The area is very big and still expanding. It isn't crowded at all and there is a good view on the Rhine

The RheinPark not far from the city is a real gem especially for sporty people. Climbers, basketball players, skaters, walkers, beach volleyball players are in good hands here. The terrain is also suitable for kite flying, the wind from the adjacent Rhine gives the necessary buoyancy. If you want to take it easy, relax on the 1.4 km waterfront and enjoy the view of the historic bridge of solidarity, the Rhine and the opposite Rheinaue. Preserved components of the former industrial plants give RheinPark its own fascinating atmosphere. Especially the ore bunkers decorated with graffiti are worth seeing. The contrast between these relics and the many green areas is extremely attractive and a sought-after photo motif.
