Ok, I've decided to try shore diner for the first time ever. The food was delicious everything tasted fresh The service was quick and easy despite it being packed. The atmosphere was a warm, family-friendly environment. The staff was on point and the server was outstanding honestly if you're ever by the shore try Shore Dinner. Ps you'll want to make reservations place gets packed quick. And yes they serve alcohol 🍷 😁👍

Shore Diner was terrific. We were having a funeral for a family member (my dad) and needed a spot for a meal of consolation and shore diner was perfect for our event. I reached out to Alba, their manager, less than 24 hours before the event and she hopped on board. We quickly chose a menu, she figured out the wait staff, and made it happen. Shore diner has a room in the back that suits 40-50 and it was great to have our own private space at 3:30 or so in the afternoon. The waitstaff was incredible—they got drinks for everyone, cleared plates etc. one waiter knew I was hosting, asked me what I wanted to drink (water w lemon) and he brought me constant refreshed drinks for the whole 2-hour party without me asking so I could focus on the guests. We had all of my dad’s favorite foods —corned beef sandwiches, tuna salad, cheese steak, turkey with pickles, Greek salad and Cole slaw on the side. The food was delicious. Many of our guests commented on the great food and comfort of having our own room full of loving family. The parking was easy, easy access for older people w walkers, good price for the meal, and great leftovers I highly recommend Shore Diner for your event! Huge thanks to Alba who made everything so easy for us.

This is a typical diner and I mean that in a GOOD way. Huge menu, fair prices and friendly staff.

This diner was recommended by a friend, it was a 15/20 minute ride from Atlantic City but we'll worth the trip. Extensive selection for a diner, (menu had about 5 pages). So much to choose from a bit overwhelming for a first timer. The waitress was patient and friendly. Tried the pasta dishes, seafood vodka medley and theLasagna, both were tasty and satisfying. Great portions for your money. The bread basket comes with breads and tasty pastries. The place was clean, well lit and warm decor. The drinks were also well made. I would definitely visit again. We had the Tigerwood drink and a very berry cosmo. They also have wine.

Everything was great! Delicious food. Great service. Will be back when in the area!!

I was surprised with how good the food turned out to be! I wasn’t expecting much, but the Philly cheesesteak wrap was great. The portion was so big that ended up having leftovers for the next day. The only reason why the -1 star is because of the service, the server we had was nice but just too overly nice to the point that it feels fake. I get it, want bonus points for tip but you don’t have to be so over the top. Came back the next day for a cookie, haven’t tried them so maybe I’ll update this.

Order was wrong. Paid extra for brown avocado & some nice burnt toast. Called the place to complain (I placed a delivery order online) and the hostess was so rude. Talked to a server then & then I got hung up on. Called back and they have had me on hold for 10 minutes. Do not go here!!

Beware of beverage poisoning! I leave Shore Diner one star because I really wanted to like it but in the end I found very few, if any at all, redeeming qualities during our dining experience. From the outside it really does not look like an active lively diner at all, it actually looks abandoned, but when you walk in it's actually very bright and has a welcoming decor. We went for lunch and it was my first time there and I was told it was a great place to eat for casual dining any time of day. That was the hope. The food itself was just okay. The egg rolls were a bit undercooked. My burger was... decent-ish. The French onion soup was not that great. Our server at first seemed nice enough, but things kind of went downhill from there. Before any of the food came, we brought to her attention that the iced tea we ordered tasted like there was dish soap mixed in... and I mean a heavy soap taste... disgusting. She apologized and said it was just freshly made and she would check with her manager. We suggested that maybe they didn't rinse out the carafe properly and some soap may have remained in there... she seemed apologetic and then consulted with the manager but it didn't seem like they were going to do anything more. Then when our check comes they had the nerve to actually charge us for the soapy iced tea. She went back and fixed the mistake and brought us an updated bill. Despite the complaints and such we finished our meal as best we could and went to pay at the counter and at that time I had overheard the conversation with the counter clerk and our server; she was more concerned about how much of a tip we left her. Very disappointed in Shore Diner. Seriously, no joke, no exaggeration, but they gave one of us food poisoning. It was bad, too. We actually had to go to Urgent Care two days later and be put on antibiotics because other than the soapy tea and slightly undercooked egg roll we had not had anything out of the ordinary in our diets that week. Shame on you Shore Diner.

Normally, they are ok. I don’t know what happened, maybe different cook. Bread basket had burned bread or cake, whatever it is. Sweet potatoes burnt and no butter was offered. Salad was lettuce, no vegetables in it. The chicken rice soup was good, thank goodness or I would have starved. We had to keep asking the waiter for everything, our drinks which were included, he never came back and asked how is everything. Wasn’t sure what was included in the special or not, even when I pointed it out in the menu. Maybe it’s just an off night. We will try it another time.

Pictures included are from 2 different visits... And all of it was fantastic...I stay at the hotel next door every other week as a truck driver and eat at alot of places while on the road... This is one of my favorites and find myself going here each time I'm in town. All of the food iv tried so far has been great with no complaints... And typically I eat at the counter instead of a reg. Restaurant table and the server I always have is named Maria R. She is always friendly and remembers people after only 1 visit... At least in my case. She gets the order right every time and is fast to get anything you need... It's a bit pricey but worth a visit for good food and atmosphere... This should be one your dinner plans if your in the area.. at least once

Stopped here with a large group and were pleasantly surprised that even though they were very busy, we were seated quickly! Food was amazing, they have a separate breakfast menu with great options and combos.

I have been here three times now and every time the service and food was good. It’s simple diner. Nothing stands out for its vibe but the food was better then I expected. I order French onion soup and chicken shrimp pasta. Also chicken liver to go. I specially love the chicken liver and the fried eggplant. It was amazing. I would recommend anyone to try it. I would go back if I had the chance for its dessert too.

Voted best diner 2022. Large menu selection. Large portions. Favorite diner in Atlantic County. Lots of vegetarian options. Recently had open face tuna melt and falafel sandwich. Delicious.

Stopped in on the way home from the shore on a Friday night. Hannah was the best server I've had in a long time--so friendly, nice, and upbeat! The food was great with generous portions. It's a perfect place to stop by coming to or home from the shore.

This was our first time at this place and it was really good! The food amazing, service outstanding!

Went here tonight for dinner got the open face Ruben which I know alot of different diners make it different but never had it this way before lettuce tomato onion a side of fries and the Cole slaw and dressing on the side which was on but the corn beef was really over cook and the coleslaw wasn't bad but wasn't good either the waitress had a little attitude because I didn't want lemon in my water got my meal and she ask me if I wanted something different said no didn't see her after that but to get the check and the box I took pictures of their desserts didn't try them but they look really good this is some different bread banana bread a couple rolls and cinnamon bread which were good

Kai was sensational with service and info. FANTASTICAL crab cake salad and then chocolate NewYork style cheesecake covered with ganache..... AMAZING -ALL!

The food & drinks were really good. The bowl of strawberries were fresh, crisp, delicious, & not moldy, etc. Our waitress was so sweet & attentive. Her name was Hannah. Please give her a free Strawberry Bellini. I hope she knows that she is appreciated by her customers. I wish I got the older woman's name that popped by on occasion but I forgot to ask. She was very nice, as well. Atmosphere was welcoming & standard diner.
