SHOCKING ATTITUDE OF SALES Girl LINDA on 30/8/21 at 13:04 .. Went into the shop in Mary Street to buy boots.. I had 5 pairs of boots near me. Two which I was buying and three which I wanted to try on.. A curly haired non Irish staff with glasses on the floor named LINDA came to me and rudely said "will you put them back as they were"..... I was so offended and confronted her.. She began to deny and change what she said and did not apologise..... She ruined my birthday shopping experience.. I was so upset leaving the shop..Though the staff at checkout were pleasant and kind...

Been here lots of times but the last few months I think you need to improve something as this is a brand that people have expectation from. The food expires in 2-3 days also my disappointment was that I came on Stephen Day and lots of food was already expired and was still for sale and the discount it was a few cents maxim 1 euro. Also, cakes were expiring that day few hours and from 22e to 13.20e. I think you can do better to sell your food and keep your clients happy. My perspective is that you lose more if you have food expired left and costumers disappointed. Food quality is important especially for people with Crohn disease for them a food poisoning could be fatal and happen to one of the clients. It is a pity. #foodindublin#marketdublin#dubliners

Great store, nice quality clothes. Bit higher price, but 50eur for a decent jeans is fine. Lots of old fashioned for ladies, but menswear nice, and i can find lovely garmets as well for women. Recommend!

Was here today shopping, as always M&S is brilliant! We landed in to a sale which was brilliant! My mother and aunt pick up some great bargains! The sales associate Orla at the tills in the women's department, was brilliant! Helped my mother with her gift cards and was so friendly and joyful! Would have given 5 stars only let down was customers going around with no face masks on, or under their chins, which was unsettling! And wish some of the team could have said something to them!

I hear a lot about Mark & ​​Spencer, and being not into shopping, my entry to this store is so limited. A few days ago, my wife bought me a gift for my birthday from this place, but the size did not fit me, so we went together to exchange the gift, unfortunately there was no suitable size for me. The important thing is that we decided to return the gift, but they refused to return the money, their excuse was we did not show the invoice from the beginning, and they determined to give us a gift card to use the money for something else. It seems that money is more important than people in this place. The customer service by the manager was terrible in justifying it, it seems he doesn't want anyone to visit them again.

Cafe needs some serious overhaul in management - service was really chaotic. I've ran Sales of Work as a ten year old that were far more organized than this set up. Ignored by staff. Tables dirty. Tomato soup was clearly from a tin or packet. No checking of Covid certs even when I pointed it out. There were a few staff at the desks in Underwear Department having a chat - don't know why they didn't send a few up to the cafe to give their colleagues a hand. Despite the incredibly bad service, I will say the staff were polite and respectful and I saw one making the effort to carry a lady's tray for her because the lady had a crutch. They are hardworking staff but need proper management and organisation.

Wonderful selection but the personnel needs to change it’s tone when talking to customers. Especially the employee working in the ladies fitting rooms at 17:10 (ground floor) should be more professional than bossing customers around and talking to them from above. We’ve both lost the will to buy something after this experience. What a shame!

Everything in stock in this branch. It has a huge food court: off-licence, bakery section, fresh fruit and veg. Fast lane check out and conveyor belt check outs for the food court, no self-service check outs. There are 3 floors for clothes and home wear also. Great and very friendly staff every time I've been there

I had a bra fitting appointment in Mary St store yesterday 11th August, I couldn't be happier with the service I got, I'm 6 weeks post surgery, the lady who assisted me was so pleasent, helpful and knowledgeable, she showed me a good selection of bras and made sure each fitted comfortably

A whole lot of designers to pick from at relatively okay prices. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The store is a great place to shop for good quality men, ladies, and kids wears and fashionable clothes.

Extremely poor experience at the cafe. The staff is rude, the coffee tastes extremely bad and is overpriced. Cafe staff don't seem to even want to work. Tables are dirty. Would totally recommend avoiding the cafe.

