The
building
looks
quite
impressive
from
the
outside.
Red
brick,
the
building
shines
in
the
sun
against
a
blue
sky,
which
looks
very
beautiful.
It
is
the
largest
Protestant
church
in
Düsseldorf
and
has
a
rather
simple
interior.
From
the
entrance
you
first
come
into
the
large
anteroom.
There
is
a
cafe
here
with
a
small
selection
of
cheap
drinks
and
delicious
cakes,
as
well
as
daily
newspapers.
A
wide
variety
of
people
meet
here
in
the
cafe.
Backpackers,
homeless
people,
pensioners,
entrepreneurs,
families
with
and
without
children,
married
couples,
migrants,
photographers,
simply
everyone
who
wants
to
spend
a
short
time
in
this
oasis.
There
is
a
book
market
once
a
month
during
the
winter
season.
The
proceeds
go
to
Doctors
Without
Borders.
You
can
almost
regularly
see
tables
where
language
lessons
are
held
with
migrants.
Every
now
and
then
our
new
fellow
citizens
cook
small
dishes
from
their
country
and
offer
them
at
reasonable
prices.
Very
tasty,
everyone
should
try
it.
The
cafe
also
offers
a
small
lunch
menu
during
the
week.
Once
a
week
there
is
organ
music
with
coffee.
You
can
also
pay
for
a
deferred
coffee
in
addition
to
your
own
coffee,
even
in
winter.
I
think
this
idea
is
great.
A
homeless
person
then
receives
the
coffee
as
a
donation.
The
cafe
is
staffed
by
various
volunteers,
most
of
whom
are
extremely
friendly
and
helpful.
We
look
forward
to
a
short
visit
every
Saturday.
There
is
always
a
small
pig
next
to
the
cash
register
for
donations,
and
next
to
it
there
is
a
note
indicating
who
will
receive
these
donations.
The
objects
are
changed
regularly.
The
toilets
are
bright,
clean
and
tidy.
There
is
a
toilet
for
disabled
people,
the
toilets
are
spacious
and
always
clean
and
tidy.
Various
lectures
are
offered
on
the
bulletin
board.
From
the
entrance
straight
ahead
you
go
through
a
door
into
the
church
interior.
A
bright,
spacious
room
with
stairs
on
both
sides
to
the
gallery.
This
church
has
great
acoustics
and,
in
addition
to
the
church
services,
there
are
also
regularly
very
well-attended
classical
concerts.
Great
architecture,
great
events,
great
choir.
Groundbreaking
project
with
a
cafe
for
nice,
relaxed
gatherings.
