We usually get chicken bowl and falafel sandwich. I love it. They prepare very quickly and tastiest chicken over rice you can have. Plus the advantage is that you get it here in East Brunswick and not have to go to NYC to get the same taste. Highly recommend for quick takeaway for lunch or dinner. Awesome taste and same good old quality you expect from Halal guys from midtown.

The Halal Guys at EastBrunswick- as the name mentioned, we find comfort and mental peace while shopping there. We enjoyed their delicious menu several times and found it worth always. The serving team is always awesome, and they receive us with hospitality and smiles ❤️ As per taste and price, the Halal Guys is well known, and we appreciate their service. We usually like to taste the combo platter, falafel, and sausage 😋 We hope you will enjoy too!

We come here for dinner almost once a month. We always get the gyro n rice platter. The gyro is beef just so u know. The overload of the white sauce enhances the taste and is a must. As a PSA, Please don’t put bbq sauce 😜. The hot sauce is hot af so please beware. I like to sweat while I eat so a packet n half of hot sauce is what I need 🥵🤷🏽‍♂️. I find the chicken bland but to each their own. Having eaten at the original 53rd n 6th, it’s good to get your halal fix in the burbs.

Very conveniently located within a big strip mall. I always like the quality of halal guys . And it’s not insanely expensive . Chicken over rice costs about 12.5$ … and u can get extra proteins if required. .. felafel was good .. nice and crispy . Lots of parking outside . Very quick billing and good customer service . Not sure why the lamb platter was removed from the menu . With chicken and beef 🥩, options are less … overall it’s a good place for quality Mediterranean food …

Their food is ALWAYS fire but the new updated App for points is terrible. I lost so many rewards because of it. Then I forget to put my receipt code in to get points, but if you wait to long it expire I think in a week. I miss the old App it was faster and better in my opinion.

Staff was super friendly. I arrived at the beginning of lunch rush and the staff were super patient. They confirmed my order and it was complete in less than 2 minutes. Got a braised lamb and chicken platter. It was amazing and worth it. Definitely holds up to the platters I remember getting from the carts.

I had a fantastic experience with the manager! Despite the time crunch, he was able to accommodate a large order for 115 people in under 30 minutes. Not only was he efficient, but he was also incredibly polite and helpful throughout the entire process. I cannot thank him enough for his exceptional service and making the ordering experience seamless.

The franchise that started it all, Halal Guys has come a long way from just a pop up in NY to having multiple physical locations. Honestly Halal Guys has a special place in my heart, the fact that it's open late at night makes it so good on those late night trips. Rice is good and flavorful, the pita bread is soft and fluffy, the meats are really good. Overall you can't go wrong with Halal Guys, cheap good food open late night.

Been going here for a while now. The platters are always delicious. I have yet to have a gyro but I imagine they are just as good. Glad they franchised and made this a chain so I can get it whenever I want and not have to go up to NYC.

I have been comming to this spot in particular for the past few months after my first experience blew my taste buds out of the water. The food is always consistent in its quantity and quality as well as the staff being extremely accommodating and friendly. Mahmoud has made my platter countless times and is very attentive to each independent order. Nikki, who is usually the cashier when I go, has a great smile and attitude when it comes to taking care of the payment and there wishes to “have a good rest of your day and to enjoy one’s food” will always leave you feeling welcomed back on your planned return. This has been My favorite spot since I started comming here and will continue to come back on days I don’t want to cook to enjoy the great quality of food as well as to see the friendly staff that always welcomes me back with a smile! One of my top favorite food places to go and I can not wait to be back !

Wrong order Received ! Stay away from the store. 😮😱😡 Be advised to check food before leaving the store. They put 2 falafel insted of 1 falafel and 1 chicken. Food quality is not fresh as it used to be. This is not the 1st time. Called the store when I opened 1hr away from the store they told me to stop by to get the chicken instead of refund. I highly doubt about quality and 😠honesty of the store.

Love this place but you need to bring back the Sizzling Chicken. It was the best item on the menu. No one really cares about falafels with honey and sriracha. Bring back the Sizzling Chicken!

My boyfriend and I just moved to the area and wanted to try it out, for a first impression I think they have great staff and knew how to welcome us in. Food was great and I will definitely be back here again!

