Some lovely things in the shop. Plenty of plants out the back. Ordered a couple of teas in restaurant/ tearoom. Had to wait a wee while to be served but staff were getting kept really busy. Staff very pleasant.

Nice garden centre with young friendly and enthusiastic staff. We were there for garden stuff and plants and got nearly everything we wanted. What we didnt get was done to late deliveries so outwith staff's hands. Fortunately we didn't want to use the restaurant as it was queued out. Still great place for garden stuff though.

Well organised with all protocols followed re track and trace etc. Stopped for quick bowl of soup and ended up both having soup&sandwich combo as it was good value. Was pleasantly surprised by quality. Soup was just like home and was tasty and hot!! Nice bread was packed with filling and was really fresh. As good as the food was it was bettered by the lovely Nicole who served us!!!! Will definitely be back!!!!!

My friend and I visited the centre last Thursday in May 2023. The garden centre was actually really great, dog friendly, great selection of products in the shop and the staff were pleasant. It was the cafe that was the issue. We looked online to see which cafes close to us were open and it is stated in the website that Caulders is open until 5.30. However, on arrival at 4.50 in the cafe, we were told that it was closed. I asked the actual closing time of the cafe and was told it was 5pm. I asked if we could get a couple of take away coffees and was told the coffee machine was off. While I understand the staff do not make the policies, having worked as a barista myself, I am familiar with closing down procedures and the coffee machine should be left on until the actual stated closing time of the cafe. Specific cafe opening and closing times should be stated on the website and also that you cannot get a coffee 10 minutes before this closing time should be explained. If it had been on the website, we would have gone elsewhere to save a journey and a lot of frustration. Will not be back again, to the cafe or to the centre. The cafe is also not dog friendly, which is weird as the whole rest of the centre is!

Lovely spacious inside entrance and till area. Cramped clothes corner. Hard to manoeuvre a wheelchair round without catching on something. Problem could easily be fixed by re-proportioning the shop.outdoors was lovely plenty of room. Toilets were clean and fresh and well looked after. Cafe had lovely staff and hot non greasy food.

A very lovely place. I visited here after my dad completed his last charity walk with my little brother, Jacob. The staff were extremely welcoming and professional and the sweet treats they gave were all delicious. My dad was extremely pleased with the certificate they offered Jacob for his walks. The woman who presented it was lovely as well. I am sorry, I didn't catch her name but she was very nice with everything. A massive thanks and well done to all the staff.

We purposely went this garden centre to look for a picture as one previously purchased here. They only had a couple for sale so no purchase. We did buy plants. There are two parts to the restaurant. The first part is like a canteen and too noisy for my mum who is deaf. The second room has lovely soft seats and a view over the garden centre.I asked for a table in the nice part and was abruptly told its all booked and no idea when a table would be free.We said we would wait and given a buzzer and 10 minutes later we had a table. We had flatbreads which were expensive but delicious and chips then a strawberry tart also lovely. We had practically finished our food by the time our drinks came and only when we reminded them we had not received these. I have been to a number of Caulders garden centres and really like them even though pricey and the shops are good to wander round. It's a shame it was let down by one girls attitude and slow service for drinks. If these issues are addressed it could be 5 star.

Excellent garden centre. Lots of choice and all the plants are well looked after. They were all being watered as I was walking around. Excellent selection of Japanese Acer trees.

Great quality plants and gardening accessories. Knowledgeable staff.. Spoke with Blair (or was it Clare 🤔😉) who gave great advice on a specific plant we were looking for. Will be back in again... Great value

Called in on Saturday afternoon for something to eat. The macaroni I had was lovely and couldn't fault it. The thing that let you down was your ladies toilets. I dont know when they had last been checked but there was paper all over the bin beside the WC , the hand basin and some on the floor. Not really the standards I would expect from a company like yourselves.

Food is always delicious - especially the cakes (shout out for the caramel shortcake) - so much so I even enjoy the side salad thanks to delicious dressing. Really convenient if visiting Erskine Care Home. All in all, this is a weekend favourite for family lunches.

I would say this is up there with one of the best garden centres I've been to. The way things are displayed is quite different. I met one of the gardeners Matt who was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. Wide range of plants, shrubs trees, flowers & garden pots, planters. But not to mention the great furniture and gift shop area. Then a huge cafe overlooking the beautiful kilpatrick hills this is definitely one garden centre to check out 💚☕🍰

I meet my school friend at Caulders Cafe regularly. However have found the food a bit disappointing. Today I ordered baked potato with coronation chicken. It was duly brought and the waitress warned that the plate was too hot to touch. Then why on earth did the kitchen place a salad on that hot plate, it was wilted and unappetising, needless to say it was not eaten. The potato was not fresh either. Sorry really did not enjoy it one bit. Waiters too inexperienced to know how to deal with the situation. Will still be back to meet my friend though, perhaps just for coffee….

