Friendly and chatty owner, and very interesting unique pour over coffee. Very charity focused, which is good but I would caution that the store could use some investment before giving away too much. The store is very spartan and the baked goods are just ok. The coffee is so unique that I would still give it 5 stars.

So excited to have this super cute and cozy coffee shop with delicious locally made treats, gifts, tea, and coffee in the neighborhood! Everything I’ve tried there has been delicious, the space is warm and inviting, and Scott is so welcoming and lovely to talk to. Highly recommended!! Check it out!

My wife and I had the pleasure of stopping into the shop a couple days ago. We were interested in buying some coffee beans to celebrate our new coffee maker. The owner took the time to explain and teach us a lot about the world of coffee, he’s clearly passionate about it! He prepared samples of various coffees for us to try. We ended up sitting, sipping and chatting for close to an hour. A great experience in a funky little strip mall with a gorgeous mural steps away from the front door. Would definitely go again and recommend to friends!

My first visit to this neighbourhood coffee shop was wonderful! My husband and I had a great chat with the friendly owner, Scott, and thoroughly enjoyed our cookies, sorbet and coffee. I'm a musician, and when I noticed local music being played, Scott told us that they're trying to play as much local music in the shop as they can and let me add a few of my tunes to their playlist. Hope this will be a community hub for years to come! We love when a local business immediately makes you feel at home and want to become a regular.

The coffee is good (duh, it's roasted in-house), the space is welcoming, the selection of local goods is great, but the true value of The Dapper Beaver is its owner, Scott. Scott talks to you like you've been friends for years even if it's the first time you've come to the shop--I average 20 minutes each trip because we always end up chatting for so long. The charitable slant to the business is an added bonus. I don't live on the neighbourhood anymore (or even Edmonton for that matter) but I make a point to stop by every time I'm in town.

We've gone to The Dapper Beaver twice for coffee to drink and for beans and have been more than satisfied each time. The quality of the beans is fantastic, they make a wonderfully smooth and flavourful coffee and the Vanilla Latte we got was perfectly balanced, it was exactly what I needed on a sleepy Sunday morning. The guy that runs the place is great too, super nice and friendly. There's a bunch of cool stuff for sale in the shop too. Definitely a great local shop we'll be continuing to support.

I love the Dapper Beaver. The owner Scott is community driven and donates tips and profits from selling bags of coffee to numerous not for profits. He showcases several artists work in his small shop. He is charitable and charming, and makes a great cup of coffee, or latte, or whatever it is you're searching for. The treats he offers come from local bakeries, and he sources much of his goods from locally around Alberta or across Canada. You can feel good visiting the Dapper Beaver knowing you're supporting many small and local businesses and artists

There is so much to say about The Dapper Beaver! This has become my place to go to press pause on life and enjoy an iced latte, a baked or cold sweet treat (they support other local businesses by selling their goods!), and a visit with the very friendly crew that works hard to make every customer's experience in the shop enjoyable. I highly recommend their roasted beans to take home and enjoy every other day that you can’t make it into the shop. This is also a great place to find great little presents/treasures made by local artisans. I admire the shop’s mission to support local by donating tips and portions of their proceeds to a variety of charities. Knowing that community and giving back is important to Scott (owner) and the team at The Dapper Beaver, my weekly visit to the shop to support them in return is extremely important to me.

I had my first experience at The Dapper Beaver today. It’s a cute little shop with a friendly atmosphere. They showcase local artists and products. I had a fantastic iced vanilla latte. To top it all off they are dog friendly. I really enjoyed my visit and will be back again!

The Dapper Beaver has become my go-to coffee shop since I moved to the area, and for good reason! The coffee is phenomenal (the iced lattes are my usual but don't overlook the beauty of the pour overs), the treats and trinkets are all locally made, and it's pet friendly to boot. But what really makes this the place to be are the people behind the counter. Scott, the owner, is highly charming, amiable, and a master at his craft. McKenna, his employee, is super sweet and an absolute joy to talk to. Both of them make a real effort to get to know the people in the community and you can always expect good conversation, whether it be about the coffee itself or just a quick chat about life. So if you're in the area, make sure to stop by. And if you're not in the area? Still stop by! It's worth the drive, I promise.

Adorable little cafe! The owner/staff is super friendly, really good coffee. Most of the items in the shop are from local vendors so if you are into supporting local vendors/business this is a fantastic place to hit up! There is parking right out front so it is very convenient to just drive right up and grab a coffee.
