My
husband
and
I
stayed
at
this
hotel
for
one
night.
Overall,
it
was
a
positive
experience,
with
a
few
drawbacks.
One
major
issue
was
that
none
of
the
staff
spoke
English,
except
for
the
manager.
And
for
some
reason
the
cashier
took
a
photo
of
our
credit
card
during
payment,
so
we
had
to
block
it
afterward.
The
hotel
is
located
on
a
main
road,
so
it
was
quite
noisy.
The
soundproofing
isn’t
sufficient,
especially
in
the
early
morning
when
the
prayer
at
5-6
AM
can
be
clearly
heard.
The
building
itself
is
old,
but
the
interior
is
well-maintained.
The
room
felt
a
bit
dark,
but
on
the
plus
side,
they
provide
slippers
and
complimentary
minibar
drinks
(Coke,
Sprite,
and
a
bottle
of
water).
During
winter,
the
hotel
can
get
quite
cold
and
it's
cool
in
the
room.
The
bed
was
comfortable,
but
the
synthetic
bed
linen
created
static
electricity,
which
was
a
bit
unpleasant.
A
supermarket
is
conveniently
located
just
100
meters
away,
and
across
the
street,
there
are
multiple
currency
exchange
offices.
Security
is
present
at
the
hotel
entrance,
with
bag
checks,
making
it
feel
quite
safe.
There’s
no
on-site
parking,
but
the
staff
suggested
parking
on
a
nearby
quiet
street,
which
has
security
personnel
and
cameras.
Breakfast
was
nice,
there
was
a
good
variety
of
local
dishes,
fresh
and
tasty
fruits
and
vegetables,
and
delicious
Iraqi
tea.
A
nice
addition
is
the
ATM
in
the
lobby,
where
you
can
withdraw
cash
using
a
foreign
card.
