5/5 Spoiled N. 1 year ago on Google
We
arrived
one
recent
weekday
for
lunch,
more
by
accident,
as
Wielandshöhe
was
recommended
in
a
guidebook
by
ADAC
and
we
had
not
much
time
to
read
while
driving
from
Munich
to
Paris.
We
just
wanted
to
avoid
another
horrible
food
debacle
at
a
German
highway
„Raststätte“.
Only
after
walking
in
we
saw
the
books
by
Vincent
Klink
displayed
near
the
entrance
(I
love
his
food
book
about
Venice
and
Veneto)
and
realized
where
we
had
landed:
in
a
temple
of
the
finest
German
cooking,
where
you
should
come
to
enjoy,
really,
not
just
for
a
stopover
from
the
Autobahn.
Still,
they
treated
us
with
the
same
friendliness
and
professionalism
as
everybody
else.
I
had
the
best,
most
juicy,
delicious
pork
cutlet
of
my
life
coupled
with
a
great
view
over
Stuttgart
from
the
vineyard
on
the
hill,
whrere
the
restaurant
sits
like
an
eagle’s
nest.
My
wife
and
the
kids
tried
octupus
salad
and
a
very
creative
Lasagne,
all
great.
We
ended
up
passing
spoons
across
the
table
all
the
time.
The
Michelin-starred
chef
is
cooking
in
the
kitchen
himself
every
day,
and
when
he
came
out
to
talk
to
us,
I
could
thank
him
in
person
for
the
great
„pasta
with
radicchio
„
recipe
in
his
book
„Ein
Bauch
spaziert
durch
Venedig“
that
we
use
a
lot
at
home.
It
was
a
pleasure
to
come
here.
We
will
be
back.
Thank
you,
Vincent
Klink
and
good
luck
with
your
next
book!
