    Truly a disappointing experience. There are plentiful jewellers in Dublin and why I choose weir and sons was that it was a reputable company to either purchase or service ones items. However, my experience with weir and sons was very poor. First, I wanted to get two of my watches battery replaced. 15€ per watch not too bad for a company with great reputation like them. So I decided to give it shot. Two weeks later I got the watch back, covered in dust along with additional scratches/marks to the watch. I went back to the store to formally make a complaint about the poor replacement which left a huge mark on one of the watches. The lady was patient but was quick to blame me that the watches were already scratched prior to getting the replacement battery service done. I was honest in telling the lady that there is general wear and tear marks on the watch because watches are meant to do that over time, but does that mean that even if there are marks and scratches prior to any service being carried out to the watch that they are able to warrant new huge marks onto the watch? In the end, the I couldn't do anything about it. The watches were scratched and they didn't offer any sort of condolence or compensation but instead blamed me for the new marks on the watch. Towards the end of the experience the lady, not sure what her name was, asked me to pay again for the battery replacement which i was confused about because i had already paid before. Theres seems to be no professionalism in that service department not sure about sales but overall, I wouldn't recommend getting any sort of service or repair done to your watches from here. Send it back to the original company and pay the extra fees, its worth it.

    Terribly disappointed in the service I got from a jewelry salesperson. The online experience was fine but when we went into the store He was very blase when met in person. Spending €5k on engagement/wedding rings I would expect to be treated with far more professionalism than what we received. This experience should of been a more memorable and special time for my fiancee and I but alas it was not to be. Poor communication, lack of empathy and poor customer service has led to this bad review. If our wedding was not in a few weeks I would have simply canceled the transaction and gave the business to a more deserving and customer friendly store. I personally felt that because of the way I was dressed and my appearance that I was treated in this manner. Maybe had I had arrived in a suit I would have been treated better. Sadly I won't be shopping in this store again.

    The first item I ever bought in Wiers. Since then bought a few watches over the years. Waiting patiently on the Mario G-Shock. My only set back is not putting my name down for my dream watch as a teenager. I’d have my GMT by now or maybe not.

    When I first walked in to Weir & Sons, I was very lucky to have met Alex. I was trying to get a watch strap for my Chopard Happy Diamonds. Alex went above and beyond to measure my wrist, look through the catalogue to find sample colours, and sorted out the order. Four years and FIVE watches later, Alex still never failed to extend his warm welcome whenever we visit. We now have special pieces to commemorate our wedding, first anniversary, first baby, and more. Alex always delivers and we look forward to many more years of happy relationship.     I hadn't been to Weirs in a while. However, I went back today to check it out and had an amazing experience chatting with seller Tom, a true gentleman. Tom was very patient and accommodating with my wife and I, he offered us some coffee and helped me choose my next purchase. I am really happy with the customer service and will definitely come back.

    Poor communication, false expectations and lack of empathy. You need to look wealthy when you get into the store so they will treat you with some attention. This is the feeling I got when I purchased one Omega watch in there. They only took care of me when I said my budget was high. I purchased the leather clasp for a very expensive price and they sent it with their own price that was hundreds of euros cheaper. One of the watches I got there came gift wrapped with the price tag on. And now, after months in advance, multiple emails and trying to get real information, I give up buying the Rolex I want. You are losing business, I will not rely on this shop to increase our collection. Edit: I found the Rolex I want in a different jewellery in Spain and also got an omega for myself. Big cut of business loss weir & sons. Find a different place where they won’t have bias and will listen to you. Edit to your response: I called you back, twice. And I also left a message. You have my mail, I will be happy to send you the messages I received where "you would keep me updated and do everything you can to get the watch" I was the one chasing you MULTIPLE times for updates, sending emails and calling. Your customer service is really bad. Feel free to send me an email to schedule a call, I am a busy person in meetings and can't always pick up on your convenience.