Worst experience, chicken was not juicy. Rice was cold. Portions was very very less for the price they took . Looks like I just paid $13 for only lettuce and tomatoes and the serving lady was very rude. She was not interested in giving food. I even had to ask to pita bread. Very bad experience. If you don't want to give food to customers then stop selling them and keep themselves. We are not asking for free food. Totally disappointed. Will never try again.

Best Halal Guys location in the Edison area. Service is amazing, food is FANTASTIC and massive servings for the price. I suggest you get Gyro or combo platter and get pita bread extra because their meat servings are so big. All very affordable and under $13 for about 2000 calories of food.

I always visit this place. Great staff and everything is done very quickly. The food tastes exactly like it does in NY. I went to Canada a few days ago and visited the Toronto store, and was blown away. It tastes just as good as it does here, in East Brunswick. I'm glad they have locations all around the world. Again, the food is great and worth the money.

Delicious food, excellent customer service. I don't feel embarrassed saying I love what New Yorkers call "street meat". But this is no ordinary meat; their chicken and lamb with rice and salad with a healthy dose of their phenomenal white sauce is the perfect pick me up on a good bad or indifferent day. Can't wait to go back for a great meal.

Great food and service. Thoroughly enjoyed. If you get the hot sauce go easy on it.

Falafels are my favorite food ever on the planet and I’m picky about em. And they were amazing the picture shows how good it was it’s gone

Today, we got 2 chicken over rice platter from this Halal Guys restaurant, taste was not good, texture was completely missing. And the amount was very less at the price they charged. I was traveling from New York to Pennsylvania and thought to try Halal Guys and found this restaurant on the way. They are running the shop on the brand name, not on quality of food. I will not go again there and will not recommend if you fond of good food.

Halal guys were about to close and we wanted to try the limited edition lamb. They said they needed to cook it and it was only enough for 2 people, so we accepted that. When we got to the store, they had cooked a batch for both me and my brother and even threw in a cookie on the house! I came to visit from Texas and I'm really happy to see the wonderful service these guys have provided. Keep being awesome!

Wow, I am so amazed with this food! I'm an American woman of Italian heritage and this is my first time trying Egyptian cuisine, after hearing about it for many years. I am so blown away. I ordered through Doordash and tried the chicken shawarma & falafel platter. Let me just say, I'm a big fan of spices and this dish was full of them. The chicken was cooked perfectly, the rice was so delicious and the falafel was nice and sweet, almost like a plantain. The tomatoes, lettuce and bread were also very fresh and perfectly complimentary to the meal. Thank you so much for giving me this yummy meal and making it with love. I could feel the energy coming from it and I actually finished the entire platter, despite suffering from a very low appetite. I highly recommend this place to anyone who has maybe been unsure of trying culturally different food. You're not going to regret it!

Great spot for Halal. $13 Dinner platter can be enough for 2 meals or a meal and snack. Service is always great and the food is always, staff is very friendly. Can get busy during during meal time but the line moves along decently. Remember/Warning: the hot sauce is very hot, be careful how much you ask for!

I stopped going to Halal guys long back. Their food is ok but their portions are very less. They fill half of the platter with lettuce and tomatoes only. Their prices are also high compared to other competitors. Their staffs are also not much friendly if you ask more they seem to be not happy they charge extra for everything. They should learn from competitors how they provide the platter. First, they put the rice, chicken, and then salad on top of it which makes a good portion and also in less money than them at least it fills the tummy. Their quality is also better. Others platter average around $10 with a good portion. But theirs is $14.

Owner accommodated me so well. Nice, sterile atmosphere. Hypnotically Caucasian. The chocolate milk is strikingly underpriced and at the same time very easy to drink: another one of Gods little tests. Overall 5 stars ✨!

When I visited this place I walked in with massive expectations of the finest food Muslims can eat. However, when I was greeted by the nice Muslim worker, he quickly prepared my poorly wrapped beef gyro and beef platter. I watch in awe as I watch this man express his carefully honed skills. He slaps on the meat with careful precision. His hands rough, but ever so delicate enough to craft such a beautiful wrap. Although it was an improper fold technique, the food still came out deliciously scrumptious. Overall pretty decent would recommend to anyone looking to brown themselves

I went to the restaurant location in East Brunswick with my friend. All staff was so kind, Bonnie was especially polite and cheerful! We sat at a table for hours chatting and catching up over some good food! Bonnie prepared fresh chicken for my to go order as well and treated us to some cookies! Will definitely recommend and return!
