Must Visit it. You can have a different view of Sigiriya. Both Pidurangala and Sigiriya are ready to be captured in one frame 😍. And there are many Eagles , Kingfishers and more other water birds. If you wait few hours ypu can easily watch their fishing moments.

Amazing view of pidurangala and sigiriya. You can relax for hours looking at that view. There are safe bathing spots as well Access road is bit bumpy but can reach by a car.

Ecellent view of both Pidurangala & Sigiriya, it's incredible if you can visit in the early morning. There are lots of animals in the lake and the clours are amazing

Unbelievable beauty! 😍 Great panoramic view with both Sigiriya and Pidurangala on the background.Its a 15 minute drive from Sigiriya.Your vehicle should have a good ground clearance if you are wish to go to the location.The Place is safe for bathing as we saw few villagers including children are in water. There is place with concrete steps where you can get in to water. Highly recommended!

I visited on a rainy day, I couldn't get the clear view. Not many people in the area. Paddy fields can be seen on the opposite. A lot of peacocks were there. The road may not be safe in the evening times as elephants frequently cross roads. It is good to check with locals about the best time to visit.

I saw the sunrise from here thanks to the hostel I stayed in! Absolutely magic. We also came back after to swim

It is a beautiful lake and you feel like you’re on the rim of a dam. Water one side and rice fields the other. Truly tranquil.

Really beautiful place, where you can see Lion rock and Pidurangala rock over Lake view. And rice Fields behind you ❤️❤️ one of The highlights of our journey.
