During our 3 week trip we parked our car at Airparks. With prior online booking, parking only cost around €65. The price includes a shuttle service to and from the airport, which is available day and night after telephone consultation. The journey only takes 5 to 10 minutes. You should plan a small tip of 2 to 3 euros per trip. Upon our return, we were given jump-start assistance at no additional cost.

You can actually give this parking lot no star at all. Because of being monitored. You could simply park your car on the street, it would be just as safe and cheaper. We were just really happy that there were no scratches on the car. But it could have been good given the tight parking spaces. Neither the transfer from the parking lot to the airport nor from the airport to the parking lot worked. When we arrived early in the morning (with registration) there were already around 30 other travelers who were picked up in a van that was much too small. After waiting for 20 minutes (it would definitely have taken another 30 minutes before we could get a ride), we called a taxi out of necessity and just made it to the airport on time. After the vacation, I called Airparks twice by phone (each time they said someone would be there in a few minutes), after about 45 minutes of waiting in the cold, I took a taxi again because no one came to pick me up. Conclusion: the taxi ride costs €7 (shared a taxi with other travelers) and the return trip costs €13, not much cheaper than parking directly at the airport.

We had our car parked there for 4 days. Everything worked smoothly on the way there. We arrived early in the morning, scanned the code at the entrance and looked for a free parking space. Even though the parking spaces are quite small, we found what we were looking for quickly and were lucky that a driver was there and drove us over. The driver was super friendly and in a good mood. Unfortunately, on the way back we caught a disastrous driver. Called, driver had just left the airport, we had to wait a few minutes. No problem, after 25 minutes the driver came and didn't want to take us anymore because the car was full. He then also assumed that we hadn't called, but he didn't want to see the call history on my cell phone either. After we briefly told the driver our opinion, he gave us a lift (two seats were still free at the front, he probably didn't want anyone sitting next to him). When we wanted to buckle up he said “you don’t need to, it’s just a 2 minute drive”. The driving style was terrible, red lights were skilfully overlooked, but we still arrived safely after 7 minutes. We have never had such bad experiences with other parking providers, including in Düsseldorf, so next time we will avoid this parking lot and use the old ones.