    Would give 0 stars but minimum is 1 star. Avoid this store even if it's your last resort to buy something ... just avoid it. Huge lack of professionalism and customer experience so bad I haven't encountered so far. Now ... the story: being the official authorized Seiko store decided to buy from them a limited edition Seiko watch. Placed the order, money withdrew from my account and now the waiting game starts to get the product. As it was a limited edition watch it wasn't available at that time ( i got this ). Weeks were passing and Weir & Son didn't provide any updates on how long this takes or anything. Sometimes not even answering to my mails. But ... the worst part wasn't that: 4 weeks after i payed for the watch got a mail stating that they are sorry but they can't deliver me the watch. They are blaming the supplier. Since i waited for 4 weeks and put my faith in Weir & Son to deliver the watch ( remember, it was a limited edition one ) I was stuck with them and didn't put any order with a different retailer and now the watch can't be ordered anymore. Thanks to Weir & Sons I got no chance to get the limited edition watch that i payed and wait for a month!

    I bought an expensive watch for my wife several years ago and recently she brought it in to have either a service carried out or at the least to have the battery replaced. Her experience, which she has just finished relating to me, staggers belief! On entering the shop and stating her business to what can only be described as an over bearing and aggressive employee she was instructed to stand "there" and wait to be called. After waiting for 20 minutes or so, one of the two people apparently responsible for dealing with service customers finally called her to his desk and asked her what she wanted. This watch came with a lifetime warranty as long as it would be left in for service every three years. So how long would it take to service? 20 weeks, she was told even though the work would be carried out in house in Dublin! And how long for a battery change? 3 weeks for that even though it would also be done in house! What utter nonsense! At no time was she made to feel like a valued customer but rather an annoyance to be fobbed off or "dealt with". This is the worst example of a company who talks a great game to get you to buy their product but who are unwilling to walk the walk when it comes to delivering on their cheap promises. I will NEVER buy another thing from this shower of charlatans and encourage you, the reader, to go elsewhere and find someone who values your business.

    Hazel in the services and repairs department absolutely saved my life today. I bent a ring that was a Christmas gift from someone very important to me while on holiday. I have stopped into nearly 20 jewelers before taking a shot in the dark and wandered into here. Hazel fixed my ring in 30 seconds. Excellent service from Hazel. Thank you so much!

    Visited Weirs in Grafton St yesterday, unfortunately it was quite an unpleasant experience, my budget was €700 for a pair of earrings as a present from my husband - the young lady who served me was bored and impatient with me - I had asked to see 5 pairs from the case but she seemed annoyed with me? Perhaps its not enough money - I don't know - but I left and got them elsewhere.

    The experience of finding the perfect watch at Weir’s is second to none. The staff are so warm, welcoming and knowledgeable it’s a joy to visit and explore the super range available from all of the top marques. Alex has helped steer me through many purchasing decisions and is highly recommended as a font of knowledge. A truly impressive shopping experience right in the heart of Dublin.

    I recently purchased a watch for my granddaughter for her graduation, and the process was as effortless as always. The selection of goods available is the best in the country. My family and I have been shopping in Weirs for many years. Every time I go in there I am greeted with friendly faces and good honest advice.     Dropped into Weir & Sons today looking for something specific. I was brought to where the brand of jewelry was and had a look, Ellen offered to help me and couldn't have done more for me. She was so helpful and very informative, had great knowledge about this particular range. Spent time measuring my fingers and made sure I was entirely happy before I left the shop. Great experience

    We had a great experience in Weirs recently. I booked in an appointment to pick out an engagement ring and I can not recommend working with Jackie enough. Not only her expertise in diamonds but the willingness to spend extra time with my fiancee trying on other rings was amazing. Jackie made the day even more special for us. Not enough stars to give :)

    It is always a pleasure shopping in Weirs & Sons without question it's one of the very best jewellers in Ireland. Long established with a well earned reputation which is richly deserved. I've always received exceptional customer service from all the staff especially Yvette who makes this place really special so professional ,knowledgeable and goes over and above to make sure your satisfied . I've always had an unbelievable buying experience, it is definitely the only place i would go in Ireland for watches and jewellery.

    I recently used Weir & Sons to have my Cartier watch serviced as it had been purchased there in 2016. All I can say the level of professionalism from all the staff who I dealt with from bringing it into the store right up to my point of collection post service was nothing but excellent. A most pleasurable experience. I would highly recommend Weir & Sons for any purchases of watches or jewelry/ special gift/ purchase. A class act!

