Came here with a group of 8 people. First time having Eritrean food and it was a wonderful experience! We shared 2 big plates with a small sample of everything. The service was excellent! Big portioned food for a very inexpensive price. I hope to be coming back here! The restaurant was fairly crowded on a Sunday night.

As with most restaurants, the staff play an integral part in ensuring you either have a good time or a great time. The staff here were wonderful, taking time to listen and then provide suggestions. They were also super quick and the food and ambiance were fantastic. I usually do not consume Ethiopian/Eritrean cuisine but once or twice a year, after finding this gem, I'm going to increase that. Thank you staff for a great time!

Eritrean / Ethiopian cuisine- Must try. Great food, simple man running an honest restaurant. Some what similar to Indian cuisine but different flavours for sure. Filling food , great tase and amazing to share on a common plate - enjoyed best with hands. Great for both vegetarians and non vegetarian- both can enjoy food from same plate! Learned about a new country while enjoying the food ..

Delicious food, a short walk from Gard Du Nord. Not only is the food really good, with a huge variety of flavours, it is a great experience too.

Delicious Eritrean food at very reasonable prices. The staff is friendly, the restaurant is clean and simple. No frills, great food, generous portions (vegetarian friendly- try the spinach cheese samoussa and the vegetarian platter- in the photos) 👍🏽

OMG, VERY DELICIOUS, if you never tried Ethiopian/Eritrean food, then you must try this place. It's finger food, so you must eat it with hands. They have a good selection of dishes, some are vegetarian, I love the ones with minced beef and tomato sauce and spices. The food is spicy on average but you can ask the waiter for advice on non spicy dishes. The food is served on a big tray covered in their traditional bread and the food on top, you must try the bread under it absorb some of the sauce and it taste heavenly. By far, this is one of my most favourite restaurants in town. Service is fast, waiters are friendly and explains about the food. Enjoy it

This restaurant was such a good choice!!! I loved everything! The food is delicious! The veggi chickpeas dish is simply the best! Food is super tasty and full of flavors. I loved the ritual to eat with the hands and the service was fast and super friendly. Prices are more than fair and portions are super abundant. Quantity wise, I would even say that from one, two people can eat (but you will miss diversity and trying different things tho). Super recommended and will definitely come back (with an empty stomach)

Was staying at the hotel across the street and got hungry before room service started, so decided to give this place a shot. I'm glad I did! I started catching some of the smells coming out of the kitchen as I read the menu outside and was committed. The place wasn't fancy, but looked clean and tidy. The lady who took my order was very nice. I ordered the Samboussas and Zegueni dish to-go. Both were delicious and hit the spot!

We came here on New Year’s Eve and had a reservation, luckily, as it was very busy with a lot of families. The menu deal is very affordable, giving you one entree and then your plat being shared on a platter. The owner was kind enough to explain that one element of one entree had meat, having noticed the rest of our order was vegetarian (something not very common in Paris, where meat makes surprise appearances in a lot of dishes!). We were very pleased and full after our meal. Alcohol is also served but we were in the minority of those drinking - I don’t think this was an issue though. I would definitely come back here and suggest others to do the same.

Very tasty and the owner is friendly. Injera could be way more sour but compared to other Ethiopian restaurants nearby, this restaurant tops it.

A great eatery near Gar de Nord station. The small restaurant serves delicious Ethiopian food. The meal is similar to an Indian thaali and is to be shared from one plate. Waiter/manager advised what to order to ensure we ordered the right amount of food, not too much/little.

Amazing food! I have been to many Ethiopian/Eritrean restaurants and as an Ethiopian my self I eat it a lot. And I find most restaurants to change the taste from the real local taste. But this restaurant took me by surprise as it is very close to the real local cuisine. The portion is great with affordable price. And the service was also good. I highly recommend it! And I am definitely coming back here.
