I come here every year. It's a great campsite, the only one in and around London that I know of that allows open fires. Well maintained and clean. Night guards and well monitored entrance makes it a safe place to visit and stay even on your own. Suitable for caravans and families with children. Dogs allowed at a daily price.

We camped here recently. Really pleasant, but it would have been nice to have toilet blocks in each field.

As a family, we have been staying at this campsite every year for the last 8 years. We started off on field 2 when the children were younger, which is perfect for families. As our camping group has grown (over 20 of us) we now stay on field 5. Camp fires, Large open space and a beautiful forest for the kids to explore. We always feel safe due to the presence of the security guard who is always driving around and stops to chat to you. He is really helpful and there if you need him! The toilets are clean and the showers are lovely and hot. If you’re looking for a simple, quiet no hassle break I’d highly recommend.

We book every year and love it. We booked a shady pitch which we werent aware of and the organisers allowed us to swop it for a more sunny spot as the weather was great and the sunny spot not booked up. Staff were very accommodating. Showers clean and hot so spacious best I have seen at campsites. Only downside for us it that you have to be off the site by 10am which is early considering you book in at 2pm to arrive. Come on Debden house sort it out! 12noon would be more reasonable as it use to be

Great camp site, facilities are nice & clean, the staff are accomodating & helpful. I would always recommend the fields with the fire pits as the pitches are bigger & more versatile.

Nice place to visit but very short in time you have to leave by 7pm lates just when you when the is sun down and time to relax after a bbq. Not worth the money paid for the hours given sorry

The campsite is a beautiful place with open access into Epping Forest, sadly the facilities are poorly designed and maintained. Door handles on toilets and showers missing, poor quality toilet paper dispensers leading to no paper and campers resorting to paper napkins which block the toilets. Toilet facilities not frequently checked for issues with supply of paper and soap so often left for hours with none. Easy to get stuck in the shower cubicle with no handle, could be quite frightening especially for children. Needs to be pulled open from small gap at base of the door, not a very accessible provision. No recycling or composting facilities on site so all waste goes in mixed bins which are often overfilled. Great to have a campsite with minimal facilities but not great when these aren’t fit for purpose.

Easy access camping to nature from London. Not that great facilities as the walk to toilets is quite long

Perfect place for a family camp especially if you’re not too familiar with camping as it has water fountains and toilets available that aren’t too far, the land is very beautiful and spacious and has an incredible forest that you can wonder through for hours!! We found some beautiful treasures just wondering around :)

Great place to set up camp right next to Epping forest plus close to London. Really Great friendly and helpful staff. Toilets are a short walk from every field Plus Plenty of hot water in the showers.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ Camping for the first time and we loved it, especially because of the staff there, particularly Lisa. Staff here are patient and answered my townie camping newbie questions with patience (even though they must have to repeat the same thing over and over every day) The grounds are beautifully maintai...
