Centrally located. Simple but super clean. Boss hardly speaks German, but is very nice and helpful. Breakfast good. Everything is worth the price.

The 2 young employees, with whom we came into contact most, are very friendly and were ready quickly and with a broad smile to explain, help, welcome us every time, etc. Absolutely nothing but good things about them. For us, they are at the top of the long list that we can make in the meantime. This made the stay personal but also respectful. The room was okay. Not super big but certainly big enough. Kettle, 2 glasses and 2 cups, coffee and tea and a bottle of water were ready on the desk. TV and WiFi connection available. Not a negative word in terms of hygiene, it's always nice to come back to a freshly scented room. The bathroom is also well maintained and has everything you need, bathing caps, toothpaste, toothbrush, soap, shower gel, slippers, 2 large towels, 2 small ones, hairdryer and a bath mat. This was also taken care of during the daily freshening up. The beds are great. My partner and I each have different ideas about mattresses, but we agreed on this. Neither he nor I had anything to say about it. The breakfast buffet is extensive and fresh, and is sufficiently replenished. The wishes of the guests are taken into account. No noise from adjacent rooms, parking in front of the door is a plus. The location is ideal. Quiet but still close to everything. Ideal starting point to Düsseldorf, Essen, Gelsenkirchen, ... . They will definitely see us again, partly thanks to the staff.

A small-scale hotel after my own heart. Very friendly owners. You immediately feel welcome. The room and bathroom are not very spacious, but everything is very tidy, the heating was on so it was nice to come in after a chilly day. The breakfast is very nice and has a wide choice. Plus point: parking space and again very hospitable

Inexpensive hotel halfway between Duisburg and Düsseldorf main station. You can stay here for a night or a weekend. From Angermund train station it is about a 300m walk through a quiet residential area. From what it looks like there, it was thoroughly renovated a few years ago. The rooms (like the rest of the house) are small, but modern and clean. Only the doors made of cheap pressed chipboard disturb the picture. They also don't block out the noises from the hallway well. But the walls are at least “real” walls and not plasterboard. The sanitary facilities are a bit strangely distributed. Instead of a bathroom there is a toilet with a shower. The sink is in the room next to the bed. But that didn't bother me. The breakfast is good, but nothing special. I don't really know what to think of the staff. That's nice, but he doesn't speak German or hides it successfully. You are consistently spoken to in English. That doesn't actually work at all.

Very helpful staff, family atmosphere, we were driven to the S-Bahn station because we were late! Super sweet👍😄
