Beautiful experience. We took the Nile cruise and were lucky enough to have an amazing local guide. Antonious Yousef Habib, Tony for his friends, was our lighthouse throughout the cruise. Having then extended the holiday to Cairo and Sharm, we had the opportunity to "try" other guides, but Tony is at a higher level. Perfect Italian, in fact, he uses the past tense better than I do. Very knowledgeable about Egyptian history, the various temples, etc. But Tony is more. An extremely respectful, punctual person who does not limit himself to the simple description of the Egyptian scenes depicted in the temples and which he describes with incredible passion. He is very attentive to every detail, starting from what the tourist should NOT do when he is alone or advice on which ATM to use. We also had long chats about modern Egyptian history, local customs and religion. He gave us advice on local foods, made sure our children liked what was offered to us, etc. He advised us on what was worth visiting or not outside of what was foreseen by the agency's itineraries and took us to visit the Aswan market, something not included in our itinerary but which we liked. He advised us where to buy authentic local products (although obviously more expensive) avoiding cheap but inferior products, always specifying which places were recommended by the Agency and which were recommended by him personally. He was available to help us by telephone even after the end of the cruise, even sending us some messages to make sure that everything was OK (also because my wife was not very well). In short, if you are looking for a serious, reliable, respectful, prepared guide who is passionate about his work, Toni is your obligatory choice, I recommend him with all my heart. And don't forget the tip!!!

we found Tony in Aswan and an exceptional guide, he speaks perfectly Italian, professional, punctual at best for every visit, well-mannered, educated, kind, courteous and it was a unique experience to be repeated.
