If you're a male experiencing pelvic floor pain, Nicole and Emerge PT should be your first stop. After many months of pain and failed treatment, Nicole had me feeling MUCH better after our first session. The subsequent sessions also led to notable improvement. Nicole is patient, thoughtful, and attentive. I could not recommend this clinic more.

The team at Emerge are professional, educated and friendly. I love visiting this space. I appreciate the personal experience and I know my well being is the priority when I enter, each interaction is 1:1 and I am monitored throughout my entire visit to ensure the best results. Today was my last day of physical therapy at Emerge. I had over 60 sessions of one on one with Abbey, and couldn’t be more pleased. After a heart transplant and a stroke at the same time, I left the hospital in a wheelchair. I went to one of best rated therapy programs in the country for three months of therapy (mostly in groups of 4 or more patients for each session). I left there requiring a walker. I can now walk unencumbered for 2 to 3 miles a day. One on one therapy is the way to go, and I don’t know how you could do ant better than Abbey.

I had an amazing experience working with Nicole. We met regularly for 8 months, starting as soon as I was released for activity by my doctor following an emergency c-section. Nicole is fantastic - she is knowledgeable, professional, and has incredible bedside manner. Heading into my treatment plan, my goal was to minimize the appearance of my c-section scar and rebuild strength in my abdominal muscles. I'm happy to say that at 10 months post-partum, I feel as strong as I did before surgery, and my scar has full mobility and no "shelf". I also feel more aware of my body and what it needs to be healthy. The change from visiting with my OB/GYN every few weeks during pregnancy to being fully released 8 weeks after birth was somewhat unsettling. I am so glad I decided to pursue PT; it was so reassuring to me to visit with a member of the medical community during this first critical year post-partum. Nicole saw me at some of my most vulnerable moments as I adjusted to motherhood, and provided me with reassurance, a listening ear, and great referrals for medical and other service providers to round out my post-partum care. She is an amazing physical therapist, and much more. I learned from Nicole that you don't have to accept discomfort in your post-partum body (including at incision site), and that she is there to help address it and be your partner as you create functional habits to build back your strength and mobility. I would recommend her to any friend (or stranger!) who has had a c-section. As for me, I will absolutely work with Nicole during and after my next pregnancy.

Nicole is a truly amazing pelvic floor therapist - I saw her for a few appointments before giving birth and then for a year (!!) after my cesarean. She is a talented practitioner and takes time to understand her patients holistically, always asking questions and answering all of my many questions that I had. I looked forward to our time together every week and feel like I made SO much progress with her. She’s also just really kind and so fun to talk to which is important for a pelvic floor PT because you need to feel super comfortable. Love Nicole and highly recommend Emerge to anyone looking for PT in Chicago!!!

i saw nicole for several months postpartum. she was incredibly professional and very supportive, which was great for me while i was navigating through that newborn haze. pelvic floor physical therapy can sometimes be uncomfortable or awkward, but nicole is such a sweetheart and so personable that it definitely made things easier.

Excellent personal care and customer service. Came in with a knee and leg injury from running, and worked with Abby to 1) identify problem areas, 2) develop a strength and mobility plan with home exercises, and 3) determine a schedule for returning to running, including contingency plans. Abby was excellent; highly personable, knowledgeable, and shared helpful resources. With Abby’s help, I went into a half-marathon with a much-improved knee and a strategy for managing knee pain during the race—I even exceeded my pre-injury time goals! Highly recommend Emerge PT!

Outstanding ability to understand issues, solve problems, and keep us motivated. I am stronger and healthier because of them. Having experienced many other PT services in my life, no one is better than Nicole and Marcus at Emerge! Whether it is pelvic floor issues, back pain, strength building, improving core strength and balance, they are exceptional in every area. Kind, flexible and fun to be around! And the space is calm, clean and welcoming.

I started seeing Nicole about 2 months postpartum for pelvic floor PT. She is amazing! She helped me to get back to feeling like myself and our weekly sessions were a highlight of my week. The facility is beautiful with a ton of equipment and she has a dedicated space for her pelvic floor clients. I truly cannot thank her enough for all of the help!

Working with Emerge helped me regain so much of my life. After bouncing from physician to physician with little improvement for 2 years, I was referred to Nicole for male anatomy pelvic floor PT. She is knowledgable, non-judgmental, and welcoming, and her guidance over 6-ish months resulted in near-total resolution of my symptoms as well as a much stronger understanding of how they came to be. Staff are kind, facilities are clean, scheduling is simple, billing is reasonable. I couldn't recommend Emerge more highly.

Long overdue review, but this team is A+! Look no further if you want highly engaged, motivated, and talented practitioners leading your care. I worked with the emerge team on rehab after a shoulder surgery, as well as pelvic floor postpartum. Wouldn't consider going anywhere else... this is the dream team!!!!

🫤 I've been a member of Planet Fitness for a while, and while the gym itself is nice and the staff are generally friendly and helpful, the chronic issue of the gym not opening on time has become a major frustration. On a recent Sunday morning, I arrived at 7:45 am, expecting the gym to be open as adv...

🫤 You get what you pay for. There’s no AC, pretty dirty everywhere, machines are constantly broken, treadmills are from 1992. They took away all dumbbells. It’s bizarre that a gym doesn’t have dumbbells available. No hair dryer in the locker room. Most of the members are ignorant, they don’t wipe mach...
