Worst
experience
I've
had
with
a
medical
professional
in
Ireland.
I
called
for
an
emergency
dental
appointment
as
I
was
in
a
lot
of
pain,
the
receptionist
confirmed
the
time
after
I
specified
that
it
was
for
dental
several
times
(even
mentioned
that
I
thought
it
was
the
wisdom
tooth).
I
show
up
there
and
wait
for
almost
30
minutes
after
my
appointment
(after
signing
in
with
the
receptionist,
so
she
knew
I
was
there).
Eventually
I
was
led
into
an
office
by
a
confused
GP,
who
didn't
know
why
I
was
there,
but
saw
me
after
talking
to
the
receptionist.
Turns
out
the
receptionist
had
NOT
booked
a
dentist
appointment,
and
the
fact
that
the
GP
didn't
seem
to
expect
me
leads
me
to
think
that
no
appointment
was
booked
at
all
(or
maybe
squeezed
in
after
I
arrived,
I've
heard
similar
stories
from
other
people
regarding
this
practice).
I
ended
up
getting
a
prescription
for
the
pain
I
was
experiencing,
but
since
it
was
so
late
in
the
day
I
had
no
way
to
book
any
other
dentists,
so
I'm
left
hoping
that
this
will
work.
When
I
was
about
to
leave
the
receptionist
demanded
I
pay
for
the
incorrect
appointment
since
I
got
a
prescription
(which
is
the
least
they
could
give
me,
since
they
essentially
left
me
waiting
for
at
least
another
24
hours
to
find
a
dentist),
and
started
cursing
at
me
when
I
said
that
I
thought
I
shouldn't
have
to
pay.
She
refused
to
admit
any
blame
for
what
happened,
pushing
it
all
onto
me
instead.
I
will
not
be
coming
back
here,
and
I
recommend
other
not
to
do
the
same.
