Extremely disappointed with my recent visit here. 2 of the 4 sets of cutlery still had food dried onto them which the dishwasher obviously hadn't removed. Most of the food was awful. The meatballs in the spaghetti were tiny, tasteless and grey, as if they were boiled, the blue lagoon cocktails literally tasted like fizzy white Lemonade with some blue colouring in it - no alcohol could be tasted at all. Pizza was only okay which was really disappointing - quite tasteless really but looked good. Garlic bread and chicken wings were nice. No bowl of water with chicken wings so we had to go to the bathroom to wash our hands after. I used to be a regular here but unfortunately I doubt I'll be back again.

Tried the pizza from Bits and Pizzas after all the hype and i have mixed feelings on how did I find it. To start with pizzas were not bad but definitely it was not the best i had. Quality of cheese on pizza was just like any American style pizza which didn’t suit the base I guess. Maybe pizza would have been a lot better if I was eating that in restaurant. I liked the tomato base as it was better than most of the places. I have to say that I am disappointed with the garlic bread. It tasted like something similar to the ones we get from Tesco. Readymade baguette slices with garlic butter spread. Definitely you guys can do better than this.

This place with a bit more central location will shame any restaurant. Went there yesterday with wife and 2 friends and have to say we were struggling to find something to eat, something new, so we decided to give it a try. ABSOLUTELY LOVELY. First, take as starter chicken wings. We had the barbeque sauce ones, a bit more oregano in sauce then i go for, but was still good. I took photos of the plates a bit too late (when we finished it). The size of the portion beats any restaurant MAINS size. I would say there was easily 15 wings per plate. Never seen wings that purely melts the meat of the bone. Juicy, fresh, just perfect. A little down size that it could do with a little bowl of water, but i managed the fork and knife. Then for mains, we have pizzas. Stone baked, thin, crispy. Another delish. The table behind me had spaghetti meatballs, and i took a photo of those cuz was looking so good. I know where i eat the next time i go back in the area. I won't be returning, we had to ask the waiter where our food was as it took so long to arrive (40min). I ordered the skewered chicken which was literally one very small piece of chicken wrapped in bacon on a long empty stick x 3 and half a bowl of leafs to make the plate appear full for approx €9, for the main I ordered the pasta and meatballs, the meatballs are tiny, tasteless, grey and appear to be boiled if I'm not mistaken and they are not worth the price of the dish nor the waiting time. My partner got the carbonara and had found it tasteless and bland, overpriced and tastleless food. Staff were nice and the service was slow but it was OK, nothing special.

Nice service. But the pizza was pretty awful and very overpriced for the quality and was €6:50 for a pretty mediocre pint. Base of the pizza resembled more of a really bad frozen pizza you buy in a supermarket than a restaurant made one. Can’t understand how this has 4.3 stars.

Service was average but the quality of the pizza was shocking. Handfuls of toppings swimming in cheese in the middle with nothing round the outside. The most tasteless pizza I've had in some time. Aldi ingredients at restaurant prices. Asked for the bill but never arrived. Zero atmosphere. I believe it's under new management and it shows. Especially cringey how the manager stood over the staff. Won't be back....ever!

Went here for a meal on a birthday celebration. Atmosphere nice. Staff very pleasant and the food was good value.three course meal was €25. Three choices with each course. The food was hot and very nice.the pizzas were made in front of us. Would recommend for a nice evening.would deffo go again

Wow wow wow!!! Food was superb we had, calzone, gluten free pizza and the ceaser salad (starter portion) and they were all delicious, highlight of the whole meal had to be the gluten free pizza. It is so hard to find a good crust and this was the best one we ever tried, super satisfied and would come here again for sure. 😍

Except the Buffalo sauce, everything else are great! Nice stuff, clean, not crowded seats.

Terrible food this place should be featured on a Gordon Ramsey's show. The pizzas make the two-euro, supermarket-brand frozen pizzas look like some high quality gourmet. The pepperoni felt like eating plastic and tge chicken was raw. The ambiance is depressing and the bad smell will never leave your clothes. The staff were nice but need a lot of training.

Excellent food and amazing staff. This is a favorite restaurant for our family and every time we walk in, we feel most welcome. The chicken wings here is amazing and we love the pizzas too.

Love this place. Come here quite regularly. Have to say the Early Bird menu is a great price. The staff are A1 (Jennifer) in particular. she went out of her way to help us. Can't wait to get back. A Dun Laoghaire gem...glad it's back again!

Have been going here for years always found the place great. But that changed today. Went in expecting the same friendly service. What a disappointment we went in at about 4:20pm and were out by 5:05pm. Some of us finished out meal before others. From the time the first person in our party of 4 finished. A few members of staff would come down and look at our table to see if we were all finished. Till we thought enough of this and left. We paid our bill and never even asked if we enjoyed the meal. Unprofessional Disrespectful Unacceptable And unapologetic

I'm so delighted this restaurant has reopened. The food is all freshly made to order and is delicious! We had the calzone pizza which was huge and the spaghetti and meatballs which was also a decent sized portion. The price is reasonable and they accept walk-ins right up to 9.45pm (someone actually walked in and was seated even though closing time was 10pm). We will definitely be back again soon!

The toppings were pretty good but I was a bit disappointed by the pizza crust (then again, I'm Italian). The mango cheesecake was very good. Prices are pretty good - 12" pizza and dessert is 20.95

Delivery order arrived after 1 hour 40 minutes and was delivered only after a call to the restaurant. Sounded like the order was forgotten about. Buffalo chicken wings didn’t taste fresh. Would not recommend ordering takeaway from Bits & Pizzas.

Family lunch for a birthday, 4 adults, 1 child. Food was nice, but nothing exceptional. Was disappointed in pizza as was very thin base and not thick crust as I had seen from online ones. Mango daquiri was delicious! We all did the Set Menu (21.95 for 2 courses) which was good value. We were seated at the window near the door but were frozen throughout as it seemed the air con was on (early Dec, coldest day of the year outside). Rest of the place was lovely and toasty so we must have just been unlucky with our seats. Service was good, all very friendly staff, especially entertaining the 2 year old we had with us.

Fab experience, food was delicious and so family friendly. We were a party of 6 adults with 6 kids and the staff were so helpful and friendly with the kids. Highly recommend

Meatballs were very bland, unseasoned, and came in what tasted like jarred marinara sauce. Pizza unspectacular, very similar to fridge Lidl pizzas The pizza chef making the dough had a big rectangular slab of dough which he was cutting into pizza sized pieces, I've never seen a place make dough as on giant sheet, leading to a slightly tough dough. Not well proofed either, also underseasoned. Pizza sauce unsurprisingly more or the same Would not recommend at all, also quite expensive!
