It's great to see this pub open again. Once the home of the best pub breakfast, live music and crack . Unfortunately it's lost some of its personal charm and touch. The Bar person who served me , wasn't very professional or polite . Held the glass to close the rim when pouring , and he had wasn't very polite or friendly. But the hop house was nice cool and sparling .

If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. The fried Brie was amazing (5+stars). The servers were attentive and nice. My chicken burger was delicious and my fries were good. My husband's meal was "okay" which means he liked it but he wouldn't order it again (3 stars from him). He said mine was very good (4 stars from him). The atmosphere was very cool. And the beer garden was huge. We will go back again one day.

Located in the city centre and handy for meeting point. I had a breakfast on my own while I was waiting for friend, was expecting to sit by the window while I am waiting. But unfortunately was seated in the corner. Breakfast was served very quickly, everything was fresh and hot. Christmas atmosphere is present at every single part, was feeling that I am in New York, very impressed. The only thing that we didn’t liked that my friend orders a coffee and she got regular filtered coffee for 4,50. Definitely will come back to try lunch or dinner to enjoy Christmas spirit and listen live music or summer time to seat in the beer garden.

Giant venue, shame about the service! Food very very average, an OK experience. Will not be coming back anytime soon. MY EXPERIENCE: Specifically made a booking with a request to be seated within the vicinity of TVs to watch the Leinster Munster Pro14 game on a Friday night. Staff replied saying they’d put me and my partner in the sports bar. We arrived and were put upstairs which is very nicely decorated and modern, into a corner area which is very obviously the “SPORTS AREA” as it has 4 big screens (see photo attached). The volume wasn’t on for the match, they were playing Taylor swift songs and other chart music. I asked twice if I could have the volume on for the game. As soon as they did put it on, a few other people around me immediately seemed delighted and it gathered interest for the match. It was very clear that they were able to control the sound in different areas of the large upstairs restaurant / bar, as our sports area had the volume and other areas still had the music, great compromise! As soon as the second half started, a new couple came in and requested to watch soccer on another screen in a smaller area of the bar, that’s fine! As soon as they put this on the rugby match volume went off again. A complete joke to be honest. A few other groups of people had very obviously came in to watch the rugby game too and were disappointed. It was the main attraction in any bar in Dublin last night and it was on all 4 screens in our area. We didn’t even bother to ask again. THE FOOD: Very average. Really don’t see what all the great reviews about, they either don’t know quality food or are tourists who don’t eat Irish food around Dublin all that regularly. THE STAFF: Didn’t want to be there, running around like headless chickens. I was there from 7:30-10pm and I got served 3 drinks. Every time my pint was empty I had to look to try and get the attention of someone as they were nowhere to be seen. One of the servers didn’t respond at all to my request to turn the sound on. I went downstairs to the busy atmosphere in the outdoor area where the big outdoor screen was, very very busy and a bouncer immediately put his arm across me and told me to leave if I have no table, I explained to him I wanted to see if there was a spot for us and he hurried me on back upstairs. Summary: Don’t believe the hype of the other reviews, very average Irish bar on O’Connell St which obviously only cares about tourists. Serving average, ordinary bland food and poor service.

What a beautiful restaurant. Several floors and differing spaces to accommodate all parties and guests. The first floor was booked as it has live music there, so we went upstairs to the Sports Bar. Worked out fine as they have the same menu. The food was very good. We had fried Brie, wings and pizza. All were delicious and came out fast. The table and bar service was a little slow and off, but it didn’t ruin our time. Very impressed with the space and the decor. We highly recommend this spot, located by several key Dublin attractions.

Great pub with a wonderful interior! For fellow vegetarians and/or vegans, there are cauliflower wings (see attached picture) on the menu, which are delicious, as well as a falafel burger. The Caesar salad and Fish & Chips could have been better, though - the fish was too greasy and the chicken too dry.

The food is AMAZING!!! I had the spicy buffalo wings and they were perfectly spicy and tangy. The staff were also super friendly and kind.

Great vibe. Dancing 7 nights a week. Live music. I enjoyed the prawn salad very much but I'd be remiss not to acknowledge there was indeed a random piece of chicken in what was a pescatarian menu item. I didn't mention it to the waiter. Mostly because when I ordered bailey's they brought me cheese cake. The dessert was great though. Not too sweet like American treats. Overall good experience.

Great pub with delicious food 😋 beautiful inside just putting the Christmas decorations up, cabinets filled with items of the past, loved this. Great service and very friendly. Shame we only found this place on the day we were leaving, live music on in the evening. On the list for our next visit to Dublin 👍🍀

Myself and my partner had the Roast Irish Beef and Crispy Chicken Tenders, plus two puddings, with a Guinness and a couple of cocktails. The food quality was good. The chicken was slightly chewy but I enjoyed it none the less, the Beef was delicious. The staff were very tentative and friendly, and the bar had a really warm atmosphere. I great place to begin your Dublin trip!

