This is the place to go to purchase high-quality brand name skincare products at excellent pricing. The store is multiple floors and they have many pharmacists who are helpful and can assist with any of your questions or skincare needs. I was able to find and purchase some lotions and creams for my dry skin that I either couldn’t find in the US or would have paid many times more elsewhere. Big bonus — if you are shopping as a tourist, make sure to ask at the checkout for help with processing your tax refund. For purchases of 100 euros or more, you can get a nice refund of roughly 15%.

They had the biggest range of French pharmacy skin care brands, and the products were slightly cheaper than those at other pharmacies, which added up if you bought quite a lot of products. It could get really busy and stuffy inside though, and the lines were always long. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Currently in the pharmacy but couldn’t wait longer to give my review. It is not my first visit but maybe it will be the last, every time I face the rudest cashiers, who are so lazy to work and if you try to ask them for tax refund they will start nagging and talking between each other as if we don’t understand what they are saying or as if it’s not our right to have the détaxe!! Better to pay more in another pharmacy at least we will be welcomed in a better way.

I was here a couple of nights ago an hour before they close. It was not so crowded. Unfortunately, I didn't see anybody with the white coats. Anyway, I got what I wanted and more. I just love coming here. All cash registers were open and the line was fast. When I got to the register, the cashier started scanning. I asked immediately before he could finish if he speaks English and if I can have the tax refund on my items. He said "yes" and a girl asked me for my passport and credit card and told me to wait on the side. After 3 mins, she handed me my tax refund, my passport and credit card. I exited and that's that.

I was shocked by the behaviour of a doorman and an employee who’s showing your way at the cashier desks. I am very faithful client of this pharmacy and assistants are usually helpful. But these to guys basically aggressed me for my attempt of taking a picture of shampoo and sending it to a friends for whom I was supposed to buy it. No document concerning restrictions if taking pictures in store were shown. Also, No signs of such prohibition on display. Rude gestures, screenings, showing me the door! “If you don’t like our service, get out of here!” The doorman said. Shocking. My proposition to calm down we’re met by more agression. That caused me deep stress. They didn’t let me read product description, I couldn’t stay any longer nor buy it because of them. Two agressive tall men threatening me (I’m 160 cm, tiny woman) in a middle of Paris! I really hope management will talk to these people. No safety in your pharmacy otherwise. Happened on Tuesday 18, around 13.30. Thank you.

Came here for a covid test so we could get a passe sanitaire. Super quick, easy, and friendly. Cost 25 euro/person. Took less than 15 min from checkout to test result. Received our QR codes via email within an hour.

Look at the LOWEST reviews. They are all true. Just experienced it an hour ago. Very very rude cashier. Mine is a girl with big eyes, beside her is a male cashier which is also very rude to the customer. Overall the staffs there have very bad attitude. Will NEVER come back again. Rather paid more for better service pharma.

I went around 1pm and it was very crowded. I just had some pictures on my phone and was able to get some assistance from one of the sales staff on the floor. If I had time and luggage space I probably would have spent more time trying to navigate the crowd. One of the products I was after was sold out but there was heaps of stock of absolutely everything else. I was luckily in and out without too much hassle.

City Pharma is the best supermarket for pharmaceutical products in Europe. It is a three-story building where thousands of pharmaceutical product references are sold. It is located at 26 rue du Four - Paris and is about a hundred meters from the Line 4 Saint Germain deprès Metro Station. Many advisors are available to customers and checkouts on each floor. Here the price is unbeatable whatever the range of product you are looking for.

One of the cheapest pharmacy in Paris. Plenty of choices of brands: Bioderma, Avene, Vichy, Klorane, La Roche Porsay, as well as all of the vitamins and food supplements. The problem is there is always too much clients, so you have to spend too much time just moving around (it's very big with 3 floors), waiting in line to be adviced by a staff and to pay. So experience is not very pleasant. Prepare to spend more time here than you think!

The products here are cheaper than at other places indeed. Regarding COVID-19-related products, they seem to keep changing suppliers until they find the cheapest ones -making some very good products no longer available (there used to be individual disinfecting wipes for phones but I could never find those again...). But above all, considering how packed that pharmacy always is, with no compliance whatsoever for social distancing, you'd better wear FFP2 or N95 masks if you venture into that potential cluster. Lastly, the least thing you'd expect from the staff is to wear masks properly -right, Eric from the top floor???

