Old part of the town, small streets, near good fish market and place to eat local fresh sea food. Also popular for the scenes from Game of thrones. Can be really windy. Also good place to watch sunrise or sunset. Enjoyed this little town by the ocean

A very picturesque part of the old city! The place is full of fishing boats and it now serves more as a base of operations for the local fishermen.

This place is amazing. The wind is so powerful just as essaouira is known for fast and strong wind. The water is in 3 shades of blue and don’t mix, the sky is blue and the pictures are beautiful. The Canon is from Barcelona.

I can't believe that it has been three years since I visited the place 😭 Historically buildings, colourful, delicious food, and on top of that its friendly people 🥰😍🤗 Indeed, Salut Maroco 👏🌷

I think that my comment may not be known about the city of Essaouira, the port is staggering in history .. You will be dazzled by the place. I just want to tell you if you like seafood and fish then you are in the right place. You will find vendors selling seafood on the spot, so do not be shy about taking your time and eating it on the spot, and enjoy the place ..

Such an authentic Atlantic port! So beautiful! You may see the way people make their living here, traditional fishing boats, fishermen, cats, etc. We met a small dessert trolley, 2.5 Dh for a piece of cake! We bought five pieces! All delicious~

Beautiful to see, but not for long. We were left wondering if we'd missed anything of if something was closed or different than normal. A photographer's dream because of the nice colours, architecture and the 'real' life of the fishermen, but as I said, it doesn't last forever.

A four hour drive by bus from Marrakesh around 250 km by bus. Worth the visit. You will enjoy the ocean view and the ship and the castle as a good touristic site.

Gorgeous place to visit. During the say you can see how beautiful and old and authentic buildings are and at night you can see how this small city transforms to a incredible adventure for your senses.
