Being born in the 80s its quite good do learn form where those games are originated. Its a quite small museum. The tickets cost €6.40. Worth a quick visit.

We enjoyed the visit. Only problem were that NO commentary were available in English. ONLY French. If you accept foreigner's money then you should provide for them.

If you travel with the kids, this place is a must. If not, it would be nice to visit. The exhibition takes you for a walk among toys from the mid-19th century until today. You also have some interactivity options (eg.: an Arcade game from the 80s). At ground floor, kids may spend some time playing society games or older electronic games (Nintendo like). It will bring up memories for you and some enlightenment for the kids. No meals available in the location, only water and coffee. 1, max 2h would be enough to visit the exhibit.

This is a wonderful museum! My partner and I really enjoyed it. Not just for kids - I think this museum would be really interesting no matter what age you are. It was laid out in a great way and the information provided was clear and interesting. (The info is in French on the wall or you can read through translations in other languages - including German and English - from a booklet). The staff were all friendly, toilets clean and there is a coat rack to hang up coats and bags while you check out the museum. Would recommend!

Loved it! So much fun! The trains on the second floor start to run at the flip of a switch. The toys brought back memories of growing up in the 70s. (if you grew up in the 50s, 80s or 1890s, there are toys for you too!). P.S. Find the Pokemon!

It’s a nice little museum to visit but the sink in the women’s toilet on the ground floor wasn’t working on the day I visited.

Really cool place, would definitely recommend to anyone in Colmar, even if you only have an hour like us haha.

It has 3 floors and it is full of with old toys and old console games. I recommend to visit here in case you are so old for here.

Old-fashioned, dusty, poorly lit vitrines, very few things to interact with. The Nintendo game console was the main attraction for kids

This is an amazing little museum. We had so much fun with interactive games. It was really cool to experience also the arcade machine on the second floor. Absolutely recommended for kids from 3 years to infinity. Also the staff here is really nice and accommodating

Everyone deserves a second chance to become a child again. This helped us revisit our childhood without any guilt. Very endearing collection, makes us nostalgic despite the technogical advancement we are immersed within.

Lovely museum to check out in Colmar. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The collections are quite impressive and diverse, featuring attractive models of local places and toys from further afield.

The museum was quite small and loud with children’s playing. The employee in the front was quite rude and weird, but somehow I could ignore that. There were a lot of things which need to be interactive with visitors but were not in procedure (marionette show, train figure, …) Mostly there were no english text, except the information note that explains only general stuff for the whole section. I could still enjoy a section but it’s quite overly-priced for that.

Incredible museum! The entry price is low but the museum is pretty quickly done. The exposition is cool, there are some games and old video games that you can play also. I liked and recommend it.

Great small museum. Staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. My son loved the trains and the marionette show.