Completely disagree with owners statement that M&S iare good value shops .. the quality is better than in Dunnes , Tescos or New Look but anyway clothing is well overpriced.. Love some food items though, especially their own brand juices they are good of quality and really great untypical mixes , and price is decent- 3 eur for 1 litre pack

Having lunch in the cafe of M&S in Henry St Dublin, is more akin to having it in an ICU of a hospital. The constant beeping of the ovens is to intense, I felt sorry for the staff who were run off their feet, they were polite and courteous. The food was good, the coffee OK, but my God that constant beeping. M&S there has to be another way. The noise ruined the experience.

i work next door and for the last 6 months i have been buying cookies regularly and have always been happy with my favorite sweets. but to be honest the last 5 days I can't see fresh cookies, every day cookies are very hard. Explain please, what is the shelf life of the cookies? And when are they baked ?

the girls today on the restaurant were so nice two lovely girls on the coffee machine and the till asked for sparks card to get my stamp for coffee and would I like anything else other girl so nice making coffee all saying hello to customers and so approachable the girl who seems to be on the sandwiches is a credit to your company also switched on looked after customers told them to go ahead and she would look after their choice in toasting their sandwich fast helpful to the girls at till point great staff 👌👍👏

Lovely interior and good espresso but staff seems confused a bit as we didn’t get our food and after 35mins asked for refund and left the restaurant.

I attend the food hall on a weekly basis due to location of my work. I always make my way to Phil who always manages to brighten up my day no matter what kind of day I’m having. She’s so kind and helpful and it really goes a long way!

Struggled to make contact with M&S over a few days. No one available at the on-line chat service and only a trigger email sent to my query. Called Customer Service, on hold for 10 minutes then representative hung up on me. Finally spoke to a representative about an item missing from my order, extremely disappointed with the service.

The M&S café is even worse than usual: unfriendly staff, no vegan choises, extremely dirty tables all around.

Ordered online a product at 42 euro. This arrived free delivery, but product clearly marked 29.50 euro..? The item was Cord Trousers ' Stretch'. Product wasn't ' Stretch' at all. Now..!. Try and contact where this order came from.. It's a rubbish Customer Service availability Where M&S's telephone contact will cost you.. For thier mistake. I've émailed.. Let's see where this goes.

The staff & manager in This store are the rudest people ever seen ! The way they are serving not even reached to 1 star , should be minus ! Will be never ever shopping in this store . After terrible experience in the store, the first thing is delete the marks app. There are plenty retail stores are available, why should we been abused when we shopping .

What a delightful place to shop. I found tge staff in the children's department really helpful. A young lady , named Niamh, went to so kuch trouble to get the items I needed. I'm happy to recommend this store

Horrible attitude by the Supervisor Tracey at checkout. Went to buy some fruits at Mary Street, Dublin. Looking at me, she said store doesn’t accept $500, $100 or even $50. Only accept notes that are smaller!! Come on..are you kidding me? M&S is a big store…and you said you don’t accept $50 notes? Maybe, it’s because I’m an Asian? I don’t know…

Bad experience, tried to return an item with a receipt in original shape and they refued to give me a refund or exchange over the fact that tag was missing. Nowhere on the website or anywhere else there is a policy which mentions the tags as a requirement for the exchange. This brought me to conclusion to leave the clothing item there together with the receipt. You just lost a customer.

M&S is what it is, beautiful well made clothing and shoes plus beautiful household stuff and a wide variety of food including #baobuns

During the week of May 30th I went to the Marks and Spencers in Dublin, Ireland that sits on the corner between Mary street and Liffey Street Upper to look for a suit for my college graduation. Between multiple visits to the men's department/floor to find a suit, shirt and ties I met an employee called Ronan who could not have been more helpful and nice. He was extremely helpful in helping me pick out a shirt and suit and as well as being helpful, he was also extremely nice to chat too, all the time with a smile on his face. This review/comment can do little in the way of expressing how much I hope that the team at M + S on Marys Street/Liffey Street Upper realise how lucky they are to have such a nice and helpful guy on their team as Ronan, but my experience that week means I will definitely return to and recommend to others that Marks and Spencers in the future.

The best service I’ve ever had from Marks and Spencer in Mary Street! I’m a shoe fanatic - I’ve more pairs of shoes than you could shake a stick at (or a foot) but still I keep buying and buying. Let’s face it, a girl can never have enough shoes! Today I went to Marks and Spencer in Mary Street to buy a pair of leather mules. I asked Niamh at the payment counter if she could assist because I couldn’t locate the shoes on the shop floor. Niamh, who normally works on the ground floor, said she would try to locate the shoes in the returns department (it said that there were two pairs in my size in-store). Off Niamh went to search and after 15 minutes or so, she returned with the shoes in question. I tried them on and they were perfect. Really comfortable. So they were duly purchased. Even if Niamh hadn’t located the shoes, I’d like to give her a special mention because honestly, she went above and beyond to help me. I would also like to acknowledge Katie who served me. Both staff members were friendly and very very professional. They’re a credit to Marks and Spencer. Well done M&S!!

It used to be a great cafe but a change of staff has left it suffering. They used to give you a number that correlated to your food now they just shout out your order. Definitely takes away the nice feel of the place considering how expensive it was.
