Small but interesting museum and fantastic place with skiff kurgans. The place where the first Golden Man was found. You can walk to see kurgans, to feel atmosphere of this very special place. The guide with very deep knowledge but you need to have your own translator with you, because she doesn’t speak in English.

The Golden Warrior museum where the grave discovered and prove the area was inhabited from the ancient times. The real warrior is an exhibit in the new Nur Sultan based museum of Kazakstan and here you can see a copy of the armour. Beyond that if you especially head towards Essik lake as we did it certainly worth a stop to see some exhibits from the digging and work of the archaeologists in the settlement. More English needed in both personnel that serves there and in the item explanations.

Visiting the museum on September 1st, a first day of a school year, made it extra special.

Small but excellent. Part of the famous "golden man" artifacts as well as many other ancient Turkic artifacts. Next to the museum, Kurgan (Turkic burial mounds) of golden man and several other kurgans are available to visit. It also was ridiculously cheap being only 50 dollar or euro cents.

An interesting and well organized small museum with some really amazing gold and other artefacts! But luck of air conditioning makes a summer visitor feel a bit stuffy

The surrounding is more attractive than the museum itself.

Didn’t have much in English. Toilets out back are terrible.

(Translated by Google) After a trip to the mountain lake, we stopped at the museum. Accompanied by a guide, we walked through the halls of the museum, the impressions of local attractions were good. (Original) После поездки на горное озеро заехали в музей. В сопровождении гида прошлись по залам музея, впечатления от местных достопримечательностей остались хорошие.

Magnificent museum. The staff are very friendly and cheerful. Cognitive excursion to the World - the Golden Man. I bought a book in the museum, I recommend everyone to do the same!
