We had diner in this lovely place, top atmosphere, authentic but stylish food excellent and very kind people. All tables have their own little cove, we were beside the fireplace very cozy. Lovely evening. Difficult to find but a definite do. Follow the alley to the end at the left there is above looking brown door, just knock and you enter a beautiful Riad where you can see the ladies in the kitchen. All dishes look stunning

I came to the riad for dinner in their restaurant where everything is made from scratch and you have to order your dishes a day in advance. I wish more people knew about this hidden gem as i only chanced upon them on a TripAdvisor comment. The entire team was so kind and hospitable, I immediately felt at home :) would love to stay here next time I visit! Price was on the higher side but well worth the great service and quality!

Wonderful atmosphere, truly a hinden gem. The chef and her team does an amazing job with breakfast and dinner, the smells from the kitchen are very welcome! The team they have are all friendly and very helpful, including the cat who im sure believes he owns the place. Would deffiently recommend the hotel and could easily see myself and my partner returning

We enjoyed our stay in Riad Malaïka very much. The location was a little unexpected but once you enter you're greeted with a stunning water feature. The room was nice, we had everything we needed for our stay. The staff were very friendly and were able to accommodate many if not all of our requests. The breakfast was also delicious. I would recommend Riad Malaïka to others who are going to Essaouira.

Before you get inside you might think “ is it correct place? “.. but once you are inside you start feeling the atmosphere, warm welcoming, nice design.. we reserved a table for dinner, and it was one of the greatest things we have done in Morocco. Our food was just great. The best tagine in Morocco so far! Harira soup was tasty as well. Don’t hesitate to have dinner there!

We spent our last two nights of an epic holiday at Malaika riad. Loved the rooms. On the second night we enjoyed what was arguably the best meal of the trip. A great place to stay and if I'm ever lucky enough to return to Essaouira it's where I'd choose.

This is the best riad we have ever stayed in. Right in the centre of town, but just tucked away enough from the business. We loved the place not just because of the fantastic deco and comfortableness and spaciousness of our room, but also because of the wonderful staff. The owner Sylvie and her team are most welcoming and accommodating people we have ever met on a trip, the chief is also amazing! Make sure you have dinner at the hotel! We have already booked our second trip to stay with them again!

Very Good food. Very helpful staff. Good central location. Only negative No shower curtain or door so water goes everywhere if you try and take a shower and they had a small oil radiator that had a hard time keeping the room warm but plenty of blankets. And we did visit at a colder time. Of year. Would stay there again.

discovered by chance while walking in the medina, we booked a dinner at the restaurant and it was a very pleasant experience, we felt pampered by the excellent cuisine and the exquisite staff. very few tables and a quiet and reserved atmosphere. absolutely a pearl.

We only visited for a christmas evening dinner but if the food and staff is anything like the rooms it must be really nice. The food was outstanding, especially the dessert! Very elaborate and delicous! The wine was also pretty good. Host and staff extremely friendly. The Riad can be a bit hard to find the first time since there's no signs in the alley, just a slightly faded "Mailaka" embossment on the wall. Entry is in Rue Zayan, just before it turns left.

If you are staying in Essaourira, definitely stay here. The riad is fantastically beautiful with beautifully furnished rooms. The operators are helpful and friendly at all times. The food is... simply unbelievably good!!! You can watch the food being prepared and hear lots of laughter from the kitchen. For us, this was clearly the best meal on our 5-week trip to Morocco.
