Live band at the rooftop and downstairs, it was rather empty on sunday but the decor is do authentic and aesthetically appealing. If you want the Jedida experience I highly recommend this place either for tea or a meal. 10/10

Quite disappointed, honestly. For a restaurant that calls itself "La Portugaise"...there is no Portuguese or even Portuguese-inspired food. Anyway, we ordered the tagine. We had had better. Portioning may not satisfy you either. The salad & mint tea were good. The terrace seating space was quite charming. If they only had a decent menu selection along with great food - this place would be quite the joint. Maybe it's just better to order coffee and snacks. Bathroom was not clean, unfortunately (someone had literally relieved themselves on the floor...and I ain't talking no. 1). If you are a party bigger than 3, there is a chance someone may not receive an order on time (they forgot an order completely). PS: on the way to the entrance, you will likely get harassed by the annoying and rude El Jadida shopkeepers.

Nice place in the Portuguese City. The food was delicious, but much on the menu wasn't available. Still a delicious meal and great service.

They have really good coffee. But the old cistern opposite seems to be closed.

The food was very tasty, and the juice was refreshing and 100% natural. The service was very good, very respectful, and the interior and exterior appearance was excellent. You must visit them 👍

No Go! Worst Tajine we had during our entire stay in Marocco! Do Not go there for dinner. Tajine de Chef for 100 MAD: very small Portion, sausage and turkey was missing. Big disappointment. Waiters/cook wäre aware that ingredients wäre missing but did not mention it. Tajine vegetarien was not better. Altough being hungry we did not finish the plates.

Delicious food in a nice setting! We had tajine crevette, crêpe Nutella/banana and iced caramel latte. The food and drinks were nicely presented and very well prepared. Our multilingual waiter Khaled was very friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Huge breakfast for 4 euros, very nice service and atmosphere. We were in the terrace, super nice, but also inside is very cozy. Definitely approved

I wanted the minced chicken brochette with mushroom sauce but they didnt have it so we took one plate of just chicken brochette with fries. Brochette where very small piece of chicken and they were small. Fries where the frozen kind not home made and i did asked the server to have extra fries but ....didnd' t get it. It was also serve with vegetable that where on the side of old. Overall i had better and nicer plates in smaller town such as Tinghir or ourzazate or Mergouza. Would not recommended. Go and explore around for other restaurants the 4.3 review might be from past reviews.

Prices at this particular place are very high than just across the street , so i dont recommend as a shopping destination, but the view is nice and there are some cafes with nice seatings

Great environment for lone female traveller with wifi access. Either I was really hungry or the bread is the best I've had in four weeks in Morocco. I had the harira (Moroccan bean soup) which was alright but not extraordinary. The fries that came on the side though had the soft center and the slightly crispy crust and were utterly excellent. Prices are quite cheap considering the slightly classier seating. Would come back.

Simple food cooked well and tasty, we enjoyed our Moroccan salad & chicken escalope & entrecôte very much. Not fancy but very good value & nice staff.

Food was decent, service was decent, ambiance was decent. Highlight was the kitty cat that came to greet us as we were finishing out meal. Soup was good. Tagine was good but not better than elsewhere. Seats were fairly uncomfortable.

Avoid at all costs, been here a few days visiting and all I can say is that this was the worst place to eat in Jadida. I had a poisson tanjine and the fish within it was served frozen. It was very disappointed to find out that the fish wasn't fresh and it was actually served frozen. There is a market in town, literally a few meters from the restaurant with plenty of fresh fish to choose from (being a town on the see). This is not something you would expect. Staff wasn't friendly and we were the only people there for lunch. Also, the starter served were very poor for a group of 6 people, just a few olives. Avoid.

Unfortunately the worst food and service we experienced in Morroco. The staff absolutely didn't care someone arrived, we had to go to them to see the menu and to order (both after substantial amount of time), although there were not many other guests. They said food would be ready in 10 minutes, but it was more than 40 minutes. The chicken in tajine was half frozen and completely dry. The other tajine with meet and plums was burned, meat was also dry and impossible to chew. The fork and knife were dirty. We would definitely recommend to avoid this place.
