My wife and I stayed on the third floor with a lake facing room over Easter weekend and it was absolutely amazing. (The views were breathtaking and a huge reason we selected this establishment). That being said the room was very clean and well kept and everything you would hope for in a room. While staff contact was minimal for our stay they were always super friendly and more then happy to accommodate any request/question we had. An added bonus is they have under ground parking which is a lovely bonus as we could park and take an elevator right to our room and didn't have to worry about heating the car up the one day it snowed. 10 out of 10 experience with Beacon Pointe and would recommend this to anyone looking to be captivated by stunning views of Superior and a cozy rcute room!

Wow, this place is beautiful!! It is very clean, the staff were welcoming and the views of Lake Superior (especially when ships were coming in) were perfect. Plus, this location has underground parking (first come first serve) with no additional fee! My husband and I did splurge and got the penthouse view/Suite, and it was worth it! Very spacious, clean, and it has a private balcony, plus a jacuzzi in a separate room that overlooks Lake Superior (but far away from the shore, so people won’t see you). I can’t wait for when we can go again!

We were trying to find a place to stay in Duluth. After reading review after review about dirty, understaffed hotels we decided to roll the dice and try staying here. Great choice! It was great. The desk person was very busy, but they were always helpful. Parking was fantastic because all the rooms are about thirty seconds from the front door. It was super easy to get back and forth between Beacon Pointe and Canal Park—on foot or by car. Beautiful views. Extremely nice pool area. It’s a small pool, but it was very clean, everything was the right temperature, and they have a sauna, hot tub and pool. We will be back!

My husband and I stayed here for a few days as a mini honeymoon and WOW! The view of the lake from our room was breath taking and the weather was surprisingly warm for November. We lucked out! Our room had its own jacuzzi which we spent most of our time in, and the fact that the hotel offered complimentary underground parking, popcorn, smores, apple Cider, tea and duluth coffee was just the icing on the cake. Everything about this hotel was relaxing and a great way to spend a romantic getaway in Duluth.

My husband and I stayed at Beacon Pointe Resort for our honeymoon/ first wedding anniversary and it was so amazing and relaxing! We booked last minute because our other travel plans happened to get canceled, but we are so happy with our stay in Duluth! Absolutely beautiful place right on Lake Superior!

Our first time staying at Beacon Pointe, weather was windy. I asked if we can upgrade to waterfront room, without any hesitation Carol the rooms manager accommodated making our stay very nice! Thank you, Carol! Never forget your kindness. Claire Yes

Absolutely fabulous view of Lake Superior!! Very comfortable and clean. Well organized and hospitable staff. Looking forward to staying again next year! Little bit of carpet repair needed in our suite.

Stayed at Beacon Pointe for 2 nights. We had a suite, a king size bed, refrigerator, sink, nice balcony overlooking the lake. The shower in our room was wonderful! There was a jetted tub, but we didn't use it. Service was fine. Grab-n-go breakfast was ok, with cereal, bagels, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, orange juice and coffee. Would definitely stay there again.

Front Desk gentleman so very friendly and helpful. Beautiful view right on Lake Superior. (Huge ship anchored not far from our view). Full kitchen. Coffee and coffee maker included. Easy to get to off 35 and great parking.

This place was fantastic! The room was very clean and quiet. The hot tub jets weren't working at the time, but I was still able to relax in the hot water, and the pool was clean. The view was spectacular! Perfect way to end the day and start the morning on the patio right on lake Superior. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend!

This was a really nice quiet location. They have everything you would need or want. The view is amazing and rooms are nice. Every night they have a fire outside and give you stuff to make smores! Even has heated underground parking!

Had to cancel our anniversary trip to Maui due to the fires (milestone anniversary, never been there). Decided to head to the North Shore. I can't remember the last time I slept that well, and I haven't since then. It was perfect weather to sleep with the patio door open, and listening to the waves crash against the rocks was incredibly relaxing. The view of the lake was beautiful and the room was super comfy.

Amazing family vacation spot! Stayed 4 days and wish we never had to leave. Hot chocolate bar in the lobby put it over the top for the kiddos. Even played in the indoor pool! Can’t say enough good things about our stay. Definitely coming back!

Stunning resort right on the water. The rooms are gorgeous, with the most comfortable beds and pillows of any hotel I've ever stayed in. There's a decent amount of parking available on site. There's even a fire pit for s'mores. One recommendation: they should arrange/contract with an e-bike or e-scooter company to have a docking station by their lobby. Walking up and down that hill is brutal. My only other recommendation is related to the marathon weekend. They say they have a shuttle available to get you to UMD. Not exactly. It's just a single guy with a small van, and with so many guests needing transport to UMD, he had to make multiple tiny trips. Some of us only got to UMD with a few minutes spare. They should definitely take the money they spend on those unnecessary runner-welcome-bags and just pay for a proper shuttle bus.

