The food at Happy Out never disappoints. Great selection of brunch and toastie options. However, the service was below standard last time we were there. The table was barely cleaned up before they sat us down and it felt like we had to constantly ask for more things from the waitress, which she wasn’t too pleased about. I still recommend it as a great brunch spot and coffee spot. If you’re wanting to dine in it’s best if you make a booking prior.

I will be back! I wanted to order everything on the menu. Finally settled for the tacos- proper mexican corn tacos YES! nice kick, fresh guac, fluffy eggs(made without cow dairy), picked onion and sprinked with manchego (sheep cheese) YES!! my guest had the sourdough starter with mushrooms and two poached eggs. The coffee was great too, and the atmosphere. Lovely and bright at the back too! I can't wait to return!

This is my go to coffee shop and the place always brightens my day. The staff are super friendly, the music is upbeat (often mellow enough to work/have a meeting comfortably), and the coffee is delicious. I recommend their breakfast bap.

Best breakfast/brunch place I've ever been to. On holiday here in Dublin with my partner and we've been here for breakfast 5 times already out of our 7 day stay. Delicious food, very creative menu and everything is cooked to perfection. Staff are friendly and atmosphere is lovely!

Happy Out is one of the most pleasant cafés in Dublin. The staff is lovely, the coffee excellent, the pastries delicious, they have vegetarian options, and it is one of the very few places in Dublin where dogs are welcome indoors. It's certainly my favourite café in the city and my lurcher Deva certainly agrees 🙂

Nice spot to get a good bite and coffee. I got the breakfast tacos. the fillings and toppings was really really good, but the corn tortillas turned out to be cold. If the tortillas had been warm enough I have to say it could be one of the best breakfast tacos I have had. This is coming from a guy who moved from california, having eaten some good breakfast tacos! The coffee was a 3/5. I was recommended the Ethiopian for my syphon, but I don’t think I’ll get that blend again. Got to say the spot is really cool, well laid out for seating and take away. But the staff that was serving us was a bit too cool for school, wish I wore my APC jumper maybe I’d be recommended a better blend😳😁. In fairness it is a really nice spot to check out. I have had my enough share coffees at happy out@ bulls island and was glad to have checked out this location, was worth it!

Great Tacos, even greater Japanese-style coffee, authentically served. Can recommend this place for a nice weekend brunch. Only thing that wasn't that pleasant was the noise level as it can get really loud with the open kitchen and the tables so close to one another.

Happy Out offers a tempting breakfast menu with an exotic range of coffees, so I felt quite excited as well as hungry when I visited last week with my niece. We spent ages trying to decide because the descriptions on the menu are so seductive, but the food is actually not as delicious as it looks: the bacon was lovely and crispy but far too salty, the ubiquitous piquant sauce hid the flavour of anything it touched and my coffee experience was just average. Idea: why not put the sauce in a separate little pot? 🤔 The service was bright and friendly unless you got the surly guy. The plates looked much nicer than the photos show but we started eating before we took the photos - I told you we were hungry!!

Food is not too bad but the place is very filthy. I have been there first thing in the morning and everything was still so dirty, it's appalling. Very sticky tables, food counter thick layer of dirt, the toilets haven't been cleaned since they opened. It's disgusting. The photos are taken at around eight in the morning. It's very upsetting, they don't clean or not know how to clean. When they wipe the tables they definitely don't do it well. What I have seen, in other places would be enough to close down the business due to lack of hygiene. After all we've been through the past 2 years and the hand sanitiser is the best they can do.

For €8, the ham sandwich, which was just ham, cheese and mayo, was terrible. Easily the worst value sandwich I have ever gotten.

Best breakfast we have had in Ireland in nearly 3 years, and that's a lot of breakfasts. Taste and presentation outstanding. Thanks for making our weekend extra special.

Best coffee in Dublin, hands down. Always preferred making my own at home, but at some point started coming here literally every day because it’s just too good. Staff are great, too.

Our go to spot for coffee and Sunday breakfast! They offer great quality coffee and food and thanks to the staff, there’s always a fun and friendly atmosphere I would highly recommend their (freshly brewed) chai latte or an iced latte along with any of their super tasty pastries, toasties or breakfast options. With the new Brew Bar you can try out different coffee beans and brewing options when eating in, which we found a great experience!

Lovely coffee and toasties, the waiting in this morning was about 15 mins, before me it was some Gardaí getting their breakfast baps. My Asparagorgeous was nice, full of flavor, will definitely come back. Happy to have this on my commute everyday!

Food and coffee are amazing. Went there two days in a row for breakfast. Ordered the avocado toast twice! Stuff was really good on the first day, second bit slow and we got up to order cause we didn't want to wait any longer. If we'd stay longer in Dublin we'd go again. Highly recommended it.

Really friendly staff, amazing coffee and lovely food :) how a cafe should be run! They get through the early morning rush quick and efficiently. Such a fresh of breath air after having terrible experiences elsewhere!!

The food and coffee are lovely but is not a family friendly place. I understand the staff are all young and they don’t know what means when your baby is unsettled cause is a bit hungry. They apparently forgot his kids toastie and when it came, the lady didn't even say I'm sorry and she just threw the plate in the table... we had to remind her that we ordered it

Very nice food. The place is a tid bit small, but the food is very very good. Can't wait to go there again. Make sure to book before going. Usually crowded in the weekends. The dishes presentation is also marvelous.

Had a bit of weekend brunch recently. Small number of seats inside so would suggest booking ahead as it's a popular spot. The menu has a number of nice options on it and I went for the hash brown with black pudding and egg which I enjoyed. There where at least 4 other options I would have just as happy having and hope to get back to sample them again. Staff friendly and efficient and you can see the food being cooked in front of your eyes which I like to see. Can recommend.

Fantastic breakfast! Sourdough bread, amazingly fluffy eggs and chunky bacon. Coupled with a great dark brew batch that touched my soul (seriously good coffee). If you are in the area, don't hesitate to stop here.

👍👍 After looking everywhere for lactose free milk, finally found it here in the food hall. Beautiful design, sort of art nouveau, with iron casted architecture, diverse shops and cosy interiors. Really recommend also for tourists who need to shop forgotten items.
