👍👍 I’ve heard about community and grass roots support for long enough, but until I took my young daughter along for a training session in Clontarf GAA I had never seen it in action. If a voluntary organisation can coax teenagers to happily give up their Saturday mornings to welcome and help younger kid...

🫤 A decent place, but the prices are extortionate now. At least €7 for a pint of anything but Guinness and Smithwicks. I know times are tough, but I haven't seen anywhere in the city as expensive outside of Temple Bar. The pizzas are nice, but again they're at least 50% more expensive than the photos...

Irish pub
👍👍 This place was close to our hotel, Hilton Hampton Inn, we had dinner there one night, very nicely decorated seating area, although it's a bit small. The food was good. Service was good too, but the nice middle-aged gentleman in charge was a bit quiet, all was good .

👍 I had never been to a Rowing Club before and I wasn't sure what to expect. I had heard stories that they train ten times a week, that you had to be six foot, and drink Pimms all the time. When I showed up in August for the adult Beginners Training Camp, my mind was put at rest - we were eleven tot...

👍👍 Fun pub with good beers and roasted chicken for reasonable prices. They have plenty of board games too. I haven’t been, but in the upstairs room there should be a table tennis and a pool table.

👍 Lovely pub around Mount Street. It reminds me of O’Neils on Pearse Street, with the hotel upstairs and the pub downstairs. Prices for pints are similar as well, Guinness going for about €6.30. Staff are super friendly, which made me stick around for a few more. Will definitely be heading back again.

😠 The manager of this establishment strikes me as a predator. I have reliable information that he plies female patrons with free alcohol after hours. If he hasn't yet, I feel like he'll get away with something worse sooner or later. Beware.
