👍👍 We have played two escape games there so far. The legacy of the Moretta family and Poltergeist. Both were really very well constructed and had lots of exciting puzzles that couldn't just be solved with "look for a lock and key". Unfortunately, this is not the case with many other escape games and is... People often mention room, escape, rooms, experience, game, puzzles, great, exciting, time, Code,

We have played two escape games there so far. The legacy of the Moretta family and Poltergeist. Both were really very well constructed and had lots of exciting puzzles that couldn't just be solved with "look for a lock and key". Unfortunately, this is not the case with many other escape games and is of course rather unspectacular in the long term. It's different here! The entire environment is really taken into account here and in both games there were several puzzles, several rooms and also places where you had to be a little more agile. For me personally, it was a very exciting and really fun escape experience that I would like to repeat. Since the first game there, we have also set up a suitable troupe with which we have also prepared suitable costumes and are now already planning the next group cosplay and date. We are definitely happy to be back at the start! Our next mission: The search for the Scepter of Light!

FOOD & DRINKS Isn't this an escape room? Yes but we didn't know when we ended here for some drinks. We thought it was a Café / Bar. The menu therefore isn't that long. A good selection for drinks and some sweets. Even though it was pretty late the banana bread that they still had was really yummy. Pretty moist too. Drinks although nothing special were fine as well. SERVICE The waitress who took care of us was the bomb. She was funny, friendly and super chill. ATMOSPHERE I utterly love this place. Imagine an American bar in the 30's or 40's. Jazz and Blues in the background give the interior design the final touch. I didn't understand the addition of the agent /spy theme at first but it made complete sense after finding out that this is an escape room experience. RATING I can't speak for the escape room adventure but this is also a perfect place to hang out after a dinner and just chill.

We played 2 rooms here so far (Hecate's and the septer of light). The room designs are top notch, i think the rooms are bigger than some apartments in Germany with more connecting rooms than you can imagine. The reason for the 1 missing star is the type of puzzles are not always logic but sometimes 'task based' which are basically doable given enough time. Some riddles seem odd to solve, like putting random things inside somewhere, or shouting random things. Some are basically just finding stuff and assembling them. Maybe a great escape room for beginners and small groups for fun, but for the two of us that enjoy discussing each detail and enjoying the experience together solving puzzles, it felt quite rushed. The guy also told us the Mafia game is now available in English so we will go back to try this next time perhaps ;)

Great variety of Escape Rooms that are well thought all the clues are in plain but also difficult to find there is no easy way of besting these rooms. Especially the Horror Escape Rooms are amazing they actually strike you with fear and the story behind them that you get presented makes you almost feel like your actually in danger. Overall great experience!

I was ax throwing with some friends. At first, I thought it wasn't for me. But I was pleasantly surprised at how funny it was, it was a lot of fun. Definitely going again. Johannes gave us excellent service, explained everything to us really well and of course we felt like AXT professionals.

Yesterday the two of us played the room poltergeist. I have to say we were really thrilled. The puzzles were varied and I still felt like I had never had so much panic. The atmosphere was really great and our poltergeist tink made the whole thing even more authentic. A very big thank you to our game leader Fabian and again to tink. Really a great shop and we definitely won't be with you for the last time.

Absolutely amazing time here the people were incredibly friendly and you can just feel the aura of fun everyone is having to make your experience feel unique enjoyable and natural. All the puzzles were super enjoyable without being too challenging allowing for an experience that is more than worth the money you pay for at a decent length that feels longer than you would assume. The atmosphere was spot on and the prop design is awesome really immersing you in the story they are creating.Thrilled by this experience and would love to do another themed room, love to see what else they could do, magic or misdirection theme would be cool. Also thanks to Neil & Michael and the whole team for being amazing game masters

There were six of us in the Code Agency and played the mission Scepter of Light. The entrance area is already beautifully designed and rich in detail, so that the waiting time until it was our turn passed quickly. Our game leader Patrick welcomed us warmly, explained everything to us well and gave tips at the right points and intervened in the game in his role. You could tell that he really enjoys his job. The debriefing with him was also great. The rooms are beautifully designed and the puzzles are interesting and varied. We all had a lot of fun and were really excited. We can definitely recommend the Code Agency and will come back ourselves to play another mission.

CodeAgency offers an exciting and challenging escape room experience. The puzzles are well thought out and varied, so that teamwork is encouraged. The atmosphere is authentic and the decoration adds to the immersion. The difficulty level is appropriate, making for a challenging yet doable experience. Overall, a recommended activity for friends, families and colleagues looking for an exciting challenge.

The atmosphere in the lobby was very nice. We were greeted warmly and everything was explained to us quickly and clearly. Our game leader, Hagen, introduced us into the room in an atmospheric way. The rooms are decorated very harmoniously and all the puzzles are clear and understandable, even if they are not easy to solve. We also found the concept of high scores in escape rooms extremely stimulating! All in all, highly recommended!

