Great Chinese/Japanese fusion with Min’s personal touch. I was impressed with both the level care and thoughtfulness put forth to make this delicious food. Loved it and highly recommend it.

I just went to this restaurant for a meal yesterday. It tastes great. I can feel that the dishes in this restaurant are prepared with care, and after communicating with the boss, I found out that his dishes have no additives. The seasonings they use for cooking are all additive-free, and the price is very affordable, I recommend everyone to eat!

What a discovery! I am so excited about the food at Bistro Ginkgo that I am writing my first online review ever. I lived for many years in China in the 1980s and 90s. There I discovered my taste for vegetables and seafood. The food at Bistro Ginkgo is prepared with love and passion. The Jiaozi brought back a flood of memories sitting with friends around the dinner table late at night. Try also the fried noodles. At Bistro Ginkgo the customer is king. The food and service were absolutely wonderful. The chef is extremely talented and everything is made fresh to order. Dining there was more than just dinner, it was a wonderful experience, and I highly recommend this place is you are in Duisburg.

Simple interior, simple packaging, wonderful hosts and absolutely delicious food! This place had 5 stars out of 100 reviews at the time of my visit. I had never seen such good reviews so I knew it would be out of the ordinary. I bought a bento box (one hot dish, two cold sides and rice, all vegan) for my girlfriend and I. And it positively blew our mind. The flavours and the seasoning were absolutely on point! It is obvious the food is prepared with much care and attention. Same care and attention is also felt in meeting and conversation with the hosts. They gave me tips on the dishes and helped me choose a really nice dinner for us. They speak great English by the way, so TOURISTS: GO HERE.

Authentic Chinese vegetarian cuisine with sophisticated and tasteful personal touch. often using home grown and made ingredients, thereby creating multiple layers of tastes, make a wow dining experience that can hardly be found in any other Asian restaurants in the region. Absolutely great!

Don't mind the renovation that's in progress. The food and service still is amazing. Don't even bother choosing something from the menu; take the 10 for €25 instead. You'll not be disappointed :)

Authentic Chinese food made with extremely fresh and wholesome ingredients. I couldn’t recommend this place enough. The owners were also extremely kind, good people. I would recommend them 100 times over. I wish we could go back, but are sadly only passing through for one day.

Fantastic restaurant, very special and delicious vegetarian and vegan place, so much attention and care for small details and super friendly owners. Besides getting an unbelievable delicious food for very fair prices, your stomach will thank you also for the long term. I didn't feel tired or heavy after eating there. This food was so amazing, I didn't know mushrooms could taste that good! We had the Teriyaki, and it was soo tasty! ❤️The atmosphere is so lovely too! We were greeted so warmly and didn't need to wait long for our food. The chef even came and told us about the history of the food and how she prepares it. Really made our evening to find this little gem 💎 will definitely be recommending and going back as soon as possible!

The best place I have ever been, not kidding. The quality of food arrives already when entering the place, the perfume is amazing. Tasty, original, and 100% vegetarian/vegan. Really not the usual bistro. It took a few minutes to understand the philosophy of the chef . In the end , we liked the meals and are looking forward to taste more of them!

Bistro Ginkgo is a very cozy place with a special experience,run by 2 persons who are giving the place a soul and a story. Very authentic (Asian food closer to the Chinese cuisine), following the concept of clean and fresh food. It’s vegan (with an option of adding eggs). Strongly recommend it to everyone who is looking for something special, healthy, clean, but full of natural flavors. Listen to the story to get to the soul of the food!

Kind and very pationate owners. Everything is homemade so it might be a bit slow but definetly worth it. Great place!
