I had a very very bad experience. I went there on a saturday afternoon. It was not that much rush and still the waiter asked me to go and sit on the top. I went to the top and ordered a chicken biriyani. I waited for more than 20 minutes and there was no response. I called a waiter passing by and asked about my order. His facial expression was like he didnt liked it. Then he came with a food package and put on the table. When i asked he told me that this is my order. I asked why you are not serving in plate and where are salads pickles and spoon. He told me that i should eat like this, he treated like i was asking him for free food. Aa pothi avante kayyil koduthittu avanodu thanne thinnan paranju njan irangi ponnu. Ithepolulla waiter aanel muthalali vegam kada adakkandi varum

Cafetería style atmosphere. Display counter helps with identifying what can catch your fancy. Selection of chicken and beef is descent. Service staff very helpful.

We Ordered 1 Kabsa and 2 Beef Biriyani, it was just some over cooked Rice With chicken and beef. Sorry to say the feel of good food that I had from the same hotel in the past has lost. Totally disappointed and dissatisfied. Hope you guys will look into this matter seriously. Good Luck.

This place smells so bad. Major hygiene issues. Also didn't had a good dine in experience. Biriyani is below average. Iftar is loosing their brand value over all. So bad.

It opens until late at night. It has exceptionally good food! Very friendly staff; this is one of the best restaurants I've been to in Cochin. Value for money, and lots of variety in delicious food I can pick from. I ordered fish mango, fish pollichathu (this one was extremely tasty; I wanted more but unfortunately it was out of stock!), biryani, and pathiri. The location was perfectly tucked into the city.

Customer service is very bad No one care about coustomer satisfaction. Once i ordered beef biriyani i got 2 piece of raw beef🥴 Sometimes the food is good sometimes utter flop and the shawarma is full of cabage 😒. If you guys seeing my review do suggest them to be better I fed up with this restaurant. Never gonna have food from there any more

I must say, their biriyani truly lives up to its famous reputation. My experience at Ifthar was nothing short of exceptional. The biriyani was not only delicious but also heartwarming, exceeding my expectations. The standout dish was undoubtedly their biriyani. It was perfectly seasoned, with a delightful blend of spices and tender pieces of meat that melted in my mouth. The aroma alone was enough to make my mouth water, and the flavors were simply exquisite. If you're a biriyani lover, this place is a must-visit. However, my experience with the pineapple juice was not as satisfying. I had high expectations for it, but it didn't quite meet them. Ifthar in Edappally is a biriyani haven with flavors that will leave you craving more their biriyani is the star of the show, Be prepared for crowds and limited parking, but don't let that deter you from experiencing their delicious biriyani.

Food is great in taste but recently their name was highlighted in a bad incident, so questionable on trust. Other than that we found the chicken kabsa was good and their chicken coccunut curry not so great. Biriyani is okay.

Ifthar Restaurant is located at Edapally after LuLu Mall. It's a big restaurant and has dining in 2 floors. However there would be enormous rush inside everytime. We may have to weight to get orders. Neychoru and Beef Kondattam is their specialities. Salad and Beetroot pickle comes with Ghee Rice was nice. Their malabar dishes was worth to try. We had Beef curry and roast from there, which was of moderate quality. Parking of vehicles would be difficult there, as the restaurant is situated very much near the road.

Good resturant. Quality food Reasonable rate Both veg and non veg are good. It is rare to see a restaurant were we get good veg and non veg food. Parking is just before the hotel But Large ground 3 floors Each with amble amount of space to dine in. Rest room is there. Good and hygenic. Customer friendly staff

Food is cold. if you order porotta or any curries or frys on display, it will be cold . Taste seems to be good. The Gravy they offer seems like sambar infused not sure about the taste is best for everyone.

DON'T GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. I give zero stars for this restaurant due to their rude behavior and service. The service staff used rude words towards us when we requested to change the order or replace it. Moreover, their food quality is also very average and not worth the money they charge. The staff will never care about customers and will give attention to people who order more items.

Delicious biryani paired with beetroot chutney was a delightful combination. The biryani, served on a banana leaf, enhanced its flavors even more.

There is no other shop in Edapalli that get such good tea👑. All the Malabar dishes here are delicious and flawless😋🧇. All the dishes are Affordable price. The ambience of this restaurant, dining hall and washroom are very clean and clear🌟. However, the service here will be like their mood. Anyway, Iftar is a must try spot ☕🤝❣️

Ifthar Restaurant at Edappally Toll is a culinary gem! The 100% Malabar food served here is of extraordinary quality, truly a delight for the taste buds. As the main branch of the Ifthar group, it stands out for its authenticity and commitment to delivering an exceptional dining experience. The flavors are rich, the ambiance is inviting, and the staff is attentive. If you're a fan of Malabar cuisine, this is a must-visit destination. Five stars for consistently delivering top-notch quality and taste!

I tried Egg Biryani.. 120+ Gst Rupees And dry Chilli Gobi 110+ GST. It was pathetic.. No flavour for rice..it was just like plain rice and 2 boiled egg ... They couldn't provide a good masala for Egg. (For same dishes, I will suggest nearby Thattukada.. which i tried few days before atmosphere is average. but food was good . Good service Cheap price. Egg Biryani 70 Rs,chilli Gobi 40/70 i don't remember)

One of the finest restaurants in kochi offering good and tasty food. Personally on love with Kabsa offered from here and will recommend the same to all. You've got enough space in this hotel to sit and also the same applies to parking facilities too. Most of the food served here provides good quality and enough quantity, under affordable price too. Ifthar is located near to LuLu mall itself in Edappally.

