If you want to have ruined day and the whole weekend - book this hotel. We had confirmed booking for the room and when we came to hotel they said that they don't have free rooms and it's not their's problem cause we booked room using Booking. Receptionist was really unpleasant, unprofessional and unfriendly. She can't speak German nor English, she kept saying: Geld is nicht bei mir...

I wouldn't call this a hotel. It look nothing like the photo. There's no bathroom: toilet is outside, sink and shower in the same room with the beds. The room stinks with the smell of cigarette. I even found an insect 🤢 Not to mention that they changed my reservation from a king-sized bed to a 3 single bed hotel room 😡 I would give the hotel 0 star if I can.

They give you about 3 layers of blanket. Only the top one is washed, and the bottom one has dust and hair on it. It's very disgusting. The bathroom can't be flushed properly, and smells bad. When you check in they will ask you to write your time of arrival on a copy of your passport and sign.

The staff could not have been nicer or more accomodating. This is basic accomodation not the Ritz.

Awful hotel. There was horrible situation with check in. It was May 29th. The administrator wanted to withdraw without permission payment for the night without our permission. Although we paid in advance. And given that we arrived late and only for 3 hours, because in the morning we had a bus. The hotel is old and has a terrible smell. Be careful.

The room was cold, the isolation was really bad and the cold air outside flowed from the edges of the window into the room and I had to sleep with berets all the night. l preffered non-smoking rooms but it smelled cigarettes. lt was bad experience for me👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Not a 2.5 star by any stretch. No heat, shared bathroom that is half torn apart. Looks nothing like the pictures. I would not go back.

The hotel had everything that was to be expected, but was barebones. The toilet was not in the room, but across the hallway and shared with other rooms. Breakfast was small but cozy. That said, we arrived late and left early, so YMMV

My stay at Hotel Komet was pleasant. I stayed for one night and on checking in I was given my key and shown to my room. The room was simple and had shampoo and hand soap. It had a shower, a mirror, a wardrobe with clothes hangers. The hotel provides an ironing service too. Rooms were very warm so needed to keep the window open at night. This can at times be quite noisy as the hotel is in the city. Although there is a shower and a washbasin in the room the toilet is shared between everyone on that floor. On appearance: The main entrance, stairwell and hallways could do with some renovation as these seem pretty run down. The lift is to be frank an experience in its own right. If you are claustrophobic then I'd advise using the stairs. (2nd floor for main reception) The restaurant/canteen area has been fully refurbished and decorated and gives a nice fresh feel in the morning. The staff member on the desk even started making breakfast early for me as I had to leave early. Breakfast is served at 0730. Overall hotel komet is a place to lay your head. Located close to the local U stations and amenities. If you are looking for somewhere polished with all the extras then this is not the place for you. However if you are travelling through and stopping for a couple of days on a budget then it easily meets requirements.

I don't gonna rate this place with less stars, because it's not possible by default. Old building, dirty and disgusting, smell of cigarette and more everywhere, insects on the beds, nobody speak English . Probably the worst hotel I ever been in my life....at least ,the bar in front is very good!

Old hotel but great location and staff. There are no modern facilities but price wise very economical and had basic amenities you need for an overnight stay.

I just give a normal rate because of the normal service, but it is cheap and affordable for business trips
