Our tutor, Karim, show loads of patience and humour guiding us with surfing and kite surfing. Very knowledgeable and super friendly kind guy. Very good vibes. It was a easy to communicate, the staff was friendly and helpful with advice & planning, flexible with payment options and trusted our friend group to pay only a small initial deposit on Day 1, and the final balance only at the very end of all sessions. Instructors were patient during lessons. For the 3 days we took lessons, we almost felt a part of the "family". Would come back again if we're ever in Essaouira

I had a fantastic time with Explora! They are family friendly and super flexible. Some days we just hired surf boards and wet suits and others we had kite surfing lessons. Our instructor was excellent, his explanations were the perfect combination of letting you understand the overall goal and knowing what to do right now! They also organised other activities for us and we were able to re-fuel in their delicious restaurant next door; Panoramic. I highly recommend Explora! 👏👏 👏👏👏

I had an incredible experience with the Explora Watersports team. I booked a kitesurfing beginners course with a friend and everything ran very smoothly. The instructors were very well-skilled and knowledgeable. You could really feel that they loved their job. Communication was good and in multiple languages. Accommodation provided at Bianca Guest House was beautiful and the staff were so welcoming. I cannot wait to return!

I spent a bit over a week kiting in Essaouira in April 2022, renting my gear and taking some lessons at Explora. The team there is super friendly and the equipment I got was always top-notch. They offered a variety of the newest Duotone kites and boards, giving me the chance to test out a lot of different material. The conditions at the kitespot, although not always easy to ride due to a steadily changing combination of waves and sometimes gusty winds, offered me ideal conditions to develop my strapless abilities and to get more comfortable kiting in small to medium waves. If the wind is low, I can also highly recommend taking a surfing lesson or two, since the spot offers great conditions for beginner to intermediate wavesurfers. The teaching was excellent and I managed to pop up and surf standing up from day one.

Thanks too Nasser and his whole Team at Explora Morroco we had the very best holiday possible. Essaouira is amazing because it has a mix of everything that is good. Amazing exotic culture and life in the streets (make sure to check out Gnaua music). Absolutely great kite spot with flat water between gently waves and constant winds for kitesurfing. Good waves for beginners wave surfers in front of the station or amazing waves for surfing experts close by. The Explora morroco center has equipment for everything you need. We surfed in the morning and kitesurfed in the afternoon. What really impressed us was the kite service at the center and also the amazing recommendations for food we got from the manager Ananas. "Incredible Kitesurfing school" What an incredible time I spent with Explora water sports family. After seeing so many great reviews, I contacted them and it so easy and smooth. I booked 12 hours semi-private kitesurfing lesson and from the first day I feel so welcomed! the team, literally everyone is super nice, kind and helpful. I enjoyed every single lessons and made so many friends. My kitesurfing instructor, Hoummadi, he is just incredible, so patient, knows exactly what he is doing and he actually made me a kitesurfer by the end of my lessons! I couldn't believe it! Now, I can ride the waves. Thank you so much my friend! Last but not least, the management, Nass and Anas, thank you so much for been flexible with me and making me feel like at home! Thank you! My son had a lovely week surfing at Explora. The whole team are very warm and friendly, especially Anas, who is great with kids. Unlike most other surf schools, the lessons at Explora are tailored to the surfer’s level and focused on helping them progress.

Used Explora services during our 2 months family-stay in Essaouira for surf (for adults and kids) and kitesurf lessons and for equipment rental. Really satisfied with the experiences in all cases - friendly staff, good quality equipment, professional instructors etc. Staff talks good english. As a kite instructor I can recommend Karim - lessons where fun and the he managed to split the skills required for kitesurfing so that it was easy to follow and practice. Thanks!

Me and my friend had an amazing time kiting at Explora. We stayed at Riad Bianca (arranged by Explora) in the Medina, which was a beautiful Riad with amazing food. We have met great people both at the Riad and in the surf school. We really felt like home and spent hours hanging out at the surf school and restaurant before and after our kite lessons. We booked a 10hrs package with Simo and we progressed a lot. He is not only a really good kiter, but also a good teacher. He made sure we felt comfortable with the kite and in the water and he took care of us all time. We really recommend!

My wife and I spontaneously decided to take a surfing lesson with Karim at Explora. In short: It was a perfect experience. We had little to no knowledge, so we started with some short basics and then he took us into the waves. He had a good eye for the small and big mistakes we made and his tips helped a lot. In two hours we both made more progress then we exspected, had plenty of time on the board and a lot of fun. We highly recommend!