Ordered alfahm chicken yesterday night through swiggy. I recieved stale khubuz and rotten smelly chicken! It could've eaily caused a food poisoning and hospitalization if consumed. Saw similiar experiances shared here in the reviews since last 3months. It is unbelievable how they're still open and functioning inspite of such dangerous activities.

You can't go wrong with Ifthar. Tasty food. Good location. Great service. An wide variety of food available. Biggest advantage is that they open well into night somehow, which is a big blessing for people who have some or the other need to roam around at night. Parking is the biggest problem in this area

My Most favourite Restaurant. They serve with utmost care and affection. Their Chicken Kabsa is the best boiled type Pothi Biriyani and also super value for money. Chicken Grilled is also nice. Mostly close to full seating especially for dinner. Raw Mango Juice, Grape Lime & Black Tea are all specialties.

  • 5/5 Harikrishnan D. 9 months ago on Google
The food is incredible. However do ask about the level of spices in all dishes. I bought the chicken kondattam and beef kondattam knowing fully well that it was ridiculously spicy and it didn’t disappoint. The cashiers are pleasant and service is quick. Food is also fresh and good quality. Do try the mango fish curry and kabsa.

"I visited Ifthar Hotel and had their biryani, which was as tasty as always. The place was crowded, but the service was good. The only drawback was that it felt a bit congested. Despite that, it's still a great spot for delicious biryani."

This is one of the famous multi cuisines in Kerala. They have so many variety of dishes and the prices are surprisingly reasonable. That's what makes them special. I have visited both Aluva and Edapally restaurants and the food is just great. From Porotta and Beef to Alfaham, the flavours are really good.

Great food. The Arabic cuisine is super. Lunch, evening snacks and dinner you will get all verities of Arabic food. Some options are served as fast food. And parking is also a little problem. Other than that excellent place to hang out.

sometimes I don't mind food quality because the service and peoples behavior will be good. but here the case is different the food is average despite the fact their food were awesome, and the service and staff is very bad trained, unfriendly and floppy service. So I don't recommend them because now they just open since they are there not because they want to serve you or not, I still cant get over with the staff behavior. If you are in hurry and you just wanna eat something well you can go, if not if you want somewhere with good ambience and some friendly service well try somewhere else.

We had kabsa and shawarma .. kabsa is their spl dish and should try that.. The main attraction I felt is that they are serving biriyani and all the rice items in separate parcel wrapped with banana leaves just like how we get delivered..

Good food, mainly non-vegetarian served. This is their first restaurant started in early 2014. They managed to create a brand in these 8 years opening multiple outlets, so quality of food served never becomes a concern. Have good variety of dishes and snacks.

  • 3/5 Sreejith B. 1 year ago on Google
Personally I'm not satisfied with their food and management. I had a lunch and dinner @ifthar. But unfortunately at lunch time, items was very less... Only they have biriyani or one other item. Actually both are the same. Providing methods was the only difference. We cannot say that it's value for money. Quality is fine. But only for the food quality we cannot pay the complete value for the quality. I faced some bad incidents too there from the staff.

  • 1/5 Ashique A. 1 year ago on Google
Tried their Kabsa. It was not good. The rice and chicken were over cooked. They provide food in banana leaf wrap, not in plate and that leaf was not good. Customer service need to be improve. They didn't provide menu card. Totally Disappointed.

  • 2/5 Chathuri A. 1 year ago on Google
Pathetic food. Very bad service. Attitude of the seving people were extremely rude as if they are giving food for free. All dishes were bad. Ordered biriyani, porotta, beef roast and all thinking the old taste of iftar. I was an iftar pro person and they made me feel this in the last two times. I am sure this brand is going to close soon seeing the kind of food and service they provide. That's what happened to similar brands earlier. Or else some miracles should happen.

Very bad food. I ordered porrotta and ayala fish curry. It was not fresh i m sure. Maybe it and before one day. Ang Gave to me after some second cook. I ate at 11 am. At that time there is no chance of porrota and fish curry like that if it made that day😤😤.fish is like a rubber no taste.I dont knw about other foods. But porrotta and fishcurry is not good for eat.

The food was tasty. Hotel is maintained neat and clean. Car, bike parking is available. Lot of non veg dishes available here. Coin porotta is also available. Kabza is one of the special dishe available here. Nice spot to visit with family and friends. Cash, gpay, card payments are acceptable. Soft drinks are not available. Only tea, coffee, fresh juice, fresh lime available.

  • 1/5 Paily k. 1 year ago on Google
They are not cooking properly, I got a piece of plastic cover on my biriyani when I asked about it, they said it's just a piece of plastic no problem. They don't care about our health, they care only about their wealth. So make sure you check it before you eat. Be healthy I have uploaded the pictures too.

Ifthar Restaurant is a restaurant located in Kerala, India. They specialize in traditional Kerala cuisine, and they are known for their authentic dishes and flavors. I was really impressed with the food at Ifthar Restaurant. The flavours were extremely authentic, and I could tell that the chefs had a lot of passion for their work. Their Kerala chicken curry was especially delicious, and it was definitely one of my favourite dishes from the restaurant. I would definitely recommend trying out Ifthar Restaurant if you're ever in Kerala!

A decent eatery near Lulu mall. Good for families. Pros - They serve veg and non veg dishes. Waiting time is less. Rates are reasonable. Food is tasty. Serving quantity is adequate. Cons - At peak hours you will need to wait for a seat. More cleanliness is needed.