⏰ Saw the craze around how crowded this place was and went around 9 in the morning in hopes of missing the crowd and was successful! The store was still crowded, but not unshoppable 😅 The selection was amazing, across hundreds of brands stretching from skin care to hair care to makeup products 👍🏻 Price was even better, at under 50% of what I usually pay in Singapore! 🥳 Definitely a must-go if you are in Paris and are shopping for Healthcare Products!

When I come to Paris every 3 months I have to pass to get my daily products, I didn't go to any other pharmacy in France after I found this one,, For reall it's a huge difference specially if you buy stuff for 3 months or more

I bought a lot of SKINCEUTICALS product. Sad to say the contents differ from the ones I bought from the US. I’m not sure if authentic. Color, smell and consistency is different. They are very expensive products but they priced it a little cheaper. I didn’t think there could be fake products sold in French pharmacy so I still bought them. I can’t confirm it as I went to Paris on vacation and already home. I couldn’t find a way to reach out to pharmacy too so this review is the only way. I hope pharmacy read this and comment that it is not fake.

No idea why some customers are unable to shop here without having a meltdown. If you don't want your bags inspected, then go to your other stores afterward. It should go without saying don't bring pets to a store that's already packed with customers. No one wants your furry friend sniffing at the merchandise anyway. Can't find the right item without help? Try some research before coming down. You don't need to be fluent in French to understand most of the products they sell. If you can follow some basics, you will be rewarded with a huge selection, consistently low prices, and in my experience friendly employees.

A lady at this store sold a product to me and assure me that it’s for acne scarring so I bought it. But when I got home and translated everything it turns out to be a product for inflamed acne which is not for scarring. I tried to return the new, unopened product but they yell at me when I tried to explain my situation and wouldn’t do anything about it:( .

Shopping here is an experience in itself - it’s like the Disney of pharmacies. Yes, it’s very busy BUT they have lots of staff who know the products well, can answer questions and aren’t pushy at all. Unlike in other pharmacies you don’t feel like you’re inconveniencing them with questions. Prices are competitive. The queue to pay looks long but moves FAST. Overall, a great place to shop for French beauty products, and a must-visit for beauty aficionadas in Paris.

Cannot beat the prices here on french branded skincare items. The earlier in the day you go, the better, as the shop gets busier throughout the day. It is a bit of a madhouse in terms of products, people, and everything. Find pharmacists and people dressed in a white lab coat for the best and most efficient help. The employees stocking the shelves are not helpful nor friendly. There are several floors of products including an actual pharmacy, first aid, and baby items. Check out is also on the top floor. Tourists and locals alike come here. Definitely visit!

I found this store by chance and I was very satisfied with the selection of skincare brands. The staff helped me with right products that are actually effective for the skin and affordable (much cheaper than other pharmacies in the neighborhood). A must-visit if you are into skincare.

I had such a great experience with the help of Marie. She steered me towards something better suited towards my skin than what I had previously been looking for and customized recommendations for my mom and me. You can tell how much she loves her job.

Some products are significantly more expensive on the shelves than on the click and collect site (e.g. ffp2 masks at 8.89 and 5.99 on the site). Unfortunately not all products can be ordered (example covid tests) which means that you will have to queue for click and collect, queue at the checkout for other products (without knowing if there will be any), and justify of your click and collect products from unpleasant security guards. The staff is of no help beyond product advice. Always crowdy. I now avoid this place as much as possible.

Not only does this store have a large selection of amazing products at great prices their customer service is exceptional! I asked for help in the beauty area and the woman walked around and showed me specific products for what I was looking for. Despite the crowds she never rushed me and was willing to answer all of my questions. Will definitely return on my next visit to Paris!

This really is worth the visit if you're visiting Paris. I arrived mid afternoon while it was quite busy but there was a lot of staff on hand to answer questions and guide you and the pharmacists were really knowledgeable and responsive. Even with the lines and crowds I was able to find most of what I needed and leave within 30 minutes. I stopped by 5 other pharmacies during my visit and none compared in terms of prices and offerings. If you're not staying in the area and want to plan an itinerary, this is a short walk away from Notre Dame.

Must visit every time in Paris, highly recommend. Fantastic pharmacy with all the French beauty brands you could want with excellent pricing to boot. The aisles are small though, the store isn’t intuitively organized so it may be hard to find things, and it gets really crazy, so recommend going early in the day. They also have items that are not on the shelves but only available if you ask for it at the checkout area, so make sure to ask the salespeople (there are plenty of them) if you can’t find anything.

