This was our second time at JJ’s. The first time was pre-COVID, and we ate at their first location and we remembered it fondly! This time didn’t not disappoint!! Food was delicious, and the service was great. I did like the intimacy of the small diner, but thank goodness JJ’s is still there, and just as good. We had their amazing homemade hash and eggs. Delicious. Patti was a waitress, and we were able to reminisce with her. The diner is spacious and accessible, with outdoor ramp, clean bathrooms and plenty of parking.

This was our best diner experience in years! Great food and great service, the hash was amazing and the sausage gravy very flavorful

Excellent breakfast and lunch. Plenty of variety on the menu to choose from. Prices are much lower than any other diner in Atlantic County which probably explains why she is packed every single day of the week. Great food, always solid service. You cannot go wrong here

It was our first visit to JJ's Diner. It was around 10:15am on a Saturday so, as one can expect, it was experiencing a busy breakfast crowd. It took several minutes for a hostess to even acknowledge us, but we were eventually seated. It took several more minutes for the waitress to greet us and take our order, but again, it was a busy Saturday morning. The coffees came first, and the coffee was exceptionally good: very enjoyable. Our omelets came out soon after, and they too were very good. Despite our waitress being a bit impatient and snippy with us, the food and coffee was exceptionally good. We live roughly 35 miles north of JJ's Diner, and if passing through the area again we'd definitely go back.

We always try to go here but there is always a await. We got in today and french onion soup to die for. The chicken noodle was great too. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and my husband the roast beef sandwich both great if you can get in go for it.

The service here is awesome. I usually sit in Carol's area because she always takes such good care of me. But everyone who works there is great. The food is good and prices are reasonable. I love eating there & I know a lot of people that love it there also.

So I very rarely leave Google reviews but this time I couldn’t NOT praise this place! Right off the parkway, location was easy to get to with plenty of parking. We got there around 2pm and was seated right away. They close at 4pm with the last order taken 20 minutes prior to closing so keep that in mind. Our waitress was fantastic! She was so sweet and helpful, she explained everything to us and let us know all the specials and answered any questions we had. She was the most accommodating waitress I’ve ever come across and even brought my kids coloring pages and crayons to keep them occupied. The food, OMG it was delicious! Came out fast, fresh, and very tasty! Pancakes were light and fluffy, eggs cooked perfectly! Down to the kids chicken tenders, just very yummy! Definitely worth going for breakfast or lunch, prices are very good as well!

Went in this morning to have breakfast, there were 3 of us 1 being our 2 year old. We were greeting at the door and sat right away. Unfortunately I can’t review the food because no one came to even give us water or say ‘I’ll be right with you’ it wasn’t even busy. We sat there for 15 mins. I am a server myself so I was trying to give benefit of the doubt. 5 servers passed us by without even looking at us. A table was sat after us right in the next booth and we’re greeted right away and taken care of. We stood up and started to leave and our server Joanne miraculously appeared ready to start serving us. We walked out and will never be back. Just rude. One thing to do that to adults but my 2 year old was hungry ready for breakfast, we weren’t even offered a high chair or booster seat? We will continue to go have great service at shore diner up the street.

They close at 4pm and I got there at 315...they took my order, the waitress was perfect! She made us laugh and showered us with hospitality. The food was big portions and full of flavor. We had to take a leftover bag

I have heard this place was really good. I was finally able to go, and It didn't disappoint us. The food was good. Unfortunately, when we visited, their credit card machine was down. They didn't put up a sign or notify incoming guest. I learned that they were only accepting cash by another guest who was leaving because she had no cash on her. We left and went to a nearby atm. When we got back and got seated, our server, Maryann, seemed to have an attitude with not only the guest but also her fellow employees. I know being In the restaurant business is stressful and they were having a stressful day this day. I hope that's not her everyday attitude. I will definitely go back and hope the customer service is better next time

Absolute disappointment ! If you don’t like the food they charge you anyway! Only two reason this happens… financial issues or pure stupidity. Don’t order the tuna !! If you’re going to have a policy like yours, it needs to be posted on menu. The Attorney General will be my next letter.

Excellent diner with very friendly staff. Food was excellent and a very cozy atmosphere. Great for breakfast or brunch. Had the French toast and it was soft but also a good crisp edge. Very good.

First time, calm atmosphere in the morning, have 7-9am morning menu I took smocked salmon bagels 🥯 with fries, was good but I ate better bagels, next time I will try scrambled egg 🍳 let’s see.

Skip the breakfast potatoes, dry and tasteless. Smoked pork chop with eggs were great! Very crowded on 12/26, who knew!