First restaurant in Dublin we explored with benefit of pay 1 for 2 so lovely experience. Would recommend others to must visit once and you won't stop coming again. Friendly and very good for infants as well. The staffs were so polite humble cooperative. Loved being there. Loved the food though was plenty of potato fry but it was full for us .. The surrounding, the service and the timing just awesome 👌

MUST VISIT. Absolutely phenomenal place. Some of the best food and ambiance I have ever been around. Irish music and dancing by some of the world’s best to top it all off. Just an incredible spot.

Great venue! Came here two nights in a row to watch the football from the incredible beer garden. Great atmosphere as there were supporters from all the teams being showed, creating a warm and exciting atmosphere. The food was also excellent and worth the price.

Located next to the Holiday Inn Express, Murray's Pub is a traditional Irish pub with live music every night, good food and great drinks. The place is very big with an upstairs and downstairs. The Saturday night we attended, the place was packed with people and had excellent live music. We decided to return Sunday, hoping the tourist crowd wouldn't be as large and it worked out perfectly. We were able to find a place on the main floor close to the music and enjoy an Irish Whiskey. It was the perfect ending to our Ireland vacation as we departed home Monday morning.

I kept coming back to this bar every single night of my ireland trip because of the amazing service , music and quality of food and drink here! I went a total of 4-5 times and every single time I enjoyed myself here. They have live music every night , they have traditional dancers on the weekend and it’s just all around a great time. I really do miss coming here and wish Murray’s was in my home town! 100% recommend!

Went for a meal before a show. Nice decor, but disappointing experience. Ordered cheese burgers. Ordered 1x no cheese, but both came without cheese. Sent it back, along with the fries on both dishes as they were cold. For the price of the beef burger I was expecting something better, there was no salad on the dish. Ordered a Latte at the end of the meal. Not great, it was just coffee with boiling milk. Slow/poor service, multiple different people seemed to be covering our table. Difficult to get service, the bill etc.

Came here on my last day on holiday and what a perfect place to end the night. I drank Guinness for the first time and actually quite liked it. Owner was one of the friendliest people you could meet, pizza was delicious, music was lovely. Highly recommend and will always make it a point to come here whenever I come to Dublin again.

We loved it in this bar. Was a lovely surprise to walk in on 2nd Nov to find that the Christmas decorations were up. Nothing too garrish, just garlands and wreaths with lights in them. It looked beautiful. We popped in a few times during the days we were in Dublin and once on an evening when they had live music, which was great. This is when we found out that the place is bigger than we initially thought. Can't comment on food. Definitely check it out though.

Great pub, always crowded and full of locals along with tourists but still very nice and live atmosphere inside. Good food.

Went in for dinner on a Sunday night. It was quite packed but to be expected due to the location. The service was excellent and the food quite yummy. The pub has live music seven days a week and had some Irish dancers in on the night we were there. It was extremely packed up stairs though. We ate in the basement area which had an awesome atmosphere. The walls were lined with various Irish liquor and beer bottles behind caged doors. There was a wide variety of diners, seemed quite popular with tourists. This place is quite pricey, as a side note.

This place was recommended to us by locals for an authentic experience of Irish food and entertainment and we were not disappointed. We tried fish and chips and a beef stew cooked in Guinness beer - tasty but a bit heavy for our tastes. The best part of the night was the traditional Irish music and dancing which took place around 10pm. The dancers were impressive and we felt totally immersed to the whole experience. Highly recommended, especially for the show.

Very nice staff, recommend the living room pizza for food. They have a TV for sports. Smaller rather than larger

Great ambience with live performances. Unfortunately, we weren't about to try any food as the kitchen closes somewhat early. But the drinks were great.

Since we had tickets from dodublin's hop-on hop-off buses, we got a buy one get one free meal. The food was tasty, and the staff was helpful and friendly. The space was clean and enjoyable.

Nice pub with Irish songs played after 20.30 hrs. We even had food which was good. the bigger is going under renovation but still I liked the vibe it's always like visiting this place then the crowded temple bar areas.

Lovely people and pub. I visit Ireland regularly and always stop at Murray's. There's proper Guinness, live music in the evenings, and the food's not bad.

Nice place, the employees are the best. Live and regional Music. Warm and with at least 10 types of beer Plus wine, whisky and other. Some food too. Fun fact: the napkins are black :) (fancy, don't you think?)

We stopped in for drinks and a quick bite to eat during a Monday afternoon. We were greeted and sat right away, by friendly staff. There were plenty of drink and food choices, and the atmosphere was exactly what we were looking for on our first stop to an Irish pub in Dublin. There's a huge beer garden out the back, complete with a large projection screen and pool tables as well. The food was very good, and the drinks were very good as well. I'd highly recommend this place!

Food is good. Very friendly service. I got the beef & Giness pie. I dont know why they call it a pie. It is beef stew with a bead on top. It is good though. The desert with the berries is horribly sweet. The berries are good, but some kind of white candy in it is not good at all. The berries over vanilla ice cream would be good.
