One of my family's favorite authentic Mexican restaurants!!!!

Best chorizo burrito and birria tacos I’ve had. Very authentic.

Food was delicious and filling, I only ate 2 tacos but they come with 3. I feel like the beans and rice could have more flavor. I still recommend the authentic taste. It have a nice atmosphere inside and decorations.

Love this spot... I've been there like 10 times and never disappointed. The service is great too. 👍🏼

Food was great and large portions. Decor is beautiful. This is a great restaurant for everyday people who want upscale food. We went for my wife's birthday lunch and we loved it...you must go!!!!

The wife and I wanted to give this place a shot as we have driven past it a few times and have seen good google reviews. We were served chips, with a refried bean salsa and green salsa. Both excellent. Their homemade guacamole was also very good. We ordered our meals and were so happy with the not only the taste but the size. My burrito was huge. Filled with meat and cheese. Only thing I wish I did was cover it in some sort of salsa which I saw the table next to me do. Do I think this place is a 5/5, probably not. More so like a 4.5 but definitely not a 4! Excited to go back and try a few other things on their menu.

Came with a friend for early dinner. The service was good. Everyone was very nice. We were seated quickly and the food was delicious. Would come back if I'm in the area again.

My husband and I stopped at this place for lunch and we were impressed from the moment we walked in. The decor is so beautiful and authentic. The service was so fast and on point. The server took out orders and our food came out so fast. He also kept refreshing our hot sauce and checking in on us without being prompted. Food was AMAZING and came out hot. I 1000000% recommend this place. We enjoyed our food so much!

First time here! GREAT SERVICE !!! Amazing food ! We sat outside because the inside was full and it was a beautiful day so we def loved they had the outdoor seating. We Ordered horchata as drinks . The large is $6.50 def worth the price ! The tortillas in the beginning were so fresh and crispy. We couldn’t stop eating them. Had the carne asada sopes. The tortilla masa was cooked well. The meat was very flavorful. Def fulled me up with the large horchata but I had leftovers which was soo good . My friend ordered the carne asada torta it was HUGE and she said it taste so good. We both got full. Together we spent $42.00 I would def take that ride for some good Mexican food. They were so friendly which is another reason we loved it. So grateful to have had visited this restaurant after seeing it on tiktok. Def come check them out !! 5 STARS!!!!

I LOVE this place. I always go for their pozole but today I tried their birria tacos and I LOVE them even more. They have cheese at the bottom, they aren’t gamey tasting, simply delicious. They have outdoor dinning as well. Oh and I could drink their salsa verde. Highly recommended.

Best Mexican restaurant I’ve ever been to. Everything is amazing. This genre is so weak in NJ, but this place is the real deal. You know the place is authentic when you see actual Mexicans coming here regularly. Great staff too, very welcoming and warm.

First time here, but not our last! The restaurant is nice and comfy, guacamole was delicious and the service is exceptional! Duck and Al pastor tacos were AMAZING! We will be back for dinner, real soon!

In what Mexican world is this a Chalupa I’m very upset looked forward to chalupas if I wasn’t Mexican and oblivious to fact that that Chulo as are fried flour tortillas then it would be “ok” but man true disappointment even the person taking my order was oblivious and I spoke in Spanish. Meat was good but very dissatisfied

the food was amazing. we ordered the birria tacos. portions were large and everything was nicely priced. you have to order the guacamole with the chips. the ambiance is really nice. it gets really busy at times but 100% worth the wait.

Ordered takeout from here once and the food was delicious! The rice was very well seasoned and the enchiladas I ordered were really good. I was skeptical about the price at first but the portion size is massive so it totally makes up for it. Also the inside restaurant area is really nice. It's colorful, calming, and a great atmosphere to casually enjoy food with people. Would definitely come back here

Excellent food and service. I tried pozole and it was really good, my 5 year old also loved it he had the burrito and kept mentioning that he loved the flavor. Good stuff :)

Birria!!!!!!!!! I would highly recommend the quesabirria tacos. Best tacos I've had in a very long time.

We went here tonight for my father’s birthday and the experience overall was wonderful. The staff were so kind and welcoming, our waitress was friendly and engaging, and the food was absolutely delicious! I can’t wait to go back and try more stuff off the menu. Also the tres leches was some of the best I’ve ever had 🤤

The food is really good. Would have enjoyed more chips and salsa. Very Authentic though...I had Chilliquilles with Carne and over easy eggs...amazing food. Service was a little slow and no real chips and salsa at the start.

I'll start with saying that the food is amazing, authentic Mexican cuisine. However the food you order may not be the food you get. I asked for a chicken burrito... I got a steak burrito. Not what I wanted, but it was still good. The service is just atrocious though. It takes forever to get someone to come to you and then they give you the wrong thing (which has happened several times). It's always a tough choice if it's worth it to go or not. Is it worth the service?

First time eating here and I'm not gonna lie it was pretty good! The chips and salsa were fresh and crunchy-- the salsa Verde was delicious, it's definitely homemade. I ordered the bistec la Mexicana. The steak was fresh and soft, not chewy or anything. I plan on coming back to try more dishes.

Very good food. Took my wife for the first time and it was better then other Mexican places we've enjoyed in the past.

I don’t recommend this place. Service is terribly slow. You literally have to wait over an hour for your food when dining in because they’re busy with takeout orders and getting orders ready for larger tables. The mole sauce is disgusting. Also only the first round of chips and bean dip is free.

Delicious food!! Absolutely delicious! I've been to many mexican restaurants and none of them have made food as good and flavorful as La China Poblana! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for authentic and amazing mexican food!

I really enjoyed this place. The positive reviews were right on target. The food is authentic and delicious. We had the chicken cholupas and chorizo tacos as the main dishes. Both were excellent. The guacamole was crazy delicious. I loved the way the dining area was decorated. Bright and colorful. The female server was very sweet and friendly. She told us that sometimes there's a two hour wait for a table. The portions were just enough. Don't let the outside fool you like it did to me. Definitely try this place if you like Mexican food.
