Beautiful interiors with good acoustics and easy public transport. The Meliá hotel is just nearby. Students (including foreign) get a 50 percent discount while pupil tickets (I assume for primary school students) cost 7 euro . A lovely way to spend an evening in Dusseldorf.

A unique concert venue in what used to be a planetarium. In spite of it's large capacity (about 1800 listeners), one never feels far from the stage and gets to feel the concert from up close. A must.

Even seated at the corner of the rang, the acoustics of the music and view of the architecture were still fascinating. I arrived late and couldn’t came in the hall for the first half, but all around the building, at the bar, in the hall, even in the toilet, the live audio system made my late arrival not too pitiful!

I like the symphonic orchestra of Tonhalle Düsseldorf and Adam Fischer as a conductor. On top, famous soloists, performers and orchestras are also often visiting. In general, I find concert programs nicely selected and interesting. The acoustics is super as well.

Acoustically impressive. Architecturally, simply beautiful. Guaranteed great performances. Parking by the river costs 5€ for the whole show. You can pay before the show starts and avoid queues.

Don’t attempt to park nearby on an event day. The only on-site parking here is for the handicapped. If you absolutely must then the parking is along the harbour- Rheinterasse Parking.. It’s a very long parking area with plenty of spots available. Make sure to prepay otherwise plan to get stuck for hours. The venue is beautiful- makes you feel like you’re at an important affair. Design and architecture is immaculate with beautiful accessible wings to your seating area. Once seated you can’t get up during the show unless you’re willing to disturb the whole row of audiences. I have to although say that I wasn’t struck by any eyebrow raising sound quality as I expected but it was good enough. Probably a live orchestra would a decider for that. During breaks they only serve bretzels, alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. Cash only. Restaurant on the other side does accept cards and offers a bit more than bretzels. Queues for toilets are exceptionally long. Cloakrooms are free.

Spectacular concert venue. The Venue is an old planetarium, so it's got a dome with projected visuals. A must visit for live performances. I didn't see any bar.

We have been couple of times there! Huge building love it. The shows were great! Only the parking was a bit difficult especially when the weather is good as many people parked already all around!

Good place. I share some pics from Yan Tiersen. Not too big... good acoustics and in general you have a reasonable view from the scenery from all places. Prices in general are reasonable and parking in the river also.

An amazing building, perfectly built for concerts. Sound is great, seats are comfortable. Jackets are not allowed inside but there is a free coat check. Drinks in the lobby are expensive (4 Euro for a bottle of beer, 7 Euro for a glass of white wine)

Beautiful place with great interior and good acoustic - especially for orchestra music. Listening to soprano would probably give you shivers. It is convenient that tickets can be bought online. Students normally get a discount. There is a place where you can leave jackets for free. The only minus is the price of drinks. Small glass of sparkling wine (0,2 l) costs 6€.

Interesting concert hall that is designed to appear suspended in a large inverted cone. Building and finishings are dated. Acoustics are decent. Not awful but not the best. This is the top place to see an orchestral concert in Dusseldorf.
