The hotel is in terrible conditions. It needs an urgent renovation. I refused to stay there when I ejected three rooms to stay. Very poor isolation. People smoking in the lobby and a bad vibe around. They didn’t made me the refund. It’s outrageous that a bad quality hotel has a non-refundable policy. Absolutely avoidable.

It's an okay hotel, they have a good reception but no good employees, also their prices are kind of acceptable. The breakfast is good and has some variety of foods also fruits. The room has big space and good furniture, the Electrical plugs near the beds were not working. The bathroom has some issues with the shower and the drainage system also some issues with the flushing. The fan in the bathroom was very noisy and doesn't work properly. The air conditioning was fairly good but the electricity goes off and back again during the night it goes off and you should wake up and turn it back again.

A very convenient location. Close to everything. Convenient stores are right across the street. A large medical clinic (Media Medical Center) with a variety of medical practices, a hospital and several pharmacies all within a walking distance. Even the famous al-Qala'a and it's busy streets and stores are within a walking distance or you can take a taxi depending on the weather. A 10-minutes walk from the bust Street 60, where two of the famous restaurants are located close by; Dilshad Restaurant and Farouk Restaurant. Tablo Mall and Royal Mall are about 4 or 5 kilo meters away where you find the local general stores Garrafour Store (fresh produce, clothing, household items, electric equipments...etc), and kids play areas in addition to many fashion stores. Taxis to and from hotel to these malls should not exceed 3000 Iraqi Dinars (about $1). The hotel is very simple. The 2-bedrooms, have a kitchenette that merely serve the purpose. The bathrooms have a weird layout, but they are roomy. Children, elderly and crutches users need to be very careful when accessing these bathrooms because they tend to be very slippery. The staff is very courteous and helpful. They do provide an extra mattress, not bed, with a pillow and a duvet. The daily breakfast is free for all residents at the hotel. Hardboiled eggs, slices of cucumbers and tomatoes, tasty toasted samoon (Iraqi bread sprinkled with sesame seeds), Kirri cream cheese, Laughing Cow processed cheese, fruit, and nice strong coffee and tea. The place though very simple, it is clean and the staff are ready to fix whatever needs fixing at your hotel room.

It's the best option between price, service and location that I've found to stay in Erbil. We were three friends backpacking Kurdistan, so Madera was our base, you can count on good air conditioner, shower, fridge and a bit choppy but good wifi. The breakfast and repection are also noteworthy.

Good price , friendly staff, good , location . However, the noise coming from the electrical generator is very loud . No towels in the bathroom.

The worsted hotel it's very dirty ,bad service , everything is very bad

Visited few years ago, but still remember the disappointment. The cleanness, price ratio, view (none), breakfast, communication, everything was worse than I have seen anywhere else. And I have traveled a lot.

This hotel has some great service, really friendly people and all the necessities are there. Compared to other hotels in this price range, Madera is a wise choice.

Basic hotel with simple amenities. They let us check-in early, around 9 a.m. Decent breakfast buffet and some local cheap restaurants nearby.

Just checked out.madera hotel is definitely the way to go if you want a good price with a clean rooms and a free breakfast.and of course the best thing in the hotel is the staff are very kind and helpful.going to revisit soon.

Excellent overall from location to reception , it is very clean & quiet with very good breakfast , room survice ,internet very good the prices good , my family feels happy with the hotel & we hope repeating our visit 🌺🌹🌸💝
