Absolutely disgusted. After driving 12 hours with 4 kids we stopped to get a room. Went in & immediately saw bed bugs crawling EVERYWHERE. The lady at the front dest was hesitant about giving us a refund but did. Cigarette holes in the blankets, dirty sheets, poop smeared on the wall, absolutely nasty & I wish I could give 0 stars.

Clean rooms, easy check in, and great location. I have to admit I was kinda scared after I booked and started reading the reviews but I actually had a great experience and will stay again when in Chattanooga. I will also be recommending to our employees when they are in the area.

I was there on 9/19/22 and after reading the reviews I was scared to stay there and nervous when we pulled up to check in at 12am. The reviews I read weren't good at all so I was already feeling like I made a mistake. I was actually pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Staff were nice and they have recently renovated rooms that were not bad at all. I travel for work and been to all types of hotels and this is definitely not the worse one. Maybe it was the renovated room that made our stay lovely or the sweet kind lady who checked us in but it was not bad at all.

Decent budget hotel. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Decor is definitely in need of an upgrade to what customers expect from a Wyndham property. Check in was fast and efficient. The staff already had the receipt and room key ready upon arrival. :) The hvac worked as expected and kept the room comfortable. The toilet did constantly run so I had to turn off the water supply when we went to bed. (Rm 255) . The hot water felt like it came directly from the surface of the sun, which I appreciated but not everyone likes it that hot. The shower head was high enough I didn't have to squat to get under it. That's a plus in my book as well. No elevator either, or at least I didn't see one, but it's only a two story hotel. No breakfast either, but to be fair there wasn't a lot of room in the lobby for breakfast anyway, so those people who are leaving bad reviews due to no breakfast being available would have probably left a bad review anyway. Just know before you book it there's no elevator and you're probably not going to get a "continental breakfast", but there's a Waffle House, Cracker Barrel, and Dunkin' all within walking distance. Overall a good nights sleep for the $$ we spent just passing through Chattanooga.

2 star hotel deserves a 2 star rating. Room says non-smoking but smells like smoke. The room had bugs, the door frame in the bathroom was busted to pieces causing the bathroom door not to shut properly, and the heater/ac unit inside the room sounds like it’s about to blow up. The floors are filthy and sticky feeling. The only reason I chose this place was because it was several hundred dollars cheaper than the hotels around Erlanger Hospital where a family member is currently in the ICU. DO NOT STAY HERE! It’s a complete waste of money.

People sitting in cars outside day and night. Blood on the toilet set. Beds hard. Covers nasty. And rude people working here really poor breakfast. Room had a bad smell. I was sick the hole time I was in the room . Dark room. Plugs on lamp don't work. Plug on wall didn't work.

Motel is very old. Bedspreads were old and mine had cigarette burns and it was a non smoking room. Floors were nice and so was the shower inside. But I did see drug activity on the premises towards the back of motel. Be careful

We found a coupon in a pamphlet at a rest stop and called, no issue with the great low price. Arrived late after a long day of travel and was greeted with a friendly staff.. Not the most attractive location but that was not what we needed at the time .. room was clean quiet and recently had been remodeled. Breakfast was was enough to get us on the road with no problems and we will definitely stay again!

We got in around 8:30pm and was given a room. When we got to the room there was men's underwear on the edge of the box spring and mattress. To me that means the room had not been properly cleaned. The maintenance man came and removed the underwear. He was very nice and understanding. We asked for another room. The blankets on the bed are stained and the AC in this room doesn't cool the room. Wasn't offered a discount or anything. I won't stay here again.

The room looks nice and clean, but it has an odd smell. It's musty with a hint of smoke odor like someone smoked in it in the past. I also learned the floor is filthy...got in the shower and a lot of dirt from the floor washed off my feet (prior to arriving, I had showered, put on shoes, and drove here. So, I know the dirt was from this floor... uncarpeted hardwood-look.). There's a new hotel being built next door (Oct. '23), so there's a chain link fence dividing the parking lot on my side of the building from the construction and it's fairly close to the parking for this hotel. That makes getting out of marking spots a little tight (esp. for the full size truck I watched try to get out...took a lot of back up, turn, pull forward, and repeat...). There is a lot of trash in the lot also...a half-eaten hot dog, empty soda bottle, trash bag, piles of cigarette butts, etc. Also, I didn't expect a great free breakfast, but choice of juice, coffee, milk, 3 types of cereal, yogurt, fruit cup, microwave oatmeal, a cereal bar, and white bread was less than I expected. Most places at least have bagels and english muffins...but...just white bread? Lastly, in the lobby, there are a bunch of boxes from deliveries sitting there...why not at least put them behind the counter or in a back room? It all just seems a bit untidy, and that's not a good first impression as I walked in.

This is by far one of the best hotels I've a stayed in for under 100$. Customer service was great. Rooms are very clean it's really quiet it wasn't as pricey as it could of been bc of Thanksgiving they let me check in early. When I come back through this will be the hotel I stay at. From now on.

One star is too many. The room smelled like a dirty toilet. This was one of THE worst nights I’ve had in a hotel. The bathroom was dirty… hair in the sink and shower drain, grime on the shower floor and walls, spilled coffee splashed all over the walls and under the sink. The ceiling was so thin that the person above me kept me up all night walking around. There was writing on the pictures and walls. The blanket on the bed was dirty and there were cigarette burns in the bed cover. All in all this place was just awful. I honestly can’t believe I paid money to stay here.

