Aloha my people; so I been wanting to try this place for some time now and finally had a chance with visiting friends from out of town. The place is a bit smaller than I thought with only seating up stairs for about 25 people , and down stairs only seating is at the bar table and more bar stool type seating across from the bar. The place is very modern and upscale. The food is quiet different in flavor and you need to have an open taste buds and mind. We did .any small plates and pupus... and it was damn good. For the most part the wait staff was great , I will say I like a wait person that knows the bar as well as the food and that didn't happen. Needs refinement training for the wait staff but they were super helpful and gracious. You can find enty of parking in the parking lots around the block.

Fantastic dining away from the busy streets of Waikiki. Service was amazing, and the food even better. The mezcal margarita in particular was the perfect start to the meal. All in all our entire party left full, and wanting to come back again tomorrow.

The food is fantastic and delicious. A bit pricey, but still worth it. Great atmosphere and vibes. Our server was amazing. Had a great dinner.

Visited today brunch. Excellent "Loco Moco", and feels for the first time to eat "NIDIA's totillia". And I left my wallet in this restaurant, I was panic in the afternoon. The owner(or staff) called me that he find my wallet inside the restaurant. My wife and I rushed to here, and get back my wallet. There was all the money for our entire trip. Everything was perfect, additionally my lost wallet. Thank you again, hope your restaurant will be the best in the Hawai'i!🌈

Cocktails are good, but the dinner menu is severely overpriced both for quality and quantity of the food. $45 for a piece of salmon with plain white rice and 5 pieces of asparagus is a joke, as is $18 for 3 pieces of shrimp with a bit of salad. Other menu items looked similar, the only one that was possibly worth the price were the ribs. Service was fine, but cannot compensate for the disappointing food. We will not be back.

The surfing pig is an intimate atmosphere with amazing drinks. The staff was not only friendly but knowledgeable about the menu. I wish I had liked this place more. The food was average. The descriptions of the food on the menu created some disappointment after actually experiencing it. For instance the Mac n cheese looked and smelled amazing but lacked in flavor and with bacon in it I expected more of a burst of taste from the cheese and bacon. Again ambience and presentation were both high star earners but the food itself left a lot to be desired.

TL;DR: We stop by for their Truffle Fries. It was a great time. My girlfriend was craving some Truffle fries, and this was the only one we could find. Overall, the fries were not a disappointment. We had the Truffle Fries from MonkeyPod in Maui, and it was way better. The aroma of Truffle always elevates the dish to another level. We got our self a bottle of Rosie as well. I do like the ambient the restaurant offers. Our server was excellent. We wish to be able to go back and try the entrees. Also, street parking is your only choice. I booked the reservation a day before and had no issues getting a table for two.

I have been here twice, both times near closing, and both times they were very accommodating. It seems like this place may be a bit of a secret nestled in the heart of Kaimuki, but they have great food and cocktails. I am not usually much of a burger fan but their burger here is amazing, so good in fact that I was compelled to order it again the second time I visited. I will have to try to make it back during normal hours and try some more of the menu, but in my limited experience, this a place worth visiting.

The absolute best experience!!! Service and Fine Dining set in a welcoming atmosphere. Jessica is the very best...literally! From the time you enter until you depart you'll enjoy every moment. Top Notch, Five Star Fare packaged and presented in the most charming way. You MUST visit The Surfing Pig when visiting Honolulu. You won't be disappointed.

We’ve been twice and they don’t disappoint. Drinks are AMAZING, service is always good and the food is good as well. Amazing place to have brunch. Highly recommend!

My friend and I went late afternoon on a Sunday for brunch. No wait to sit, but they ran out of eggs. Even with what we could order it was delicious! I’ll have to come back earlier in the day because I still want to try to omelet or Benedict! Staff was so accommodating and friendly. They apologized about running out of eggs and mentioned the shipment was coming later in the day…so I guess just bad timing. Still giving 5 stars.

We stumbled upon this great spot for brunch, they have a great drink menu with smoked cocktails. The brunch menu was so good it was hard to decide. Chicken and waffles did NOT disappoint! I think I made a great choice to start the new year. Also the prices seemed very affordable for the quality we received! Mahalo

The host and server were friendly and the food was delicious. I enjoyed the SP Egg Benedicts. The pork had great balance of flavor.

