Not recommended at all. The boss there doesn't work at all. You can only feel sorry for the employees. Totally unfriendly and thinks he's better than any normal earner.

Great welcome, friendly staff, they take time for the guest. A modern house in the middle of nature, quiet location. Bicycle can be locked in a separate garage and is therefore safely stored. Room (I was lucky and got a 4-bed room for myself) modern with shower/toilet in the "private" area Mattress surprisingly good, Sockets on each bed Small table with chairs in the room, which severely limits the size of the room. But absolutely sufficient for an overnight stay. Dinner good, healthy and tasty. Second helpings were possible. Breakfast like in the hotel with all sorts of drinks, cereal and fresh fruit. Rolls/various range of breads, fruit spreads, sausage/cheese... everything your heart desires. A little louder in the hallways because children are running around - not a negative point! - something like this can happen when you go to a youth hostel. Conclusion: Surprisingly good house! I had doubts, but I have to confirm that the image of the youth hostel here has absolutely changed

No ventilation it was really hot in the rooms but the service was great the willing to help

We spent one night here as a family while passing through. The situation is very special and exciting. Sufficient parking spaces available. Nice reception. Rooms are more spacious than we have often had in Juhe, clean and quiet. Food was completely fine. The beds are a big minus. Tough! Thin piece of foam on board. It's not any worse on the ground either. It's a shame when you plan a special stop on a trip so that you can continue your journey refreshed, but then you can hardly sleep.

Good place to stay here. Has several facilities to make your stay nice.

I was there with my class on a school trip, which was actually quite nice, but the program was ungodly. Certain people just have an attitude that you can't even imagine. The rooms are actually quite ok (apart from the fact that the shower looks cursed, there is no soap and the mattresses are extremely hard). But the food wasn't that great either, the breakfast was great but the lunch and dinner weren't that great. In addition, you simply don't have the opportunity to drink anything because you are not allowed to bring your own food into the rooms and there is only water when the cafeteria is open. You can buy a small bottle of water from the machine for 2 euros, but who can afford that in the long run? No one. The environment is actually quite nice but maybe not in winter because I personally think I have a cold after the program there. Because of course the program manager (Julius) had us set up some strange track for 3-4 hours in the rain at 1 degree. I didn't think it was that correct since we were only there to strengthen the class community. But this was achieved thanks to the accumulated hatred against this program<3

It was nice experience for me and the group I was monitoring. We stayed 6 days there. The youth hostel is located next to industries transformed into various sport and leisure activities and a park. It is quite original, and it looks cool with the special lights at night. Had a double room for myself and it was great and clean. The students from my group were quite happy the rooms. I found them to be a bit tight and the floor doesn't look great. Also, I slept one day in a room with four beds and it there was dust on the floor :(. The food was a bit disappointing. I hesitated between 3 and 4 stars but then again it wasn't that bad and the service was great :). They were very friendly at the reception. We rented a room for workshops and it's big, calm and looks good, there are many bay windows which is great. The outside of the room with the sliding metal door wasn't pretty at all though. Well I say "room" but it was actually a tiny "house" a few meters away from the youth hostel.

As always, everyone at the JH was nice and helpful. Delicious breakfast buffet, quiet room. The only thing that doesn't fit in with "Bett & Bike" 2024 is the lack of landing options for the e-bike.

Great location, right in the landscape park. Facilities typical of a youth hostel. Room with private bathroom. Breakfast with a good selection. Very friendly staff. You can rent bicycles right next door. The stop of tram 603, which goes directly to/from the main train station, can be reached on foot in about 15 minutes.

Very nicely renovated in a historically great setting. Sufficient parking spaces available. The staff is consistently friendly and attentive... but: coffee is a complete disaster, it can hardly be thinner. Coffee machine can only be used for breakfast. Drinks vending machine and sweetie machine available, but no beer in the evening, no stay anywhere possible. No information in the room that bed linen must be removed and left on the ground floor. The beds are rock hard, wooden boards with holes, and about 10cm of foam mattress on top. The environment is really cool and photogenic. Unfortunately the hostel is very remote, it's not that easy to get somewhere, eat or shop. I didn't have Wi-Fi in the room, nor did I have a TV, so that's not really up to date

We received a very friendly welcome, advice and information about the most important points. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Even at breakfast!! The location at the landscape park is great!!! Will definitely come back. Thank you very much

There were three of us (with 1 child) and we felt completely comfortable. The employees were super friendly and accommodating. The food also left nothing to be desired. The charm of the blast furnace convinced us to definitely come back again. :-)

I spent one night here as a guest in transit. The location is very beautiful and special. There are some parking spaces available. Reception is very nice and accommodating.

Excellent youth hostel with great rooms and friendly staff. I must admit that I didn't book it for the location. Only because it was near the motorway and about halfway through a very long drive.

Meal was just acceptable but not more than this. It has been to hot and bad air in the workshop-room. And we didn't get enough coffee during the workshop.

Very nice personnel great single rooms with lots of space. Very close to the landschaftspark. I would definitely come back here.

staff was extremely kind and helpful, food is amazing any concerns you give them they will act and try and fix it immediately. i love this hostel would 10/10 reccomend