    Had a wonderful experience today at the store! The sales associate Tom and walked me through all the current Rolex watches they had on hand. Even explained some of the items about my own watch that I had no idea about! Absolutely fantastic experience and I will absolutely be buying a watch from them in the future! Tom really sold me on the store and made me feel very welcomed! Great job!

    I entered Weir & Sons on a Sunday afternoon. I was greeted by Sonya who was friendly and professional from the very outset. As, I endeavoured to choose my engagement ring she made me feel at ease, answered all my questions and encouraged me to try on other styles of engagement rings. All the while her enthusiasm for her role was clearly evident which made this experience all the more exciting for me. I asked quite a few questions about engagement rings and other gem stones. I was impressed by Sonya’s extensive knowledge, her professionalism, her mannerism, honesty and her willingness to go the extra mile in her role. As a customer you not only recognise, but really appreciate good customer service when you encounter it. It is for this reason I have written this review, to acknowledge what a positive experience I had in Weir & sons. There is no doubt that Sonya represents the gold standard of what excellent customer service is all about. Please pass on my gratitude to Sonya for the advice and guidance, she offered me in helping me choose my perfect engagement ring.

    I came in this boutique 3 weeks ago in order to buy a watch for my birthday. It was a wonderful customer experience. I had the pleasure to meet Tom who is a real watch enthusiast.     I am a Weirs Account Holder for circa a year. I will forever remain very grateful to Marko the Watch Supervisor who really went above and beyond to assist me get a watch I really wanted for a long time and one which means a lot to me. I am also grateful to many of the Weirs staff downstairs in the jewellery department who looked after my Mum on multiple occasions and again were very pleasant and went out of their way to assist. I also very much appreciate Tom in the Watch Department who looked after me today when viewing my watch and was very pleasant and accommodating. I am glad to have Weirs in Dublin and it is great to have access to professional and very pleasant staff who make the buying experience a pleasure.

    Was lucky enough to get a stunning pair of earrings as a birthday gift from Weir & Sons last year and was so upset when I lost one of them. Their online customer service was amazing, they helped me find which earrings they were so I could replace it. They arrived quickly and in perfect condition and I'm back to wearing them every day.     With only one visit, I just loved the store. The staff are all so lovely, friendly, and always willing to assist me if I needed help or wanted to ask questions. The store itself was so clean and hospitable, but the most impressive thing was the watches. Unfortunately I didn't purchase any on my visit, but the choice of watches was astounding, not to mention the quality and price was amazing. Definitely recommend to come here for gifts for your loved ones or as a treat to yourself.

    Amazing staff,so friendly, expert and professional. Top class altogether. I love going here,whatever the occasion. Before Christmas, Jackie in jewellery department so patient, helpful and knowledgeable. It was Dec 23rd in late evening, she was super friendly even though it was crazy Christmas period. Yesterday, I got more excellent service from Roger in the watch department, once again a really great experience. Weirs are lucky to have the staff they do.

    Exceptional service. Recently I had an antique originally made by Weirs repaired. I was truly amazed by the standard of service I received. The quality of the repair work was way beyond my wildest expectations. The GM of the store Noel Hawthorn actually sought outside expertise to help with the work as it needed specialist input. I was really impressed that the GM would demonstrate such personal interest and spend time in ensuring the work was of the highest quality. It goes to prove if you want the finest products and the best service you need to go to the leaders in an industry. Thank you to Noel and his team at Weirs.

    Asked to adjust watch belt for new watches and got worst service ever. Really poor quality. UPD Shop support representative contacted me, apologized and gave me brand new strap. I still need to find some leather service to adjust my strap but at least the problem was corrected. Thanks for your help and fast response.

    Such an amazing range of products from really rare pieces through to the fashion section. The staff are always so helpful when helping to select a gift for any occasion and have always been so accommodating whenever alterations to watch lengths or other pieces have been required. Would definitely recommend for their range and also service!