The food was delicious here! Service is a bit slow and sometimes we had to ask 2-3 times before we got something. The OBB is giant and much easier to eat if you deconstruct it or take out a patty. The island pork chop has a delicious sauce + the mashed sweet potatoes, but like most pork chops, the center is dry. The pasta was creamy and meshed well with the garlic bread that came with it. The truffle fries were awesome and had a lot so definitely share it as a table. The bbq mac and cheese is also a must! First time where you can taste the meat over the Mac and cheese flavor and I loved the texture of the pork. To finish the meal, the basque cheesecake with the guava sauce was so good too.

STREET TACOS $20.00 Crispy beer battered fresh fish, slaw pickled red onions, kono's award-winning kalua pork, raw onion, crispy beer battered shrimp, slaw, pico de gallo and citrus aioli, all topped with sour cream and fresh cilantro, TRUFFLE FRIES $13.50 Truffle oil, shaved parmesan, chicharron and fresh herb mix, and Macadamia Nut Bread Pudding for the win! The staff graciously took out the Kalua Pork from my street tacos and gave me two fish & one shrimp taco. The Kono sauces were all very tasty but not necessary, the fish & shrimp had plenty of flavor alone. Everyone run the host to the bartenders were awesome and friendly! Definitely worth a visit and I’ll be back for brunch!

Such killer pork! Highly recommend the Sirachi fried rice, sliders with taro buns, and Mac and cheese plates. We had the smoking pig special cocktail and the pig in the pasture which were amazingly executed. I would tell my friends and family to come here to try pork at is unique best There is parking without meters nearby, else bring coins. Shout out to our server ego who was also top notch!

Server Phoebe was great. She knew her stuff and the food quality was excellent. Shared all foods in the images between 3 people(more than enough). Phoebe checked up on us and gave us water refills and boxes. Chef specials were all very good.

The chicken and waffles i had at brunch were good! I ate every last bite of it. My friend enjoyed her street tacos. The waitress was nice and attentive. I would def come back to try more food. The parking lot nearby was pretty cheap, only $1.50 for the hr we were there.

This place is awesome....the food is great, and the service is splendid. The only problem is parking, but there are meter parking on the other side....highly recommend getting the OBB with the truffle fries....

Hannah, our greeter/host, was spectacular from the get-go. Offered amazing recommendations for my friends and I to enjoy during our stay. The food was exceptional! Price point is a little higher than most but worth the splurge. Drinks are mixed well and go great with any brunch item.

I ordered online from this place in June 2021. When I arrived at the venue to pick up my order, I was told to "wait outside" as if I was trash or something (yes, we were still in the pandemic but there were many people inside, especially at the bar which is towards the front of the restaurant). When the hostess summoned me from outside to retrieve my order, I noticed it was four pieces of leaves and some tiny pieces of raw fish. I ordered the Kampachi Carpaccio and the cost was over $21.00 with the tip included. Upon receipt of my food, I expressed that it was not what I expected, specifically there was not enough food for a meal. Unbeknownst to me at the time, apparently it is not considered a main dish. When I expressed my displeasure to the hostess and asked to buy a new meal and return the one I just received (and did not eat), she said she had to ask the manager. She then proceeded to whisper to me that when she started, she was also shocked at how small the food was, specifically citing that particular dish. When the manager came, she offered to comp me fries if I wanted to order something else. I explained I did not want the food (like if a meal comes while you are dining in and you are dissatisfied so you ask for a different dish). She spoke with a more senior manager who decided that the meal I purchased could not be returned. I am leaving one star because of being made to wait outside like I did not belong in the restaurant and because this is the first restaurant I have ever been to where a paying customer is not able to return a meal (upon immediate receipt of it) they did not like. I will not recommend this place to anyone.

A little Brooklyn meets Hawaii. Come for the smoked cocktails, stay for the ribs and sliders. Food was great! Fun gem a bit off the beaten path. Don’t miss it!

Inconsistent. Apps were great. Food was ok. Drink that took forever (Piggy Bank) was watery. Was never offered dessert because they wanted to close up.

We had the prix fix meal since everything sounded so good. This place didn't disappoint! The dishes were full size and meant for 4. By the first two dishes, we were full, but of course we had to try a little of everything.