Would not give 1 star! This a dump! Made the reservation while driving around 9pm.Was told I could could cancel by 12 midnight. We arrived by 10:30 pm. Key cards would not let us in the room...multiple times. Immediately asked for cancelation and refund. Do not stay there!!!!. Can't believe Wyndham has their name associated with this property.

Was in town for a few days. Hotel had construction across from it. NO view at all. Had foam beads from construction get all in room and car. Room was ok. Staff was waiting at my door at 10am. Check out was at 11. They literally watched us pack car up. Kinda sad actually. Spend the extra few dollars and stay up the road.

The floor in the hallway was sticky and the hall was worn. The room was supposed to be non-smoking but smelled of mildew and cigarettes. There was no towels for the shower or hair dryer. Holes in the walls, cigarette burns in the chair, bad repair job on the damaged walls, and the pool was put of service. Surrounded by what seemed to be nice hotels, but also seemed to be lots of questionable characters. -10/10, would not recommend.

The staff is excellent and the rooms are very clean. However the ac/heater reeked of mold. Since it was a comfortable temperature I never used it and didn't request a room change. They have Roku instead of regular TV, which I actually didn't like. I like to watch TV at a hotel. I tried using the Roku but the internet connection was too slow and it kept buffering. Rooms have laminate floors and this is bad for sound dampening. The person above me had a dog and I could hear every footstep of him and his dog as well as every little sound outside. Everything else was great. Great spot for truck drivers, big parking lot for truck parking. Great for the price. Right next to Cracker Barrel.

We booked a room here on our way to South Carolina. We didn't read the reviews prior as I had actually lived in Eastridge many years ago. MISTAKE ON MY PART! This hotel is trash. We arrived to be told we didn't have a reservation (which we proved we did). Upon receipt of the key to our non smoking room we immediately smelt smoke upon entry and there were cigarette burns in the comforters. The ceiling had water damage, the main room had bugs in it , and the shower had a spider in the top corner. I am positive they do not clean these rooms well and I felt like I needed a shower after my shower. The parking was limited due to construction which caused issue as we were traveling with an rv in tow. Do better Super 8 or tear this place down.

Their website lists a pool as an amenity as well as their Google review. It even shows pictures. No pool=disappointed kids who've been in a car for over 7 hrs. Yikes, really disappointed.

We booked here because it showed that they had done upgrades to the property, the rooms were definitely upgraded but the exterior was very rundown, so was the office and the breakfast area. We booked online and it said we had a noon check out at 11 AM we get a call from the front desk and they are in flexible and force us to leave even though we show proof on the receipt that we had a noon check out. They also have done a terrible job of covering up the smoke smell in my room.

Drove 4 hours to stay 1 night I reserved, paid for online. To be told by the over night front desk employee, she needed $100 in cash for my deposit. Wouldn't give me mine and my children's room key and argued for half an hour. Do not recomend booking, staying, visiting, ect. At ALL.

Booked my dad a room as he was traveling and when they arrived to the hotel and told the room was ready it was not! The room stunk, was dirty and dark. The lights flickering, no shower curtain, someone's dirty sock left in the room, slamming doors and people yelling all night. They charged $70.00 for a room he couldn't even sleep in and when I called to discuss this I wasn't able to get anything resolved as they didn't have a manager available. Absolutely unacceptable!!! Would not recommend!!

After reading reviews I was nervous. When we first walked in it looked nice, there was a spot on the toilet seat and the bed was hard as a rock other than that the room was nice. If you do plan to get some rest I do not suggest this hotel because it is right beside a construction site

Late April 2023 the property next door is under construction which severely limits parking. Room was clean. A/C worked. Facilities in a general state of disrepair. Reasonably quiet even though it was at full capacity. Two stories but I did not see an elevator. Price was ok for the state of the property.

My family and I stayed here twice on the way to and from Disney World. The first time there were hairs everywhere and the floors were extremely filthy. The second time there were dirty towels hanging, the ac unit barely worked, there bath tub was dirty, the outlets on the lamps didn't work, the slide lock on our door didn't work so we had to move the chair that was in the room to infront of the door so my toddler couldn't just walk out of the door. When I moved the chair the floor underneath was extremely dirty like it had never been cleaned. It was however right off the interstate and easy to get to.

Absolutely horrible beds were completely trash baby roaches in the bathroom was dirty had a weird smell to it and not to mention the people in the next room smoking out a non smoking room and then have a royal rumble after they were drunk and their truck alarm going off all night after they passed out. Woman at the front desk was wonderful to speak to and very nice that's about it.

The check in lady was wonderful. The facilities is badly in need of general maintenance, both inside and ourside. I will not recommend this facility to my friends. This is the first time that we have given any motel or hotel a review for any reason due to the overall maintenance of this facility.

East Ridge has grown into a mature adult from its days of being a brat. Super 8 is a hidden gem amongst the development currently taking place. After business hours, when the work outside stops, kick back in one of the comfortable rooms and enjoy.

  • 1/5 Angie S. 1 year ago on Google
The room when you first walk in did not look too bad. The mattress on one bed sunk way in on the middle of the bed so you had to sleep way on the edge for fear of being stuck in the bed. There was cigarette burn holes in bedding. Used soap left behind in the shower which made us afraid to use it for fear it was never cleaned after the last guest. Also killed one baby and one adult cockroach before going to bed. Then chased 3 more but could not catch them before checking out. Front desk was not surprised to hear of this.

The website states that they have a pool which is not true. They told us it was removed two weeks ago. It should be updated on the website. And the location is very tight to get into with a truck like mine. There's a lot of construction and very little parking