    Best jewellers I’ve dealt with in the city centre, I’ve bought several pieces from them and the sales staff do a fantastic job and are always extremely friendly and pleasant to deal with. I’ve had to get watches serviced here too and again all I can report is very positive. I’d highly recommend weirs to anyone

    I gave a Baume & Mercier watch to get fixed, I paid 430 Eu. The watch came back after 3 months instead of 3 weeks. I collected it and few hours after, the needle felt down that it wasn't the initial problem at all ... They took back my watch without saying sorry and sent it back to get fixed ... I wait again for almost 2 months !!! I was the only one to try to get news about my watch ... Spending time writing respectful email, visiting them in case any news cause no calls or mails from them ... The only mail that I received was poor in info ... no professional at all. I asked at the end of this a partial refund or a commercial offer, They just ignored my request. I really want to highlight the fact that during all our exchanges I used to be polite, showing patience and with an easy going behaviour. I won't recommend this place , its seems totally over estimated. There is others places around who can do the job on a professional way ... So Let me add this point, the last mail from your staff was : The watch should be back and fixed on the next week ... On the next week no call neither an email about The watch had arrived and ready to be collected ... after all delays it was at least a normal things to do. I was thinking I maybe have to wait one or two more weeks cause of the sad situation ... I waited with patience and smile like always. Then I decide to ask what's happened cause It should be collectable on the week as your mail said but no news ... Incredible answer that I had : Your watch is in our shop ready to collect from more than two weeks now ! We told you your watch should be here on the next week ... It exactly the problem ... Should be ... On the next week ... no more precision ! And when the watch arrive they won't contacting you .... Dear readers, you can make your opinion, I share my experience. I think it could be useful.

    Just got back from a trip to Weir & Sons this morning. Upon arrival I was greeted by Alex who is ideally placed at the front of the watch department as he’s friendly, extremely knowledgeable, and courteous. He answered any and all questions I had enthusiastically and without any pressure. Fantastic display of watches and I highly recommend paying a visit to Weir & Sons, and ask for Alex.

    Terrible service from Cherry in watch sales (Tudor)- would not recommend! Very condescending and aggressive in tone, it was not a pleasant watch buying experience. Kevin on the other hand was much nicer and apologetic when there was a mix up in the prices on their hang tag vs what was showing up in their system (€500+ price increase). I did find most staff in the watch department generally a little bit chaotic, walking back and forth behind the counter keeping customers waiting - clearly not the seamless or sleek service one would expect when buying a luxury timepiece. To make matters worse, I got home to find the watch covered in fingerprints as I open the brand new box and they didn’t even bother to set the proper time (lack of attention to detail and I’ve had much better experiences at Seiko boutiques). Overall, very disappointed with Weir & Sons and will be writing into Tudor to express my disappointed with this dealer.

    Andrew was absolutely fantastic at assisting me in choosing my wedding band. He demonstrated great knowledge in order to recommend the perfect band, and was happy to put the ring on hold until my fiancé could come back into store with me.     The go to place in Dublin for Rolex and other Swiss luxury watches. If you are in the market for a watch I would suggest dealing with Dan from the watch department. Dan helped me pick out a great watch and made sure I had all the information required as he has incredible watch industry knowledge. The watch department at Weirs also have a high level after sale service which played an important role in my purchase decision. I will definitely be back to add the next watch to my collection.

    I recently bought an engagement ring here. We received excellent customer service from Jackie. She went above and beyond to make sure that my fiancée was 100% happy with her choice. Jackie brought us lots of different styles of rings to try and didn't try to push us above our budget. It was clear that Jackie's top priority was finding a ring that we both loved. I would like to thank Jackie for all her help and making this a very enjoyable process.

    I have been in the market for a luxury sports steel watch for some time with no luck and decided to give Weirs a try since I had heard my colleagues speak very highly of them. Within 2 months, Weirs had managed to get me my watch and the experience was fabulous from start to finish. Adriana, the sales rep, contacted me the moment the watch was in stock and took almost an hour of her time to let me try it on, get it adjusted, pay the deposit and come back to pick it up 2 weeks later. I was incredibly impressed by the quality and speed of service, and how knowledgeable Adriana was. I have put my name down for a second watch already and hope to continue building my relationship with Weirs :) Highly recommended!