They do sell the good in a relatively low price compare to other pharmacy. But for those hot items, they are usually out of stock if you go late and they will not refill it on the day And it's so crowded and the cashier line is so long. And the cashier didn't mention tax refund limit has changed to 100euro recently (which I thought it's still 175euro, until I visited another store and they told me), and didn't offer to do so, and I missed the refund procedure. Store keeper are not as friendly as other pharmacy. Not a very good experience indeed.

They don't allow dogs even though they sell medicine for dogs. Would not even help though I was bleeding in front of their door and needed bandages for my cut finger. My dog is clean and well behaved and this was the only pharmacy open near me. Really shameful.

This is always my go to pharmacy when I come to Paris (since 2014). In 2022, the latest tax policy is If you bought cosmetics &skincare products over €100 then you can get a tax refund. I have a general good shopping experience this time as well, the only one small thing that disappoints me is one of the staff told me that I have to buy over €175 to get a tax refund (which is the old rules before). As I was standing in front of the products and trying to figure out what to add to my basket(did some homework before coming about the tax and what to get) , I knew I had roughly just about €100, she look into my basket and said I have a lot more to buy before I reach that threshold €175. I felt like there could be a sign at the entrance so people could probably know what amount they should reach if they want to get a tax refund.

If you go around 10 in the morning the crowds are manageable and the queue for the cash register is short. The store is laid out in a very tight manner, so not suitable for the easily claustrophobic. An experience to be sure.

Amazing store ! Do your research before you go ! I take screenshots of what I want to buy and either find it myself or show the picture to the employees and they know exactly where it is . It’s not a great store to browse , too crowded . So go with a plan and execute it quickly . Also be on the look out for products on sale They are a steal . Grab them and figure out what it is later 😂

Absolutely lived up to it's reputation. Fantastic shop with all of the excellent French brands you are in search of. Multiple helpful pharmacists on hand to assist in finding what you are looking for. Go with a list (if you're visiting Paris as I was); Shereene Idriss & Caroline Hirons have excellent suggestions on their respective channels. Also, do inform the person ringing you up that you would like VAT forms BEFORE they start scanning your items; my thanks to Ms.Corrine and her patience to arrange for my forms after she had scanned my purchases (tourist mistake). Overall it's a well organized shop with everything you would need, about 10-15 mins walk from the Louvre.

Citypharma offers the best value and options for popular French skincare and hair products (Vichy, La Roche Posay, Nuxe, Avène, Caudalie, Decléor, Embryolisse, Bioderma, l'Occitane, Kérastase, Phyto, Klorane, etc.). City locals and tourists know they can get the best price here so the store is constantly crowded and busy. However, I've never had an issue getting help from staff and they will often approach me to offer assistance. The tax refund process is also quick and easy to complete with the cashiers. With a minimum purchase of 100euros, you can get a tax refund of up to 14%, but for supplements & vitamins, the tax return is only 5%. I will continue to shop at Citypharma to get the best deal!

France's pharmacies are my guilty pleasure. This one doesn't disappoint, 3 floors of all sorts of health, wellness, skincare and body products to suit every need. Go at a good time because if it's crowded, it's very hard to move around and can get stuffy since the aisles are narrow.

  • 5/5 Jay S. 8 months ago on Google
I visited Citypharma on Rue du Four in Paris. It's consistently bustling with people, but they offer great deals and I always manage to find the products I need. Another time-saving option is to order online and simply pick up your items at the counter.

  • 4/5 Sarah Y. 2 years ago on Google
I went there on a Saturday noon which was a mistake because it was so crowded that it made my shopping experience unpleasant. What I love about this place is it has a wide selection of skin care products. Cosmetics, wellness, medicines and etc that are within reasonable price range. I also appreciated that the sales were pretty helpful that they came to help me finding the things I look for. You can get tax refund if you spend over 100 euros, and you would need to bring your passport to get tax refund which is measly of 5% of certain categories as of June 4 2022. I’d shop at this place if I come back to Paris.

Packed like a metro at rush hour. It’s not spacious, aisles are narrow, staff more interested in their cell phones. I was pickpocketed, my wallet stolen., and the security and staff were markedly indifferent. I’ve lived in Paris for 2 decades and I can say that there’s no discount. Plus, …all products can be found at a good sized Monoprix grocery store. The mystique around the store is totally bewildering to us ex- pats. I will never set foot inside there again. Avoid, avoid. It’s a scam!
