Really enjoyed this park on Lake Superior. There are a lot of trails running through here and along the lakeside. The stage and amphitheater structures are interesting, as is the bridge into the park. Didn’t get to see the attached rose garden but was definitely interested. Live music would be awesome here, but we visited in fall, so no outdoor events. Still a lot of people outside using the grounds and the Lakewalk. Would recommend

Quick stopped here and ended up walking the lake walk from here all the way to Canal Park (about 1 mile). As you can see from the many pics posted here, the flowers and fragrances were magnificent. Additional benefits include benches (sun or shade…your choice) and easy access to the Lakewalk.

Highly recommended Duluth, MN park. We were about 2 weeks too early for a late bloom of roses and other flowers. The lilacs were wonderful smells and sights.

A very beautiful view of the Duluth shoreline and plenty of rose bushes to take pictures with. I wish they had maintained the structures a little better. Nonetheless, it's a good place for a sit-down picnic.

As a nice park, great location. Enough room for park activities. Right along the lake shore. Also the main trail/boardwalk goes along its edge, in-between canal park and the Rose Garden.

It’s a beautiful park even in the cold where you can see the lake as the water breaks. It’s a very scenic area with a lovely walkway.

Beautiful rose garden with both city and great lake views, free parking, and attached to the 1.7 mile paved/boardwalk all the way to the pier & canal park. Plenty to see, eat or shop along the way, even a small sandy beach & art/ monuments/ anchors along the path. Park is very well-kept and has many wandering paths.

Leif Erikson Park and Rose Garden around Lake Superior are two best places that you can visit for free. Rose garden has good collection of flowers. There is a nice walk up to the lake area and you can enjoy the lake superior views. Beautiful places for photography. You can see a nice rail track going along the park.

My favorite view of Duluth! This is a gorgeous park that is nice to walk and enjoy. I lived seeing the flowers in the rose garden as well as walking the lower section of the park, where you can go all the way to the rocky shoreline of the lake.

Beautiful area all year round from movie in the park during the summertime to Sledding down the hill during the winter. It's a great place for people of all ages and the paved bike trail passes right through it.

Beautiful little lakeside park! Connects to the lake walk as well!

Pretty park that you will almost certainly miss. I've been to Duluth a few times and only stumbled across this park this time. It's also called the Leif Erikson Rose garden, and rightly so. We were too early for the roses but the tulips were still there. Can easily say that quite a bit of work goes into maintaining this park. It also connects to a small portion of the beach.

This was a fabulous place to visit! It is a rose garden, but there were only a few roses in bloom when we visited. There were, however, many, many other beautiful flowers in full bloom. The park and flower gardens are well cared for and maintained. It's a garden straight out of a fairy tale. If I lived close, I would come walk this park every day!

Nice park with some really strange seating options. We met a homeless man named Steve. He brightened our day along with the other people at the park. 5 stars because it was pleasant and well maintained

The Rose gardens were stunning! My husband and I had dinner at Va bene then walked through Leif Erickson park, and over to the Rose garden. We're Duluthians- and both agreed we should visit here more often!

Amazing variety of roses! The aroma in the garden was delectable. And the view over Lake Superior was amazing.

This park is right along the shore of Lake Superior. Pretty views all along the way. We went expecting to see the roses in bloom but we were too early. It was pretty cold, windy snd muddy. But that didn’t prevent us from have a good time.
