One of the best beaches to ever exist. Crystal clear water, white sand, beautiful corals, who can ask for more? Excellent coral reefs start 20 meters from the shore and extend onwards but actually the ones close to the Royal Tulip hotel where I stayed were better. Nice shaded areas managed by the local Bedouins serving tea and coffee. There are bathrooms but no showers.

The water is not very deep, it is an ideal beach for the whole family. It is a beach with a long and extensive shore, white sand and crystal clear water and very quiet. If you dare to snorkel, in the background you will see beautiful corals.

Me, my friend & our taxi driver had the entire beach for ourselves. Don't forget to bring drinks, towels, snacks... there is literally nothing & nobody but the crystal clear beach..

The right name for the beach is Hankorab. It the best beach I have ever seen in Egypt. You can call it paradise. I really like the different water color grades. I loved snorkeling through the colorful coral reefs. You will also enjoy the beautiful sandy beach. There are no seats on the the beach. So, you have to bring something to sit on. There are no showers available there. Only bathroom. So, you have to go to Qulaan beach to have a shower. The beach guard at Hankorab is not very friendly and all he wants is to get some money. You might need to bring something to eat or drink with you and please don't throw any trash on the beach or in the water so, we save this gem.

I wanted visiting Sharm El Luli. But its not possible. Its closed. Its only for the government. But you can go to the beautyful Hankorab Beach. Its a few km in the south. Or google Maps is wrong. In Hankorab all people say: This area is also Sharm El Luli

Attention this is not the location of sharm el Luli. It is officially called ras hankorab and is a bit further south. This is a bay with no beach that is used by fishermen. Google Egypt is not allowing location changes which why this is going to continue to confuse people.

Very nice scenery, and has sand beach. suitable for swimming, snorkling, just standing in the water, and for kids to swim and play by the shore. You have to swim further inside to see nice corals, it's not a problem for people who can swim, or with the help of a life jacket etc...
