Best Italian bar in Dublin, approved by Italians :-) coffee is great and the bakery is fantastic. Try the almond or pistachio croissant, my favourites! Also the staff is attentive and very professional. Kudos to Davide for being a cappuccino master and to Sabrina to always have the best smile!

An amazing bakery with variety of coffee, breads and sweets. It has limited stocks, mostly by afternoon everything is sold out. Try to reach there by morning and enjoy the dessert, it’s really worth trying

Everything in this caffee is amazing. Starting with the lovely professional Italian staff, the tasty treats, pastries, salads, sandwiches and soups, the hot chocolate, and last but not least , the best coffee. They have a display with lovely cakes for different occasions too. The location of Valentinos shop is perfect and they have sitting areas inside and outside.

The best croissant I ever had. Coffee mocha , plain , pistachio and almond croissants I purchase. The staff was quick and very pleasant to help the customers.

If you are looking for traditional Italian pastries and coffee, this is the best place in Dublin (recommended by Italians!!). Pastries are always fresh and the pistachio croissants are to die for. Cappuccino is amazing, the best in town!

Very good coffee and nice pastries. The croissants are very good to have by the morning. Having breakfast with the canal view is like a bless!

Very nice selection of sandwiches, pastries and cakes, the dough of the focaccia was great. The coffee was great too. The attention-staff attitude can be improved the staff are a bit impatient in general, they offer an annoying face to the previous 3 customers I had because they were unsure what to choose, in special to a lady whit her son that was a kid, he was in Disney seeing all those cakes.

A very nice place in the heart of Dublin docklands, massive variety of cakes and sandwiches. Staff is also lovely, and service is ok. Prices are a bit high, but Dublin is becoming one of the most expensive place on earth and cost of rent insurance etc drive those prices up .

I had ordered a Cake for my daughter’s 1st birthday. It was a very special occasion. I had ordered the cake 3 days in advance. When I reached the cafe to collect my cake I was told that the staff missed telling it to the chef. What a horrible blunder! There was a crowd waiting for me back at home who had come for the birthday party. Clearly the staff has other priorities!

Pretty great coffee. Some desserts are just delicious! Cakes are really worth it - especially the Tiramisu. Savory food is average. Definitely a bit pricey, which is probably the primary reason it's one less star.

Very well located and quick service. I had a cappuccino with different pastries. My favorite was the canolo with fresh cream. It was truly delicious. The other one was unfortunately not very fresh so it was a little hard to cut, but the taste was good. 100% recommend to try it 😍

Very popular cafe! Lived upto it’s expectations. Often times a dessert looks fabulous but tastes underwhelming. This was not the case here. The strawberry pistachio tart looked fabulous and tasted even better! The coffee was a nice accompaniment as well. Tried the tiramisu cake for a special occasion, which was good. Plain croissant was buttery and flakey - tasted fresh! The staff is friendly, courteous and accommodating.

Spent past 2 years in France, I am a fan of eclair and have strong willing to try different brands and productions wherever I move. However I found the chocolate eclair here is a bit disappointing, given that the chocolate on top was too thick and hard to bite, plus the pastry itself was also too dry. Given that Valentino is a very famous coffee shop, I sincerely hope that it will get improved even though eclair is not an italien pastry.

Delicious, stylish and small. On busy days can be difficult to get a table. Great croissants and friendly people.

The best strawberry tartlet. Good coffee. Depending on the day/time very busy. Expensive but average for region Delicious tiramisu. Not traditional but strong coffee flavour and chocolate on point

Excellent fresh pastries. My parents came to visit from Canada and went back twice because they loved it so much. The location is great with the view on the grand canal and prices are fair too! Coffee could be warmer but apart from that, everything is perfect!

Il Valentino in Dublin city centre’s Grand Canal Dock is a lovely café and bakery with a cozy atmosphere. I only ordered iced mocha café with oat milk and the service at the time was very speedy. The iced coffee was really good and unlike some of the competition, the level of sweetness was just right. The place is kept very clean and the food looked great too, something I’d like to try next time I’m in this part of Dublin.

Professional staff. Great coffee and other beverages. The pistachios eclair was the best I ever had. The pistachio filling is creamy with just the right amount of sweetness. Relaxed atmosphere you can sit inside or outside.

Fresh bakery products. If you like breads, go to the store when it opens around 7 as it’s a fast seller. Have had loads of cakes and pastries which are equally good. I recommend their strawberry cakes.

If you want to have dessert and a cappuccino or coffee in the lovely plaza of gran canal overlooking the sea, Il Valentino is the place to go. A peace of Italy in Dublin. I've always discovered quality, variety, and quick service here. Although the prices are pretty exorbitant (the tart in the picture costs more than €5), I keep trying to stop here when I can for a break.

Per se a good thing for a good snack, but seeing the price-value it's definitely not something which can be recommended. If you prefer pastry, you definitely can find places who value their value versus prices. Further the service for the price was mediocre, the ambience seems to be unmaintained; broken chairs, tables not cleaned between customer visits.

It's a nice place with good coffee. Sandwiches and deserts look nice. The seating area is a bit small, but can be free depending on the time of day. There is also seating just outside the main shop. Some of the seating overlooks the docks and has a nice view.Service is really efficient as someone usually takes a food order and another will take a coffee order and then move along to the next person. Unusually efficient for an Italian shop😂😜

This is the best of Dublin! Ample seating both indoor and outdoor. There are a wide range of bakery items that are made fresh every day and taste delicious. You can’t go wrong with any of the beverages or food items. This is a must see if you are nearby. There’s also a terrace view of the water, which is perfect for relaxing!

Their Veg Croissant is a must try, if you are a vegetarian. Coffees are amazing - we tried Cappuccino & Latte. We also tried the Elcair Pistachio and it was good - personally I would have preferred it warm ! So, I visited this bakery for the third time and it’s my go to place now. All the food options are just amazing. Plus, you get a lot of beverages options. The staff has always been very cordial and nice. If you are looking to enjoy some coffee in peace, beside the river then it’s a good place. Definitely recommend it ! Pizzas could have been better - so you might wanna set your expectation in terms of what to expect :) All and all, it’s a must visit ! Cheers,

Amazing coffee shop with delicious and authentic Italian pastries and great coffee. Felt like being in Italy again. Service was fast and the people were kind, i’ll definitely go back if I’m in Dublin again.

My go-to place for breakfast when I was in Dublin. Stayed near by the docks. And it is conveniently located. Great coffee, bread & pastries to start the day. Service is also good & efficient. Highly recommended

The place looks nice and the cake was amazing, although the staffs wasn’t friendly. I won’t back just cause I didn’t fell comfortable with the staffs. And the hot chocolate wasn’t good.

Lovely for a coffee and a sweet treat. The scones are great! They also have a small selection of sandwiches and the bruschetta is gorgeous. One of the best cafes in Dublin!

Good coffee, friendly staff, prime location, delicious looking pastries. Came for a cappuccino on a Sunday afternoon to drink by the Google docs it was made promptly the staff was very friendly and it was a real cappuccino not a latte. Finally a real cappuccino in Dublin! The coffee was good, a bit weak, not the best that I’ve had in the city. Will return for a flat white soon.

Maybe you currently can't go to Italy, but you can treat yourself to a cup of coffee, some lovely Sicilian cannoli and enjoy in a sunny afternoon :)

👍👍 After looking everywhere for lactose free milk, finally found it here in the food hall. Beautiful design, sort of art nouveau, with iron casted architecture, diverse shops and cosy interiors. Really recommend also for tourists who need to shop forgotten items.