Yesterday there were four of us in this escape room and it was my first time at the Code Agency. I'm absolutely thrilled. 🎉 Our mission was to save the magical world, which is based on fantastic beasts from the Harry Potter world. The mission is beautifully told and very exciting, there are some surprising moments and the puzzles are definitely not too easy. For me it was also the first escape room in which an actor took part. That was unexpected and a bit strange for me at the beginning, but then it was really fun and gave the escape room another plus point. Even after the successful mission, our game master took the time to answer our questions about the room and the puzzles. A thumbs up for this too. 😊 All in all, it was a very successful visit and I will definitely come back again for one of the other rooms. 😊

There were 4 of us in the Poltergeist Escape Room: 100% horror So it's all so damn authentically done, so well thought out and presented, but if it says it's not for the faint of heart, then that's true. We had to send the patient away halfway through the game because my nerves couldn't handle it anymore... After that it was still exciting, but be prepared to often stand in total darkness and experience jump scares in real life! It's definitely very good for people who can experience horror, but I'm too scared of so much horror! The Code Agency did a very good job!

Yesterday we were with you for the first time and the four of us tried out “Poltergeist”. It was the first time for all of us in general. We were very excited. What was particularly cool here was that you didn't just have to solve the puzzles in one room but also crossed several rooms. All the rooms were well decorated thematically, even if a lot of things weren't immediately visible in the dark :D. The various elements, such as crawling through a hallway, were particularly intense and increased the scary factor. Special thanks also go to our game leaders Sam and Fabian! We will definitely come by again.

We played Poltergeist as a group of four and it was by far the best escape room I've ever visited, and there were a lot of them. So much adrenaline and excitement added to the spooky atmosphere even more. Lots of surprises await you here. I particularly liked the fact that the game extends over several rooms and that, for example, corridors that you had previously walked through suddenly disappear and you lose your orientation 😅 the team leader, Ms. Batool, gave us the story and background of the game with so much passion brought us close and perfectly guided us through the game with their panicked, frightening calls and requests. Our poltergeist Matheus always caught us and scared us so well, my soul left my body a few times 😅 There is also a great cafe in the building, so we were able to fortify ourselves with some delicious drinks and food before the game. Very great team and atmosphere. We had an unforgettable, spooky evening and would love to come back to let you drive us crazy 😂😂😟 thank you very much 🥰😍

A very nice and well designed escape room. I would just like the website to state a little more clearly which rooms are designed according to the “high score principle” etc.… Otherwise great. Friendly staff!

I can only recommend the location! 1. The story was captivating, interesting and you just want to repeat the experience. 2. The game master Octavian has also made the entire adventure even more exciting and funnier. 3. The adventure lasted over 1 hour, but because we had so much fun, the experience felt like we were only there for 20 minutes. 4. The individual rooms were so perfectly adapted to the era that you felt like you were a person back then. And that's why I gave this number of stars! It was the Börner!

My three friends and I have experienced many, many escape rooms together, and we all agree that the Code Agency Düsseldorf is the best place we've ever visited. The rooms are filled with lots of details, a surprising variety of puzzles and, although we felt challenged, no one got too frustrated. We've now done three rooms at this location (everything except the scary ones because I'm too chicken), and they were all consistently excellent. A big highlight for us was our most recent visit: Hekates Tears. If you have a lot of experience with escape room puzzles, the high-score theme is a really exciting twist. In particular, our room-master Moss was a delight and went the extra mile to make it a really great experience for us. (As a side note, as a multi-lingual group, we always do our escape rooms in English. The Code Agency is one of the most English-friendly establishments we've found.) Thanks for all the fun!

My friends and I had the pleasure of doing the Poltergeist escape room over the weekend and we can't stop talking about how much fun we had. I've done two escape rooms in Las Vegas, and had a great time, but they do not even compare to The Code Agency. From the set design, to the puzzles, to the acting.. it was all top tier! We can't wait to come again and do another one. And shoutout to our guide Carsten for a stellar performance and for helping to make this experience one we will never forget!

Today the three of us played the room “Saving the Magical World” and we were thrilled. The setting was very beautiful with lots of little details. The puzzles were consistent and neither too easy nor too challenging. The story, based on “fantastic beasts”, was also fun and understandable even without prior knowledge. Our game master guided us perfectly through the room and gave just the right amount of hints. As always with The Code Agency, we had a lot of fun and are completely satisfied.

Loved the experience with Michael and Aynsley they were great at the acting and it was really smooth the way we entered the game! I recommend The Poltergeist if you want to feel stressful while solving the puzzles! I have to comeback for sure!

The Code Agency Escape room is a perfect day out for a small or large group of friends or family. With incredible staff which are welcoming and attentive, the atmosphere of the café/escape room is lovely. During the course of two days, me and two friends attended two escape rooms. Each completely different from one another. The architecture of each room was beautiful. Small details which made each location feel authentic as well as believable. Our two game masters Neil for day one and Michael for day two showed how much they love their jobs and made the experience amazing. Integrating the hints into the narrative never broke the illusion of the world that was crafted. I loved the fact that we were able to escape through just being ushered along. It made the experience way more fun for everyone. I have nothing wrong to say about my experience. I loved it.

I can only recommend it ! The rooms were really decorated and you could really feel the theme. We had a lot of fun solving the puzzles together. (The best escape room I've been in so far)
