Stayed here for a night at the end of a week’s trekking in the Alps. Stunning hotel, with a lovely team of professional and highly attentive staff. The small things are all taken care of, the room was faultless and included some great mod cons such as an inbuilt Bluetooth speaker in the shower and heated flooring. Dinner and breakfast were both exceptional (I had the four course tasting menu). Would love to return, and hope to do so some day.

The worst customer service i have ever experienced from a Manager of a so called 4 star hotel. Literally picked a fight with us on the phone, while we were trying to upgrade our room. Continuously telling us with blame that we booked a wrong room, not taking any responsibility, even when cancelling our room she coudnt leave it to write again that the blame was on us! Really horrible horrible service! (All started with the fact that we booked a room that didn't fit a baby cot, and this is NOT clearly stated on booking.com).

I’ve spent the weekend at chateau Brachet and I loved it. The quality of the hotel is unmatched, every details is thought through carefully. The food is great, the rooms are amazing and the staff is friendly and helpful.

Our recent stay at the Chateau Brachet was a complete delight. I understand the renovation of this magnificent property was recently completed and the owners of this luxurious Boutique Hotel are to be congratulated. Every detail is perfect - from the perfectly appointed rooms, which are all completely unique, to the excellent service. We can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The rooms are truly a masterpiece. Each one is uniquely decorated with a theme and the furniture and bedding were of the highest quality. We even had a housemade chocolate made to look like the owners classic car, left on our pillow each night! We had the opportunity to eat in the restaurant for dinner and the meal was both innovative and delicious, and the service attentive and friendly. My husband and I got up early to be able to enjoy the terrific breakfast which included house made croissants, granola, and bread and the most perfectly cooked omelet I have ever eaten. Their dining room is located partially in a sun room that overlooks their garden and grounds and the spring flowers were already planted and blooming and offered such a pretty backdrop to the hotel. Breakfast was such a treat in this lovely space. Our adult aged children loved the executive golf course and playing paddle tennis on the grounds. It was a perfect place to stay to visit nearby Aix Les Bains and Lac Bourget, which merit another wonderful review, and we even popped over to Annecy, which is a lovely lac side town with views of the French Alps. We were very sad to leave, but we will definitely be back another time!

Incredible service and improvement of rooms and grounds. We felt the care in every detail of this magnificent hotel.

Nous avons dîner avec ma conjointe hier soir pour nos 6 ans , nous avons très bien manger, nous avons pris 2 menus dégustation, gros bémol nous avons été mal conseillés sur les vins, pour commencer nous avons commander 2 kirs Royal , nous avons eu 2Kirs simple. Nous avons décidés de prendre des vins au verres pour accompagner chaque plats qui correspond avec le plat , nous avions pas fini notre verre de vin blanc que la sommelière arrivais pour nous servir un autre vin . La sommelière nous a mis des vins qui n’était pas en accord avec les plats contrairement à notre demande , et pour dessert nous avons été surpris de ne pas être servi par la sommelière, nous avons eu un vin qui n’était pas à notre goût qui finalement a gâcher le dessert c’est vraiment dommage, sinon nous avons très bien manger .

Très bon accueil, lieu magnifiquement rénové qui vaut le détour avec possibilité de promenade digestive dans le grand parc permettant de nombreuses activités sportives. Les plats étaient très bien présentés et savoureux. Pour ma part les portions me convenaient, le menu choisi était imposé mais du coup ça laisse une surprise et il y a toujours possibilité d’ajuster en fonction des allergies et des goûts personnels ; de plus le personnel est très convivial et attentionné.

Magnifique séjour d'étape avant les Alpes. Superbe endroit, au calme, très belles chambres. Nous avons apprécié la disponibilité et la gentillesse des collaborateurs qui ont pu trouver très rapidement une solution lorsqu'une difficulté se présentait. À recommander sans hésiter

Un déjeuner en 4 temps magnifique ! on s'est régalé ! Le lieu est déjà sublime et le repas à la hauteur de nos attentes ! tout était presque parfait ! un petit cake en cadeau pour l'anniversaire de mon mari ! très gentille attention !

Parfait ! Une parenthèse exceptionnelle ! Un super endroit pour passer du bon temps. Au calme avec une vue exceptionnelle, la piscine extérieur est un réel plus. Le restaurant est excellent, nous remercions le chef et sa brigade qui nous ont régalé durant ce week-end, du petit déjeuner au déjeuner et au dîner. (Les viennoiseries sont fabriqués sur place, presque tout est fabriqué dans la cuisine, et provient du potager du château, le miel et les confitures également !!!) une qualité gastronomique appréciée et rare. Le personnel est professionnel aimable sympathique, ils sont tous à l’écoute et font en sorte que vous soyez bien. L’espace hammam sauna est privatisé et compris ce qui est aussi appréciable. Nous reviendrons sûrement et nous conseillons ce lieu vivement !!!

Une expérience très agréable digne d’un 5* Un cadre magnifique décoré avec goût. Le site a une histoire. Un service sur place à votre écoute et votre service c’est très appréciable. J’ai pu garer ma voiture et la recharger pendant mon séjour. Note particulière pour le spa privatif pour 45 min très très rare en hôtellerie. Enfin une très belle piscine avec haut parleur intégré sous l’eau pour diffuser une musique douce pendant votre bain. Bravo à très bientôt.

Visit this place and you will not be disappointed. Excellent service, fantastic restaurant, the wines...., private spa was the best I've ever visited, rooms perfect and even the outdoor pool has music playing under the water whilst you swim. 20 mins to Annecy. What a find!

Toll. Hier waren wir gern. Sehr nettes und engagiertes Personal. Eine sehr individuelle Renovierung vom Feinsten. Da noch nicht alles bei der Technik ganz fertig war, war das kein Problem wegen der Unterstützung im Haus. Pool und Wellness sind ebenso ein Erlebnis.

Ausserordentlich schönes Hotel mit top Service! Historisch wertvoller Ort, präsentiert in gelungenem Mix aus elegantem 19. Jhd. Stil und topmoderner Ausstattung im Retro Look. Sehr gut geschultes Personal. Schöner Park, gut ausgestatteter Pool. Viele innovative Konzepte, zB die Selbstbedienungs-Bar auf Vertrauensbasis. Alles ist sehr durchdacht, viele gute Ideen an diversen Orten im Hotel. Sehr romantisch für Paare. Wir hatten einen perfekten Aufenthalt, gerne wieder! Ein Besuch der nahen Gorges in Gehdistanz lohnt sich.