Dropped in for coffee and cake after completing a walk in the Kilpatrick Hills. First time at this garden centre. Car park outside main entrance full but an overflow one yards away. Into the restaurant and it was very busy but still tables available. Coffee was first class as was the apple pie. Meals going to other customers looked well presented and substantial. Staff very friendly. Before leaving had a look at plants etc on offer. Good selection but as my garden is full didn't buy anything, but, after getting home wished I had purched the Jackobite Rose I saw. Now an excuse to return. Well worth a visit.

Lovely well kept garden centre. Purchased quite a few beautiful plants on Friday for our new garden. Went into the cafe for a quick bite to eat and although busy we were seated and served quickly. Both had a soup and sandwich combo which was tasty. Whilst waiting on my wife who was browsing the clothing area I noticed quite a few of the staff members entering the toilets with their waiting aprons on … won’t be eating there again! Welcoming smiles from the girls at tills very friendly and helpful. I ended up purchasing a friends card and saved money on my purchase. Will be back for plants but will be giving the cafe a swerve.

Really great garden centre. Lovely furniture, clothing, house accessories and garden accessories, as well as a lovely cafe. Really nice staff. The food is good too.

Visited recently for a lunch break during a driving lesson with my daughter. Very busy inside and had to wait for a table, hence 4 and not 5 stars. Staff were very helpful and the food was very good value for money with tasty choices and large portions. Worth a visit, perhaps avoid weekend lunchtimes.

Cafe serves lovely meals and snacks. Served by a lovely young boy called Ally who couldn't have been more accommodating. Garden centre itself has lots of choice with stunning furniture and good quality plants. I would definitely recommend a visit.

Just popped in for cake and coffee on our way home. Lovely selection and also gluten free for my husband who has coeliac. When I saw the sandwiches and lunches being served I wished I had been hungry . A very nice place for a wee stop .

Very poor today. Been a customer since they opened. Ordered panini tuna melt and cheese n tomatoes panini, came 15 minutes after tea n coffee were served, so thise were so thise were done well before the tuna melt salad was hot as were the crips. So obviously its been left under hot lamp while other one was made. Girl offered to speak to manager but I left after paying full bill. Just lost us as customers. If chef doesn't know that salad is meant to be cold. Then not for me.

Very disappointed, expected better. For the price we were charged it was very underrated. Had macaroni, it said macaroni cheese on menu, but I was given the macaroni bit, the soup, was supposedly ministronie, I had the water, stilling waiting on the rest. The rest of us had the soup sandwich combo. For what they charged they got the water and two slices of bread with a bit of tuna stuck in the middle. Will not hurry back. Honestly disappointed.

Visited today for the 1st time , really nice place with plenty of Garden plants etc, but was so disappointed with member of staff in the garden centre. I went in with big trolley and staff member was hosing, the hose however was in my way as I couldn't push the big trolley over it as the wheels caught on it, staff member looked at me, saw I was having problems but just ignored me and carried on, I couldn't believe she couldn't say "I'm so sorry please let me get that out your way for you" or even smiled, but no, so I asked if she could move it for me please, she just gave me a tutted look and sarcastically said she would move it, I was slightly annoyed by this manner and said " if it's not too much trouble" and again sarcastically said "no trouble" I then went to check out as had enough but the girl at checkout could not have been nicer, credit to company, pity couldn't say same for rude member of staff in garden dept.

Visited the cafe within the garden centre to meet with two friends. I was impressed with their procedures around Covid-19. There is a good choice of food and drinks available and the service was efficient. We were all happy with the food and drinks ordered.

Good garden centre with lots of choice of garden equipment and plants. I didn't spend much time there as still required to distance. Will spend more time next time I visit.

Although the cakes and sandwiches for afternoon tea were good...one small pot of tea is not sufficient. It would be better to charge slightly more and get a decent drink.

I phoned this café a couple of days earlier, asking if I should book a table for lunch. I was told it was OK just to turn up. On the day, when we arrived, we were told we would have to wait, maybe, half an hour. We are three people in our seventies, and this is not ideal, so we left.

Popped in to shop and decided to have lunch. Great garden centre, nice gifts and Christmas display. Lunch was delicious, home cooked, fresh and tasty. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. Very covid secure, suggest if you've not booked you go to the restaurant first they will give you a buzzer whilst you shop which lets you know when you table is ready. Recommend a visit!

Fortunately, there is an overflow carpark, the garden centre is very covid friendly, I felt safe. I had lunch here and the restruant is well organised with a good menu selection and the staff are very attentive. This was my second visit for lunch and I will continue to return. Although the car park is very busy, remember the overflow park. A great display of Christmas decorations available. Well done to Caulders at the Erskine Bridge ... support local businesses.
