My
dentist
directed
me
to
the
clinic
to
study
a
solution
to
replace
the
missing
tooth
47.
The
solution
offered
by
this
clinic
is
the
placement
of
2
implants
and
the
extraction
of
tooth
48.
I
obviously
inform
the
dentist
in
charge
of
the
work
of
my
background
and
the
radiotherapy
undergone
by
the
oral
area
13
years
ago.
This
apparently
poses
no
problem
to
her
and
she
does
not
inform
me
that
the
jaw
is
necrotic
(therefore
fragile).
On
April
4th,
I
underwent
the
extraction
of
tooth
48
under
extremely
painful
conditions
and
the
dentist
decides
to
place
only
one
implant,
given
the
state
of
the
jawbone
after
the
extraction
of
the
tooth.
In
the
days
that
followed,
the
jaw
remained
very
painful
and
an
area
of
the
chin
and
the
lip
lost
its
sensitivity.
On
April
16
while
eating
I
hear
a
crack
in
my
jaw
and
I
can
no
longer
chew
without
triggering
acute
pain.
I
go
back
to
see
the
dentist
at
the
clinic
who
sends
me
urgently
to
the
hospital
“la
pitié
salpêtrière”
to
consult
a
specialist
in
irradiated
jaws.
The
latter
tells
me
that
the
jaw
is
in
very
bad
condition
and
that
its
repair
will
certainly
take
at
least
3
months,
she
prescribes
me
drugs
and
antibiotics
for
the
next
3
months.
From
that
day
on,
it
was
very
difficult
for
me
to
eat
and
only
semi-liquid…
I
lost
9
kilos.
A
panoramic
x-ray
revealed
a
broken
jaw.
I
was
therefore
referred
to
a
maxilofacial
surgeon
who
initially
preferred
to
wait
for
the
bone
to
heal
on
its
own,
but
after
3
months
of
treatment
the
bone
did
not
heal
and
the
surgeon
recommended
a
bone
graft,
alone
solution
to
regain
the
ability
to
chew
and
regain
normal
speech.
In
conclusion,
I
have
been
suffering
for
7
months
and
am
handicapped
by
this
situation:
difficulties
in
speaking,
chewing
and
swallowing.
The
dentist
at
the
Iclinique
did
not
assess
the
risk
at
its
fair
value
and
above
all
did
not
inform
me...
(Original)
Mon
dentiste
m"a
dirigé
vers
iclinique
pour
étudier
une
solution
pour
remplacer
la
dent
47
manquante.
La
solution
proposée
par
cette
clinique
est
la
pose
de
2
implants
et
l’extraction
de
la
dent
48.
J’informe
bien
évidemment
la
dentiste
en
charge
des
travaux
de
mes
antécédents
et
de
la
radiothérapie
subie
par
la
zone
buccale
il
y
a
13
ans.
Ceci
ne
lui
pose
apparemment
aucun
problème
et
elle
ne
m'informe
pas
que
la
mâchoire
est
nécrosée
(donc
fragile).
Le
04
avril
dernier,
je
subis
l’extraction
de
la
dent
48
dans
des
conditions
extrêmement
pénibles
et
la
dentiste
décide
de
ne
poser
qu’un
seul
implant,
compte
tenu
de
l’état
de
l’os
de
la
mâchoire
après
l’extraction
de
la
dent.
Dans
les
jours
qui
suivent
la
mâchoire
reste
très
douloureuse
et
une
zone
du
menton
et
de
la
lèvre
a
perdu
sa
sensibilité.
Le
16
avril
en
mangeant
j’entends
un
craquement
dans
ma
mâchoire
et
je
ne
peux
plus
mastiquer
sans
déclencher
des
douleurs
aigües.
Je
retourne
voir
la
dentiste
de
la
clinique
qui
m’envoie
en
urgence
à
l’hôpital
«
la
pitié
salpêtrière
»
consulter
une
spécialiste
des
mâchoires
irradiées.
Cette
dernière
m’annonce
que
la
mâchoire
est
en
très
mauvais
état
et
que
sa
réparation
mettra
certainement
au
moins
3
mois
elle
me
prescrit
médicaments
et
antibiotiques
pour
les
3
mois
à
venir.
A
partir
de
ce
jour,
je
me
suis
alimenté
très
difficilement
et
uniquement
en
semi
liquide…
j’ai
perdu
9
kilos.
Une
radio
panoramique
a
permis
de
déceler
une
fracture
de
la
mâchoire.
J’ai
donc
été
dirigé
vers
un
chirurgien
maxilo
facial
qui
dans
un
premier
temps
a
préféré
attendre
que
l’os
se
ressoude
seul,
or
après
3
mois
de
traitement
l’os
ne
se
ressoude
pas
et
le
chirurgien
a
préconise
une
greffe
osseuse,
seule
solution
pour
retrouver
une
capacité
à
mastiquer
et
à
retrouver
une
élocution
normale.
En
conclusion,
je
souffre
depuis
7
mois
et
suis
handicapé
par
cette
situation
:
difficultés
d’élocution,
de
mastication
et
de
déglutition.
La
dentiste
de
la
Iclinique
n'a
pas
évalué
le
risque
à
sa
juste
valeur
et
surtout
ne
m'en
a
pas
informé...
