A beautiful undergrounded historical place, a less known yet unique touristic place. Most of the tourist should visit this place and understand the history of the place. The boutique de souvenirs, gift shop is a good place to collect souvenir. I have been to the shop twice till now and purchased one book of Stephen king on my first visit 2021. And a postcard from my second visit this year. The shop and staff are warm and welcoming. After a long walk in the catacombes you feel like to take a souvenir back to home. It's a perfect fit. PS : it's a good place for getting gifts for Halloween 🎃👻.. and a must visit during Halloween to match the vibe.

Very interesting place to visit, albeit a little morbid. I so happy we visited. The only negative was the lack of interest from staff and the fact we were all ignored as they were all talking with each other rather than handing out audio guides.

The shop itself is okay... but the catacombs are unbelievable. NEEDS TO BE BOOKED IN ADVANCE. I missed this the first time going to Paris as it was fully booked out, so I recommend booking it in advance. Also, I would recommend getting a tour guide as you'll miss out on all the cool history and facts as all the wall markings are in Latin and French. Also, for private access to the catacombs, you get to go in to see places most don't get to see, and the groups are small... up to 4 people.

I am not sure why people review the gift shop more than the catacombs. Yea, there are some interesting things there worth picking up, but the ossuraries are amazing and full of history. There is so much to see while you are in the quarries that now house the bones of thousands of people. And we were lucky enough to see some work going on in one section where they were restoring a wall, rebuilding some bone stacks, and giving the visitors a view of the construction of the catacombs. I could spend hours here looking around. It is a must do in Paris.

I highly recommend visiting the Catacombs. Be aware, the flight of stairs down is long.

This was an amazing tour, the voice guide gave you plenty of great information and it was really interesting and a great way to learn about different periods in Paris history. The catacombs are cold so wrap up, but for anyone with a bit of an interest in the dark side of life as well as the fascinating history of Paris, this place is a must! All staff were very friendly and if you do visit, be nice, observe the rules and don't be that person!

Nothing else like it; worth the visit! Buy tickets ahead of time and get the audio guide. You'll learn some interesting history. 132 steps down a spiral staircase and about 80 steps back up at the other end of the tour, comes out at the gift shop and is about a mile south from the entrance point to begin the Catacombes tour. The gift shop has a nice selection of Catacombes related merchandise. One of our favorite things we did in Paris! Highly recommend

The store it's so amazing, they have all the souvenir you can think about, and they're prices fair enough

Pretty boring. A pile of bones will only keep you occupied for less than a minute. Unfortunately it will take about 20 minutes to walk through it all to the end.

Man!! What a trip... I've only heard of this place before visiting but no description can ever really explain the awesomeness of this tour. Heads up, but your tickets online and don't brave the lines of you don't have to. Also, the audio tour for this place was a nice touch. Very creepy and not fit the faint of heart. These are real bones people, not Hollywood smoke and mirrors! A definite must see is Paris!!

It was nice too see that we could find funny home decoration, tote bags and books. but the shop was a bit cold and my daughter was uncomfortable from the intense lights- doesn't really match with the ambiance of Catacombes.

Wow, what a place! Definitely worth the visit. Take your time to listen to the audio provided, it's well worth it! Highly recommend.

I strongly recommend to take the audio guide with you and your visit will be more interesting and you understand more what you see and history of it. No elevators and some parts are dark and very steep stairs. Not a lot of stands with information so the audio guides are the most useful. Got 1 for both of us, they are pretty loud so both can share.

Rude staff, high prices. Better get the things on Amazon later. I wanted to buy something around 10€ and pay with a 50€ bill. The cashier lied into my face she doesn’t have change. When the cash register opened it was full of multiple 50€,20€,10€ and 5€ bills.

This is one of the recommended places where you can buy non-tacky giveways from Paris. Quality looks good too. Prices weren't high as well.

The best, and the most chilling, place in Paris. The temperature here is about +14 year round, so if you want to cool off in summer - it's the best

Amazing experience! Be ready for a lot of stairs.

Some good relevant literature, and a few nice souvenirs - a lot of generic "spooky, dark grotesque" stuff. The girl at the counter was talking with her friend who was sat on the floor and seemed bothered by having to face customers so she simply did not 🤣

Pretty disappointing. First a 15 minute walk through an underground hallway where you keep wondering if anything interesting is going to come. The ossuary is ok but very repetitive so after a while you're done with that as well. There are more interesting / entertaining things to do in Paris for 20 euros

One exits the catacombs tour directly into the gift shop. Overall it has a nice selection and not too crazy on the prices.

Interesting looking back but also a good way of stretching your legs. Much cleaner, well organised and all round good value for money.

Great shop for all you catacomb related needs.

Very nice souvenir shop right after visiting the catacombs. You can also go here without doing the tour, but it is 750 yards/meters away from the entrance of the catacombs tour. Open daily from 10am to 8:30pm (except Mondays when it is closed all day)

YOU GUYS MEED MORE ORGANIZATION!!! I loved this place but I felt like I didn't learn much and the guards open gates for specific groups to pass. I dint know that, if I would've known I would've paid more or whatever. Still loved this place, I just wish there was a guide to explain more about the catacombs

The whole experience was unforgettable from learning the history through the audio tour, to feeling like your Indiana Jones exploring. Would recommend to anyone visiting Paris

Fascinating place, plan ahead and get there early or buy tickets online. We had to queue for 2 hours but it was worth the wait.

Now this is a place they could take you a few hours to walk through that its exhibit is amazing In the history of it all seems crazy but after you hear the story a kind of make sense it's not scary it's just Extremely different from walking through a graveyard this is a graveyard in a sense But it's underground for all to see photographs are allowed no Flash and you will be walking for approximately 2 and a 1/2 to 3 hours
