The food isn't 'authentic' German but it does resemble a Brazilian German style food for sure. It is delicious.

The food isn't "authentic" German but it does resemble a Brazilian German style food for sure. It is delicious and definitely a great place to stop and grab a bite. The people are very respectful and can give you great suggestions on what to have. If you are driving by and want to try German or Brazilian food this is a great place to try a mix of both.

A really good option for eating while traveling through RJ. The sausage sandwich and the croquettes are certainly a must try. They have a small playground area that will be welcomed by bored kids after a couple hours on the road. The restaurant is almost always crowded, so be prepared for that.

Great place to stop when travelling into Rio de Janeiro or out of Rio de Janeiro, through BR-040 highway. The snack store contains clean bathrooms, great snacks, soft drinks, fresh juice, etc. Not to mention the butter cookies, "brioche de queijo"- an oldie goodie! There is also a kids area, and it is also pet friendly. I truly recommend. They've been in business for over 40 years!

Great hotdogs and croquettes. Do not miss the pastry with vanilla cream, one of the best that I ever had.

This place is always on my families must do when we take a road trip. We wish there were more restaurants near Niteroi. It is a special treat that we always enjoy.

Wonderful place. A little bit far, only reached by car. But there are other like this in city at the same patterns. The food and dessert is very very delicious. And there is a delicatessen in there to buy chocolate and cookies.

Such a great little gem tucked in on the side of the road. Stopped for some lunch while passing through and heard that this place is known for its “sausage and bread”. This place knocks hotdogs out of the park! If you’re ever travelling through the area, don’t sleep on this place!
