RENTERS BEWARE!! we are so disappointed with our experience. We paid 750$ damage deposit to hold an apartment. We had seen a suite which looked like the ads posted online. It was clean looking and ready for move in. When our move in date came, we were brought to a unit that had cigarette burns in the carpet, orange spray paint, bleach stains, and multiple other stains. This unit was disgusting to put it lightly. All they had to say about this was that they had noted it in the lease. This was the unit that we were supposed to pay 1200$ a month to live in. When we complained and asked to see another unit, we were shown one with visible spray paint on the closet doors. Park place is a scam, do not waste your time or your money. They will take advantage of you any way they can. They had the opportunity to right their wrong, and they didn’t. YELP is full of reviews of how terrible this complex actually is. The won’t budge on their damage deposit policy even though they were proven to be deceitful, misleading, and completely untrustworthy. Renters beware! Don’t make the same mistake as us!! I would not consider spray paint and cigarette burns an “unique characteristic”. You guys are a joke.

If you are looking for an up to date, quiet well maintained apartment building, then keep looking, this is not the place for you. I moved in March 1, they showed me one unit, then come move in day was given another unit, when asked to see if there was another available unit because the cosmetics in this unit was depressing, I was given 100 gift card. The people above me have 3 children who are allowed to run around whenever they want even past 10 pm. I called city bylaw, was advised to call police. Kept track of the time after 10 pm, showed office dates and times the kids were still running around. Even gave them recordings of the banging and running around, this has been going on since March 1 and their solution is I transfer or they wait till they can transfer the upstairs unit, while the whole time I still get the joys of hearing them running around and banging after 10 pm. I have many issues wrong with the unit and all they do is mask the problem, they don't fix it. Today,I had matnience come in to look at the mold around my kitchen sink and around faucet, their solution was to caulk around the sink and faucet to cover the mold and make it look worse. The mold is still visible on the counter. The mold is still there regardless. Nothing gets fixed properly, I was lucky to even get new living room blinds. I have rust in my tub that still hasn't even been looked at. Next call is to the health board.

Norman is one of the best maintenance guy here. He looked over all requests in timely manner. His work is clean and precise. I would like him to do all my maintenance requests in future if required.

Carlos came to help us for the issue of overflowing kitchen sink at night in emergency. He is a friendly guy and very helpful. He made sure the problem is solved and did everything with a patient mindset to help us. Good guy and a professional attitude. Thanks.

I want to thank Carlos our maintenance guy for a wonderful and kind service. Very friendly and attentive to problems in the unit.