    My fiance and I had a wonderful experience in Weir & Sons while shopping for my engagement ring. We were very lucky to have met Sonya when we arrived. Sonya made us feel very relaxed and shared her expertise with us.     We had a lovely shopping experience in Weir and sons. We were dealing with a lovely sales assistant called Adam. We had looked at a ring previously and he remembered us coming back into the shop.     I have bought several items from Weir and Sons in Dublin City Centre. Each time I have found the staff very helpful and professional. I have dealt with Alex and he helped me order my dream watch.     Maria & Oded Shaul We had a wonderful experience at Weirs and their service team. My wife had an issue with her Rolex & was concerned it may be permanently damaged. It was damaged as a result of a fall. The team at Weirs were fantastic and reassured that they would be able to fix her watch …there and then , amazing turnaround ! We were told to come back in an hour & when we returned her watch was fixed and as good as new. The relief was indescribable.     I cannot recommend Weirs servicing department enough. Have relied on their services a number of times including once with a tricky warranty issue with a watch bought in another country. The staff were always extremely courteous and the pin kicks of professionalism at all times. An absolute credit to the company. Sales people are always very warm, welcoming and personal throughout the floors, even when I’m daydreaming about luxury watches. Would highly highly recommend.

    Said it was impossible to resize my antique wedding without disturbing the engraving. Thankfully I got a second opinion and had it done for a quarter of the price they had quoted me, and kept the engraving. They're just not bothered.

    I bought my first Rolex here a couple of months ago. My 5 star goes to Alex, he is absolutely amazing, so knowledge and service minded. Thank you Alex, if it wasn’t for you, I would not have bought my watch here. I’ve walked into this store a few times, never bought anything.     Purchased a diamond ring and later wanted to return it and was told no problem but it can only be for exchanged for store credit which I understood as it was a few months after original purchase, when I called to store to complete this transaction I was told actually no we are not doing that and anytime I tried to ask to speak or contact the store to discuss this with the Manager who agreed this and whom I originally purchased the ring from, I was just fobbed off. Very poor in-house service department and customer service is not good, as sales reps are not interested in building long-term customer relationships. The worst part is that I have taken this ring to a Auctioneers and have been told the value of the ring is only 25% of what I originally paid, I understand you will pay more for retail but to pay 75% more than what the ring is worth is very shocking. Buyer Beware!

    I honestly can’t thank Sonia enough for giving me and my now fiancé an amazing experience. We went to Weir & Sons on Saturday to look for an engagement ring. I had been to several shops beforehand and none even came close to the customer service we received from Weir & Sons. We were brought downstairs to a private room and offered tea/coffee Champagne the lot! Sonia took her time to listen to me try and explain what style I was after (I had no clue) and brought down a varied selection of rings and ensured I tried each style on. I then found the perfect ring which was an emerald cut. The detail Sonia went into explaining everything about the cut and the 4 C’s was just unbelievable. I was fitted for my ring size in other shops which turned out to be the wrong size! Sonia ensured I got the correct size so that the ring would fit perfectly on my finger. It really was an experience in itself. I really can’t thank her enough for how special she made us feel and for how much time she spent talking us through everything. I will 100% be back to purchase our wedding bands and will now be a customer for life. I would highly recommend anyone looking for jewellery, especially an engagement ring to try Weir & Sons on Grafton Street. Thank you so much Sonia.

    I met with Adriana yesterday, as I wanted to place my name on the waiting list for a couple of Rolex models, I also wanted to try on some different watches in the hopes of getting myself an early christmas present. Adriana was absolutely fantastic, she greeted me the moment I entered the shop and from that point on for at least an hour and a half I had her full attention and knowledge at my disposal.     You have some moments in life that you will always remember, you will have one of those moments in this place! The nicest experience for shopping for engagement and wedding jewellery. Sonya made the experience magical, she took care of us with such a personal touch, although the shop was buzzing with shoppers we felt like we were the only people there. The selection of beautiful pieces are amazing and Sonya will explain all about the 4 "c's" and make sure the piece you bring home is the one meant for you. This man was very patient and very helpful when it came to me deciding the colour and type of finish of the strap that suited the watch. I can't thank him enough for his courtesy and patient manner.