This was our first visit to Beacon Pointe and it was absolutely wonderful! The staff was so welcoming, they even called earlier on our arrival date to let us know our room was ready. When we arrived, our room was more spacious than I thought, very clean, and with lots of nice amenities(dishes, toaster, etc). The bed was comfortable, shower had jets, and there wasn’t too much noise from other rooms/guests. My husband really enjoyed the sauna in the pool area, the continental breakfast was also just enough for us! We came in February just for a relaxing weekend, and Beacon Pointe was our perfect oasis! Highly recommend!!!

Clean and spacious rooms. We had the 3 room penthouse and it kept our family comfortably. A few more kitchen items would have been appreciated to make things a bit easier (toaster to accommodate bagels, tongs, scissors) but overall a great place to stay. The complimentary smoores kits were a huge hit!

We came up for our “baby moon” before our first baby comes in June, it was such a wonderful property! The staff was very friendly and attentive. The views were stunning! We enjoyed coffee on the walk out patio watching the ships roll in. My husband loved the sauna while I enjoyed the in-room jacuzzi! The room was so clean!! It was a perfect spot to relax and spend a romantic few days. We would definitely come back.

Amazing views!! This is a beautiful hotel to stay in Duluth with the best views of the lake right from your room. We had a great experience and the location is great, so close to Canal Park.

Our agency had to make special accommodations for a client who had emergency house repairs, which resulted in scheduling a room “last-minute” at The Beacon Point Resort. The service our client received from the hotel staff was beyond exceptional. All requests were addressed in a timely fashion and managed professionally. While staying at the resort, the hotel staff showed a caring interest in our client and treated her with kindness and respect. We highly recommend Beacon Point for its breathtaking views, excellent service, and 5-star accommodations.

What a beautiful place to get away from it all and just relax. The rooms are perfect and with the condo style setup it is easy to get accommodations for the two of us or do whole family gatherings. The rooms are very comfortable and the view is amazing. Beds are comfortable and we got a great nights rest. Located just outside of downtown makes it great to slip in and sight see at the Lift Bridge or head up the coast to the Glensheen Mansion or further to Splitrock Lighthouse. The private patio is wonderful and the view is spectacular. We can even see the Lift Bridge from here. The staff is wonderful and so hospitable. We can’t wait to come here again and enjoy even more. The underground heated garage was a real blessing in the winter.

Absolutely blown away by the view at the Beacon Pointe. Stayed here for a week and loved every second of our time here. Waking up to a scenic view of Lake Superior from our living room is something I won't ever forget. The amenities in the lobby, available 24/7 is a nice touch, I was frequently grabbing the hot cider. Came here for a wedding not knowing anything about the area and the Beacon Pointe will now be a frequent destination for us. Can't wait to come back.

We had the most wonderful family vacation. Thank you to Beacon Pointe! Beacon Pointe was the perfect place to stay with our 4 small kids. We rented a 2 bedroom condo. The views of Lake Superior are gorgeous. The front desk lady was SO nice and helpful our entire stay. We enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and sauna all to ourselves every night. The campfire overlooking the lake and s’mores are just so fun. Watching the ships right outside on our balcony was amazing. Underground parking was great when storms came through. We will be back soon!

Nice private area. Penthouse suite was nice but overall nothing amazing besides the views. Front lobby staff was very welcoming and helpful. Cool spot away from all the canal craziness but still right there. Nice 45 min walk. Tristan was a great guy upon arival.

Our little family came up the weekend of Mother's Day this year, and with a 1 year old baby, we wanted our room experience to be the "main event" of our trip. We flubbed on reservations for rooms, my own personal mistake in booking, but then were assisted by the on-staff manager this same weekend (Grant), who helped us upgrade rooms and made sure we felt welcomed and checked up on. Absolutely outstanding service from him, and in turn the hotel itself. Even ignoring great service, the room was delightful, comfortable, and the lake-side was the icing on the cake. We got some adventuring in during the day, but obviously couldn't go out really in the evenings. This worked out great, thanks to the shore-side patio to sit and watch waves the crashing, with a great view of the Duluth harbor. Location was still central enough to feel connected to any major part of the city, but slightly removed being at the edge of the road, which we also adored. We're absolutely coming back here next trip to Duluth.

Stayed here with my husband for our 20th anniversary 6/21-6/26/22 and I was seriously blown away the moment I opened the door to our two room suite! The view was spectacular! The place was amazingly clean. The jacuzzi next to the extra comfy king size bed was the icing on the cake. I love how it’s tucked away in a nice residential area but not too far from the action by the harbor and downtown, which gave my husband instant access to romantic date nights while our teens enjoyed free movies and popcorn at the suite. Staff were super friendly and accommodating when we asked for extra towels (which you don’t see very often in the hospitality industry) I can’t wait to return!

This hotel was beautiful! Perfect views and beautiful rooms with a lot of amenities. Loved the staff and how well stocked the rooms are. They come with dishes and everything needed to cook or enjoy drinks. No issues with neighbors and everyone was very polite. I will 100% recommend this hotel, it’s worth the money.
