Ģreat place to go . Friendly service, the breakfast is a must, my wife had poached eggs on toast. Spotlessly clean, tables and chairs wiped down. If your going through Bishopton it's a must to visit. 🐻🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🦄

I had never been in the area before, so after a Google map search for a cafe, we chose to go. we always stop off somewhere for bacon or blackpuding rolls & I have to say I enjoyed my brunch at May's the bacon & blackpudding rolls we had were delicious but 1 & 1/2 bits of blackpudding on such a large roll would have been better the coffee & fresh orange we had very good.

This coffee shop is a delight to visit. Perfect place to call in with a toddler after a local library session! The staff are kind, very professional and go out of their way to make customers welcome. Nothing is too much trouble. Thank you all of you. Oh and it is also scrupulously clean. Well done. The scones are hot, freshly made and delicious.

Arrived at 12:15 and asked to wait outside whilst they cleaned a table. 12:20 seated at an extremely sticky table, (omg now I remember why I never came back here) so much so we asked for napkins to place under our arms to prevent damage to sleeves , placed order. Cutlery and water delivered to table at 12:25. Busy chatting to my friend when we realised no food had arrived by now it is 13:15, we asked one of the girls if we could expect food! WTH, girl approaches to say that she is sorry but she forgot to place the order and it will be a further 10 mins, EH! No thank you. Now the place was busy but not to full capacity, avoid!

Live in the area and have been here a few times before, previously food was poor and cold and the staff were not that friendly, quite cheeky to be honest. A number of months have passed and thought I’d give it another go but let down and I must say their prices are a bit on the steep side. Ordered a wee breakfast £6 (yea £6 I couldn’t believe it) and had an allergy therefore asked for them to change an item. Waited 15 minutes for takeaway and got home a few minutes later to find the food stone cold and the item had been removed but not replaced with my alternative I had requested. So I payed £6 and was short changed. Avoiding forever now. No more chances

Waited 40 mins for a out of date ‘baked’ potato fresh from microwave and half a sandwich that was meant to come with salad and coleslaw according to the menu but didn’t. Just gave me half a sandwich for £2.30.

Need more staff out front. 3 in the back one out front trying to manage loads of customers for sit in and takeaway. Even if they helped clear the tables which had customers food still on it after they had been away for over an hour.

Well. Ordered a jacket potato at 13.04. waitress came over at 13.28 to gruffly inform me they had run out of spuds so were making me a fresh one. Was served a jacket potato at 13.35 that was rock hard but I was starving so I ate the lot. Nae apologies. Salad was nice. Love a bit of balsamic. Not gonna recommend to the masses but then again where else are you gonna go in Bishopton? 5/10 might get a breakfast sandwich at some point.

After grueling flight from states to Edinburgh, we needed a stop for food before our trek to hotel in Appin. We took the road to Bishopton in hopes of finding food and found May's. We were not disappointed. 6 famished Americans looking for good food and we found it here. Everyone left quite happy and ready for our drive. All the food we chose was excellent. More than one Wee Scottish breakfasts were served. Friendly staff and very helpful.
